So happy that you are having raw vegans who are doing it from a nutritional standpoint. I absolutely love being a raw vegan, got rid of my breast cysts completely.

Thank you so much for having raw food advocates on your show. We need to see raw foodist who are doing it properly and in a healthy way! So many times we only hear about the extremist who are unhealthy and are guided by a existing eating disorder.

Wow! Both my worlds colliding. I’m an American married to a Brazilian so I put this Dr Eduardo on often since he has a clear way of explaining health in Portuguese…he’s the only one who has interested my husband in leaning more towards vegan, Whole plant Way of eating. Thanks for being so eclectic in your interviews.

This guy is fascinating! I’ve not herd of him before and I’ve been following the raw foodist for years. Then again the last 4 years I’ve not been on FB or IG. He sounds just as knowledgeable like John Rose.

I like raw food, but I definitely like my cooked WFPB food too. I live in southern Ontario Canada, so it is not that easy to get fruits like sapota etc. In the wintertime, a lot of our fruit is imported (mainly from Chile and Mexico and mainly not organic) but we do get a nice variety. I think going full raw would be expensive. Buying tubers and beans is cheap and a very satisfying part of a meal. I have a neighbor and friend who is a raw vegan but when she is at a potluck or a place where there is an abundance of food, she binges on all kinds of food, including cooked food and meat, she cannot help herself. I think it is because her body is screaming for calories! She is petite, thin and has osteoporosis. I think going raw is doable if you live in a tropical or warm climate year around and can eat all day even when working.

WFPB vegan is fantastic! No issues with that. I totally get you on the winter time tubers and squashes! Such amazing stuff.

Yes....when it's cold, amd less sun, the body needs different things and warm food. It wouldn't have to be coocked, but warm at least .

I am Brazilian too! I also follow Dr. Corassa even though I am not raw I still like his content. I feel bad for him though, Chef AJ was probably expecting more direct answers and Dr. Corassa went on and on around the answers 😅. Chef AJ, just FYI most Brazilians are very talkative but I think Dr. Corassa was trying to impress you with his knowledge 😁

I was on a Whole Food Plant Based Diet for 5 years before going High Raw. And I felt so much better eating WFPB than I did eating the SAD diet. There was no comparison as to how much better I felt. But when I started eating 80-90 % RAW I felt even better. And the RAW FOOD tastes so much better than the cooked food. After eating a Raw meal of usually one fruit I feel alive. I feel like someone turned a light on inside my body. I feel energized. But when I eat a cooked. WFPB meal I feel dead. You can literally feel that RAW LiVING food healing the inside of your body.

Nice to see Dr. Corassa in your interviews. I've done raw foods a few years and it was great but hard to maintain long term it takes commitment. For me fruit will always be the most optimal food for us it makes all the sense to me!

One option could be Dr Brooke Goldner’s HN smoothies for disease reversal. You could start there then adding zucchini, apples, blueberries, etc. Ive been doing it for 6 months andit has restored colon function and is repairing brain neurotransmitters. I eventually lost too much weight (my colon cant do much flax/chia yet)so added in cooked spaghetti squash and broccoli on my salad. Now trying to eat soaked raw oats, cooked and cooled peeled potatoes, wild rice. But i feel best on mostly raw and return to that when in a flare or have problems.
AJ has had Dr G on her show to give a listen. God bless your healing journey dear one.

Great interview. Thank you. Just a quick note: I think Dr. Corassa confuses religion with spirituality. Spirituality is actually scientific ... think quantum physics. I follow Dr. Corassa as well and enjoy learning a lot from him wrt Raw Living Foods Vegan. Vegan for ethics of course always.

It would be easier for an obese person to go RAW VEGAN than WFPB. The RAW Food taste better than cooked food. Fruits are the sweetest most delicious foods on the planet. And timid easier. On a WFPB Diet is a lot of work. You are constantly cooking and washing dishes, and looking for recipes. On a RAW Vegan diet you just eat the fruit and make salads.
