- Today I'll share some essential tips and tricks for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom players. Specifically, I'll discuss the best armor sets you need to get your hands on early in the TOTK. I'll cover the best DPS armor, Best Defensive armor and the best exploration armor for every situation. I'll also show you exactly where to find all these armor sets. Enjoy!

I got the deity set from the amiibo. I got them all relatively fast as well.

Early on, I think the soldier armor set is the best for defense. It is easy to find and easy to upgrade. The entire set can be found in the caves that connect lookout landing and Hyrule castle. One of my favorite and most useful armor sets in the game is the rubber armor set. Once you upgrade the rubber armor set twice, you will not have to remove metal weapons or shields during thunderstorms anymore because you will not take lightning damage. Also, electric based enemies will no longer shock you, so you won't take shock damage or drop your weapons or shields anymore. The only downside to the rubber armor set is that it is a pain to upgrade. I literally had to resort to save scrubbing to get all those lizalfos tails so I could bring the whole set to level 4.
For lighting just wear the lighting helmet
Actually the best overall defense set in the game should be the regular Soldier armor set. It should be way easier to upgrade than the Royal Guard set but has the same defense stat.
And you won't tell us where to get it??

Does the royal guard set still reduce stamina cost while jump climbing?

Please I need your help because I can't find a guide... You see when A upgrade the Twlight amiibo link armors to level 2 I get a Attack+ perk but this one have a Golden Star. My question here is this perk count like level 1 Attack+ or level 3? Please help me out

The froggy armor is definitely one of the most useful sets in the game.
Way easier solution for getting to the end of the cave for the Climber's Bandana (not including sticky elixirs since I have never encountered a single sticky frog and can never catch the sticky lizards):
There are trees right outside of the cave. Build two rafts and alternate between them to get one of the rafts to the very end of the water at the entrance of the cave. Then Major Hand two Zonai springs together on top of the raft.
You can shoot the sticky lizards with arrows, that’s the only way I ever catch them
@@lunabrightmoon This, or full stealth set. Just don't *run* while using it, walking around in it is basically crouch sneaking anyway.
Sticky frogs can be found on the walls in the canyon leading into kakariko village
i just run amber earrings, champion's leathers, and soldier's grieves. good def and looks nice
My man here knows the most important part of BotW/TotK, looking cool as hell.
I run the Soldiers Helmet Dyed Light Blue and Soldiers Graves Dyed Tan to match the Champions Tunic (Tunic of Memories). You get 84 Damage and a Master Sword buff where you can always throw your beam. It’s all about looks.
Completely about the looks. And most of the armor in totk I find ugly. Zonite armour is strong fully upgraded but I can't stand to travel around looking like that. Same with the aspect suit. Champions leathers, hylian hood, hylian trousers. Just fine.
I used to do amber earrings, champion’s leathers, and zonaite shin guards. Now I use Ancient Hero’s Aspect.
Phantom armor set is op attack up and 24 armor rating if you have the full set on

You can get it at any time, Just be mindful of the enemies :)

I love the glider set for sky exploration.
The Glider set is amazing, I use it all the time
for the slipery cave, just get some springs xD
The barbarian set is really easy to get and it's really good as well.

Untmate Set, Solder Graves and Helmet with the Tunic of Memories (Champions Tunic). 84 Damage and you can throw your Master Sword Beam whenever you want,
The phantom armor actually has a base of 8 per piece actually, it just can’t be upgraded so after you become stacked it sucks compared to barbarian or fierce diety
Solders Helmet and Graves with the Tunic of Memories is far superior than those two. 84 Damage instead of 60 and you can throw your Master Sword Beam whenever you want.
does the royal guard set get the same hidden benefits as botw?
No, Only Charge attack and you need to upgrade them to lvl 2
Champions Tunic (Tunic of Memories) still has the Master Sword Buff. I pair it with a Light Blue Dyed Soldiers Helmet and Tan Dyed Soldiers Graves. Best looking outfit in the game with 84 Damage and a Master Sword Buff.
Behind the boots is a good shield
Very vague, I literally couldn’t find the climbing legs. Had to go to another video “go to a cave west kinda west of Zoras domain”

Phantom armor has the most defense plus attack up
Problem is you can't upgrade it
The phantom armour has a higher attack without being upgraded, of 24 (I think it's the phantom 😅 )

Yiga armor, have it on all the time to collect items that fligh away from me
radient set is the best dps armor you can stack multipers on it and you do more damage with it then firce deity
royal guard armor doesnt have highest defense.

What I want to know is why is Link so weak? I have 10 hearts so far and armor that is all 3 defense at the moment. Looking at the "best" armor in the game with a defense of only 5 (2 more) what am I doing wrong?

Nice content bro, just a little tip, try not to speak so fast and be a little bit more specific with the locations by showing with decent time in the map, for example the sword.
The satori set because how sorta op it is you don't lose hearts but rupees so amiibo and duplication methods nake it easy

@@norzza true, I just use the hylian hood(down) and legs died black and think it looks nice. Could use the royal knight legs and hat for higher defense though
Yeah that’s true actually. I forgot there’s like two sets tied for best defense but I think I do recall there’s a way to mix and match to get slightly higher defense. But then you throw away any set benefits so tough call. Actually I’m not positive there’s much of anything for defense set bonuses so probably doesn’t matter much
Shows a big area of the map says it right here and doesn’t show how to get to the area just starts off climbing thru a hole

@@norzza Even maybe some arrows pointing or use that treasure chest image on the treasure location (because the game is so dark), and also maybe a very zoomed in look at the map at key locations, youtube UI kinda blocked the mini map and not too many details on medium quality is visible :) I do like your guide style and you get straight to the point too, keep doing what you are doing :)
Can you tell a few tip about the game?
I have the absolute worst time trying to find armor in this game idk. I found a few things early after release with dumb luck , but I have been making a concerted effort to find more and explore the caves but I just can’t find ‘em lol. I have only found 2 of those cherry blossom trees but that hasn’t helped much . Is there a trick I’m missing or am I just a moron ?

Bro that last sentence wth 😂 But yeah you’re fucked there is absolutely no consistent way to find armor well. You’re just gonna have to look up the locations online if you want specific sets. Otherwise you gotta deal with the mishmash of what you happen to find or put in the insane amounts of hours to search everywhere. You can look out for the special flags/tapestry that lead you to armor, if see em it’s somewhere in the cave just follow em
Just upgrade the First Armor you can Buy (Hylian Hood, Tunic, Pants) to 60 (4 Stars Each). There are only like 5-6 sets marginally better than it and you get it beginning of the game in Lookout Landing. Once the Underground Passage Opens up in the Bunker (after beating a Boss) it’s easy to get the Soldiers Armor it’s all together you just have to smash your way through a cave system under Hyrule Castle, it’s 84 Armor. That’s all you need. I used the Solders Helmet and Graves with the Tunic to Memories as it gives you a Master Sword Buff, but tou don’t need to do that. That requires finding all of the Beggers Statues in the Depths.
The Zonai Set is all in the three globes in the Sky. It’s fairly straight forward to find as well.

Would really be usefull if you didn't gloss over how to get places and where the location is. Video skips so fast and jumps locations.

@@norzza Just to counter the original comment here, I liked your approach. There are some things that I think I might want shortcuts to, but at the same time, I don't want to spoil the game (ridiculous, I know!). A video like this gives me enough information so that I can watch the video, not get any spoilers, and if I really want to find the things, I can just bring up the video on my phone. There will still be some exploration, some small bit of adventure and "where tf is it?!?!?". So I think you got it just right, for me at least.
Dude do a better job showing where stuff is on the map.
