Great video. I was hoping to see how you tied up the steering wheel so it didn't move, but it must have got edited out. A shop just quoted me an insane price for a new steering box. Their labor was reasonable, but they priced the box at 2400 bucks.. I'm thinking I may do this myself.
I use the seatbelt through the steering wheel and move the seat forward to latch the belt in to securely hold the steering wheel. Make sure you start with the wheels straight ahead. That’s a lot for a box , even the psc boxes are less than half that for what I believe to be higher quality.
I prefer not to just because Ive seen factory ones come loose on all brands torqued to spec especially if the truck is lifted. I make sure they are very tight with red locktite to make sure its not coming off by itself. At this point in my life ive replaced 100's over the last 10 years with 0 issues. The factory spec is 225ft.lbs per mitchell for a 2013 ram 3500

Did you torque the pitman arm to spec ?

Was the new box marked from the factory or did you make that
