If you think about how many of these games had been published by Sega... good memories and shows you yet again how good of a gaming company Sega actually is at least for the Arcades.
i played many of this games but you forgot to include some classic games like Wild Gunman and Duck Hunt, i think they are important because they paved the way to this type of interactive games. thank you for taking the time to add all this games and bring back such a beautiful memory.
You got a point, I was thinking of adding games like Duck Hunt and Point Blank, they're famous and most probably everyone played them at one time, they're just not my favorite, and they didn't form a strong memory with me, that's why I decided not to enlist them to the list. Plus, if I want to add more games, the video would get even longer. Thank you for your comment, glad you enjoyed the video 👍
@@TheingameDialogues oh man the arcade cab has a big platform with a giant gun mounted to it. The haptics on the thing were insane, it was such a core memory for my arcade days lmfao
I have read that Nippon Columbia is releasing a new light gun game for the Switch named Bang! Bang! Bandits! in Japan. This could be a sign that the genre will return.
@@jorgezaldivar3113 I heard that developing such games is difficult and take a lot of time, that's why companies stopped making it and focused more on the other genres, that...tbh.. became boring and repetitive. While indie companies are focusing on Metroidvania probably because it's within their limited budget. Hearing that there's a new light gun game is a very good news to me. Thank you
Oh boy, I'd love to have a Sinden light gun too. Write me back when you try it, i heard configuring it on the RetroArch is a nightmare. Cool suggestion, wondering how no one mentioned that I didn't enlist Terminator 2 lol
very nice top 20, I still have my PS2, Dreamcast and Wii to play light gun games, the era of arcade machines was magnificent I have a lot of memories of these games which marked me, I am a big fan of arcade games, My favorites light guns games : 20. Duck Hunt 19. Hogan's alley 18. Wild Gunman 17. Terminator 2: Judgment Day 16. Operation Tiger 15. Star Wars Trilogie 14. Poject Honed Owl 13. Death Crimson OX 12. Ghoul Panic 11. Point Blanc 10. L.A Machine Guns : Rage of the Machin 1. Virtua Cop 2 🎉🎉
The two Resident Evil lightgun games on the Wii, as well as Link's Crossbow Training, are surprisingly good, i just wish there were more of them released on the Wii outside of the 3 House Of The Dead games, although Overkill is probably one of the best games on the console!
Overkill is a great looking game tbh but nothing beats the two RE lightgun games. I've never enjoyed a game as much as I did when I played both of them.
I'm not really a fan of the Die Hard games, I just used to enjoy the shooter part in the first trilogy game, and I had to add the second one too, though trilogy 1 is 10x time better than the crappy viva las vegas

L.A. Machinegunners being absent hurts my soul but this was a fun watch for sure
I honestly never heard of it. Just checked it out, it really is interesting

@@TheingameDialogues You're welcome. And I agree, those people have been too lazy about it to make even decent games anymore.
very nice list, waiting for my sinden light gun and I am going to try them all. Very underrated title: Maze of the kings
Oh boy, I'd love to have a Sinden light gun too. Write me back when you try it, i heard configuring it on the RetroArch is a nightmare.

Gun4IR is better if you can afford.
Haunted museum is really fun too

Virtua Cop 2 🫂
Operation Wolf or Operation Thunderbolt should be on the list of top 10.They started the popularity of the light gun trend.
Amazing list! I used to love Silent Scope games
I remember playing SC 1 on the DC, great game it is
Holy shit I remember Under Fire! I must’ve been like 7 or 8 when I played that in the arcade. I thought it was hilarious back then lol.

great content. thank you
Thank you for watching
You missed Terminator Salvation, a brilliant arcade light gun shooter.
I'm still wanting for spacetrooer and Ghostbusters
I love Light Gun Rail Shooter!
Same, it's my favorite
Crisis Zone should be there as well.
True, i just forgot to add it 😞
The lost world and time crisis 2 might be goated
Omg I remember playing the house of the dead and virtua cop on the pc when i was young 😢❤
Memory unlocked 🥹
Time Crisis Saga is my favorite.
i love this list !!
Love all of them
What did you play police 911 on? Was it MAME, PCSX2, what?
Crisis Zone ?❤
oh boy, I forgot to add it. They're just too many games. My true list would make the video longer by another 20 minutes lol
you forgot the patitos ones (duck hunt) a classic ;b
My fav genre...imo, time crisis 3 is the best light gun game ever.
It is an amazing game, I had so much fun playing it back in the days
@@TheingameDialogues i didnt had it in my country, but time crisis 2 was, and i played ton of it. really great it was ported to ps2.
Amazing video. Check out the X-Gun. It will make playing Rail shooters more fun.
😮😮😮Like it woeeeww ❤❤❤ amazing video ❤ just go on 4ever thx ❤
thanks for this video it unforgettable memories ♥
You're welcome
I know it was cheesy as all hell but I really liked Project Revolution, I mean who doesn't like Aerosmith! 😭 "Dude looks like a lady!!"
No love for Railbreak 😂🤣
Felt Like after 09/08 the higher up he went the worse the games became.. lol
Elemental Gearbolt instead of one of the Die Hards
omg, i've never heard of it. Watching it's gameplay, I totally agree replacing it with the 2nd Die Hard game.
What fun are ya using? I’m assuming Gun4IR? Thanks
where is the sierra 7? isnt it an rail shooter (that's pretty cool)
I’m surprised I don’t see terminator salvation on here
Oh you mean Terminator 2: Judgement Day? tbh I didn't like it that much
No CarnEvil?
Hello friend, do you know any safe progam to force to resize a game?? I try to get sinden border on Ed Hunter - Iron Maiden.
No Operation G.H.O.S.T??
I have included the Ghost Squad at around minute 6:47
@@TheingameDialogues yes but operation ghost is different game... It's a sequel from ghost squad...
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
So this isn't the 20 best games but the 20 best franchises but either way, lumping in Die Hard Trilogy 2 with the first game is practically a crime.
I'm not really a fan of the Die Hard games, I just used to enjoy the shooter part in the first trilogy game, and I had to add the second one too, though trilogy 1 is 10x time better than the crappy viva las vegas
Was an emulator used? which?
😍😍
Where the heck is Star Fox?
Star Fox is a shmup, not a light gun
Mad dog mccree
You don't like Operation Wolf or Terminator 2? For shame! :)
