    • @JeremyBlant
      @JeremyBlant 5 років тому

      Yetii it’s okay at best. Don’t expect a very high quality sound. I have had it for a few years. The Boss Katana or Roland Cube are much better amps or even a Line 6 spider

    • @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy
      @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy 2 роки тому

      100% yes… this is my main bedroom jam amp. You can actually gig with it as well. It’s possible. This amp gets a lot of hate, but if you tinker around with it for a bit, you will find that it’s more capable than haters give it credit for. It is a Marshall, and will provide the Marshall tone… it just takes a little more than usual dialing in compared to other Marshall amps.

    my Marshall mg30cfx is getting noisy(hisss,hummi) when i plug-in my guitar cables.at first i thought the guitar cable is the main source of noisy,so then i use d'addario Circuit Breaker plug..but the noise still the same..but when im using mp3 input for backing track , there is no noise..sadly no Marshall preamp service in my hometown.

    • @tsiakkiros
      @tsiakkiros 7 років тому +2

      I don't know if you bought it yet but this will help. I wanted an amp around the same wattage. 35-50W. Options: this one and the Marshall MG50CFX, Fender Champion 40, the Blackstar ID:Core40, the Roland Cube 40GX, the Line 6 Spider VI, and the Orange 35RT. In my opinion, everybody besides Orange puts loads of "entry level" effects, many watts, but charge way much less than Orange does. That says a lot.
      I went at my local music store and tested the Orange 35RT first. I just couldn't get off it. Played like an hour or so. Seriously. The quality of tone, construction, everything was amazing about it.
      Next up, Fender Champion 40. Went straight to the EQ. No Mids control. A shit tonne of effects, buttons, switches, totally hateful. And that was pretty much it with the rest of them as well. Just small black mean boxes which focus more on quantity rather than quality.

    • @wadeolder7193
      @wadeolder7193 7 років тому +1

      Absolutely correct. I have the Champion 40. The speaker sucks I put a Jensen Mod in it. I never use the many play amp shit settings. Only a very slight reverb on the clean channel. I like its light weight grab and go. NOW if you think the Orange 35 is sweet try the 60CR. The little 35 will get loud but the 60 sounds big and gets bigger when you crank it. I love it to no end for the sound and volume obtainable but its not grab and go. I agree all the rest are black shit boxes trying to appease metal loving players. Orange is bullet proof damn good clean channel and great dirt. (I might look into this year getting 35 and somehow putting a 12 inch Wharehouse speaker in it or make a cabinet that will accommodate it so I could have a grab and go Orange. I'd give the Fender 40 away in a heartbeat)

    • @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy
      @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy 2 роки тому +1

      I own this one (among many Marshall amps) and you don’t really need to swap the speaker. I found a happy sound using all stock parts just by spending some time with the EQ and preamp gain settings. This will sound counterintuitive but if you dial back the gain, boost the mids to around 6, bass to 7 and treble to 8, volume to 9, and add master to taste, you should have a fairly decent sound.

      depends on the size of the room. smaller settings is what this amp would be good for. 30w alone may not be loud enough

    • @tsiakkiros
      @tsiakkiros 7 років тому +3

      If the amp is on PA then definitely yes. If not, then possibly yes, depends on the room's/gymnasium's size. Sound and space are relevant. I have an Orange 35RT, and i play it in my living room, in my one bedroom apartment. Maximum volume ever: not even 2/10, i swear to God. It's loud in a tight space, very, very loud.

    • @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy
      @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy 2 роки тому

      The 30W drive is actually fairly loud… it may get lost in a gymnasium size room if you are competing with half or full stack amps by a second guitarist and/or bass player & drums… but… if there is a PA system being used to mike the amp, then 100% yes it will handle that size room.

      I use mine for bedroom practice...because your can get the volume SUPER low easily....and because all my other amps are TOO loud and can't use them in bedroom, haha. This is a good amp to plug up your computer or ipod and Play along with music, it Dials the sound so the Lead Guitar in the song is LOW, and YOUR guitar is higher...so basically kinda "dials" your guitar into the track...it actually works pretty well, I use it all the time!

      @BangBangBeefyMacNCheesy 2 роки тому +1

      It can be done, but with the right dialing in of the preamp gain, it actually drives the sweet spot of gain / breakup Marshall’s are known for… probably can add an OD pedal if you want to add fatter gain, but adding a full distortion pedal in front of the amp gain probably is overkill. It will handle pedals up front regardless… so the short answer is yes it can handle it.

    Awwwww gee sus ! TIP OF THE CENTURY, get a VALVE amp if you want good sound, I would be horrified to have to use this or it's bigger models onstage in a proper gig situation, what a flipping racket, have people really forgotten what GOOD sound is ? Not only that, some soap heads that throw away good money on this muck find themselves needing to change speakers obviously because the sound just isn't it ! Awwwww humanity eh 🤔

    Have one MG30CFX. Very bad sounding. Overdrive terrible without any Dynamic. Why does Marshall built this shit?
