Magician was and is house of the dead but emperor and wheel of fate were so damm hard for me. Wheel of fate was the hardest boss ever in all the games. I beat him with the xbox controller not even the light gun. Not even years of typing in a cubicle could do the damge whell of fare did to me and gave me the worst carpel tunnel.
The developers of the remake didn't do it on purporse, they only did what they could. As the original composer Tatsuya refused to give license to remake their music or even accepted to collaborate.
The Magician never finished his body and what funnier is the incomplete parts are same in every games. It's like remastered the game with better graphics but the flaws still there😂

THOD Overkill Crawler and Lobber are the toughest bosses in the series even tougher than final bosses like 3's Wheel of Fate,. The final boss of Overkill was easy because of the minigun, but every other boss in that game was really challenging. Emperor in HOD 2 is the weakest final boss ever, his big read heart is so easy to shoot and his final attack the red heart just moves surrounded by blue orbs that doesn't even shield it and is so easy to kill, even HOD 2's Magician is weaker , in HOD 1 he had more health, needed more bullets was faster and his final attack he threw the fire balls upwards and you can't shoot him while shooting them and you had to shoot them all, in HOD 2 he throws them down, only the middle ones hit and you can shoot him and kill him quickly while he throws the fire balls. The only hard boss in HOD 2 was Strength the super fast and strong chainsaw boss. HOD 3 Wheel of Fate however is the toughest final boss but Overkill's Crawler and Lobber are the toughest bosses ever unless you use the minigun unlocked after beating the game once. The World in HOD 4 was great, his two phases was a cool concept.
