So true & her parents also did a great job.... They actually seemed like stable/grounded guardians compared to most stage parents & that's something most child stars weren't lucky to have
I absolutely agree! I think that among the several celebrities we see today, Zendaya should be celebrated a lot more because she's THAT girl. She has class, she's often relatable, and she's very strategic about what she says.
Yes, her style matured slowly not like a total 180 like Miley ( no offense to Miley) but I think it helped her earn the respect of the fashion world that they did a slow evolution
Zendaya went from a fashion princess to a fashion empress. She did the ex Disney girl the right way and it all started with her fashion, which is actually a great way and execution.
Well said. It was strategic move & I'm glad it was done. Hell she looks like a high fashion model, even when she's simple. BEAUTIFUL. & Law Roach did a fantastic job as well. He & Zendaya complimented each other. A perfect👌match.
I'm so glad Julianna's career never recovered after what she said. What an awful human being. Daya is one of my favorites and I don't care for celebrities like that. She's wonderful.
He also styled Megan Thee Stallion 💅🏾💅🏾 and Hunter Schafer. He is an outstanding stylist, and hopefully, he prioritizes himself post-retirement and glad he still maintains his relationship with Zendaya
Thank you! I was waiting for this to be mentioned in the video. If a curvier woman wore some of the looks she sported it would have been seen as tacky and oversexualised. Her look helped a lot more than we think. It makes her easier to dress and to market and gives her this air of elegance that others might have to work harder to achieve
I remember as a kid, seeing zendaya in the mid 2010s kind of reach an A-list celeb status while still working in Disney and wondering how her career took off so fast. Didn’t know fashion could be so powerful 👌🏽 love her
My favorite outfit from her was her Cinderella outfit from the 2019 met gala. It’s interesting she wore the dress a month before the series premiere of euphoria kinda of like she was symbolizing her departure from her Disney era and beginning something new which lead to her become a 2x Emmy winning actress
I don’t think Zendaya has ever done the same hair style twice on any red carpet. She might do a ponytail or curly bob but it’s always different & always unique. It’s pure genius
She could honestly make a potato sack fashion but LAWD she was a vision in that dune dress and the poison ivy-esque green dress you touched on. It’s really inspiring to see her fashion evolve as I’m the same age as her, and I feel like I can relate to her in terms of growing up and becoming more confident in my personal style. I love how she never sticks to one thing! So many ppl have aesthetic brain rot and think they have to stick to one style to look good, but zendaya is proof that you can do so much more and still be your authentic self (of course, we all don’t have our own law to help us out tho😅) She truly is that girl
I pretty much grew up with Zendaya. Watching her evolution has been wild because I always knew she was that girl but watching the world come around to it is crazy. Sn: Zendaya’s self titled album was amazing (heaven lost an angel, bottle you up, cry for love, love you forever all deserve justice).
I enjoy her fashion a lot The way it compliments her body and she sticks to what she knows I was wondering if you could do a video on how Disney is a hypocrite how they let other celebs on their platform and do shows but their own actors lose their jobs for that
Zendaya is the perfect age to inspire multiple generations with her fashion. She’s elder Gen z and some would say the youngest of millennials. And you can really see that in her fashion. There is a maturity to her style but also a youthful and inspiring edge to her style as well. Her and Law are a dream team
It's easy to forget that Zendaya(as well as other former Disney stars) were on Disney since they have had a lot of opportunities for so long. I'm sure that because she's playing Ronnie Spector in an upcoming biopic about her, she might incorporate some 1960s aesthetics into her style in a way that Amy Winehouse and Zoey Deschanel did in the 2000s.
Zendaya and her team are doing it right. It reminds how rihanna and gaga use fashion to push their careers forward. Zendaya wearing that green and black dress at the bet award sold it for me. She ate that!!!!
I also feel that compared to other disney kids, zendaya had a support system and her parents set down roots which added to her being grounded. I like how she experiments with her style while remaining classy. She proved that she can be mature and separate from Disney without (hate to say it) looking vulgar. She also chose projects that can help show her as a serious actor but stayed true to who she is.
I’d love if you did one on Cardi B, she’s really been a fashion IT girl within the past couple of years. Her looks are iconic and she always looks on point.
Jlo a few years ago was to me what Zendaya is now. I Love her style. Her pink dress with roses at sag awards this year and her purple sari i saw a few days ago are absolutely gorgeous. I love fashion and she's a inspiration to me.

Okay but you looked stunning at the start! Zendaya is a fashion icon and the fact that she's achieved this status despite being this young is commendable honestly.
It’s sad how creative Gay people get dismissed in an industry they’re really passionate & amazing at by powerful straight people .. after contributing so much to that industry and making & doing things nobody has done before ..
