Thanks for this tutorial! Could you perhaps do another “learning process” video, like where you learned how to do Jason Chen’s knee slide or a challenge video?
What a great video. Thanks for all the effort you put in to break this down for us. After doing basic backwards crossovers, we were shown a full three turn and asked to practice it. For me it was just too much to do all at once. Its great broken down, to build the skills further, specifically for the 3 turn. Thanks again. Your a star!
Like now, I completely understand why having a strong one foot glide is essential. My backward one foot glide is at about 60 percent. That remaining 40 percent is why I feel so uncomfortable in my backward edges.
I'm learning 3 turns now, love the way u teach in step by step, I will try to follow these, hopefully can get my 3 turns soon. One question, I noticed when u gliding on a curve or swizzle there's a ripping sound, it sounds cool, how to do it? Do u press it hard when u glide?
Today I started edge drills before trying step 7 for fwd inside outside straight line. It felt like sheding light on the way to the end. I feel excited. I'm toying with an idea to load a video showing my doing all the turns in your video. But I'm not sure if i will make it in 2 months, 6 months, a year .... Or how long... 😮 But the 1 foot turn on straight line felt effective....
In fact, I acquired the skills ol fwd o-i 3-turn directly in step 9; I never did step 8. This time, I gonna start with step 8. It is curious and exciting indeed. It is notable that in step 9, your backward 3-turn did not demand pivot on heels; you did it on both balls and heels together, and rotate on blades. It is amazing.
I’m teaching myself 3-turns, and I’m confused. How do you go backwards? For me, either I completely stop after I turn, or my body still wants to go forward but I try to go backwards and I end up spinning on one foot.
I don't see the flexion before to do the 3-turn. Everybody says "flexion" but nobody do the flexion. I also I see other people say up the heel and turn in the rocker. I don't understand.... :-(
I love how you break every element down to help build capacity to achieve the exercise. Thanks so much.
best instructional video for 3 turn-- you break down the basics needed first bfr you can do the 3 turn!

Thanks! That was so helpful!
Video request: can you please show us a day in the life or a morning routine video? 😄
Sparkle Skater, your three turns tutorial is very nice! Thank you for sharing! 🙂❤

Thank you! This is perfect, and just in time for my Adult 5 & 6. :)

your tutorials are amazing and thoughtful!!!
would be easier to look for them if you organize them into 1 playlist
Are there any benefits from having skates like yours with blades that are crossed like x’s rather than just blades with no crosses?
Not at this level. They are supposed to disperse forces when landing multi-turn jumps.

My name is Leon Chan. Chan is my last name, from Hong Kong.
Nice steps on how to do a three turn. Can you do a tutorial on how to do a back scratch spin?
Thanks! The turn is on the rocker correct?
For forward 3-turns it's on the ball of the foot. For backward 3-turns it's on the heel of the foot.
@@barbarab202 yes i finally understood that and my turns improved =D

Love ur vids
Szuper vagy! 🥰 Köszönöm!😉
I’m not sure why but I can only do my outside or inside forward three turns from a standstill but never while gliding
