@@JustRideZipp2001 yes, and the rain is very character-building as well - especially a good soaking rain! I’ve ridden in more than a few of those preparing for my trip! Just a few more days and I’ll be on my way to CA!
I had the same problem. I don't own a cycling jacket or long cycling pants. Had the wind at my back all day, but when it was time to ride back to the car from Encore Boston, I literally didn't think I was gonna make it. So cold and then the wind was blowing right at me.
Bought my first race bike at Gamache's and raced under his shop colors for some races. I also severed with George Gamache organizing a Red Cross charity ride for several years. I made an offer on his shop when he was looking at selling but couldn't agree on a final price.
Oh I know all about the cold and wind, it's nearly the end of April, and I'm still riding around in winter cycling gear here in Liverpool, England 🏴🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

High winds while cycling is character-building! We’ve had TONS of those days in NJ this spring, I can relate!

I under dressed, so it took me half of my ride to warm up. My deep wheels just add to the fun in windy weather.
