Here's a few tips you might wanna take into heart for when you make a third video: -It's far better to mine the vanilla resources (copper, iron and uranium) off of other planets and ship it back to Navius then it is to expand the base each time you need more resources - while it's true that ingots have a smaller stack limit then plates (50 vs 100), you can put them in an assembler to turn 1 ingot into 10 plates, meaning that 1 cargo rocket full of ingots will carry 500000 plates. As for Uranium, just use delivery cannons after processing it. -There is no need for the complex system of steam boilers for keeping the water levels from overflowing. Just build a few electric boilers - they have an option to vent water, which removes it completely. Alternatively (at least on the Cryonite Planets) you could freeze it into water ice, and you could use the excess water on other planets to keep nuclear reactors cooled.

im here to tell you that it wasnt t the author of the waterfill mod who made it so that you cant destroy things with it, it was the space exploration mod author. I downloaded waterfill before i downloaded space exploration so when i first tried to do what they did, it worked then i downloaded space exploration and then it didnt work.
I really like the feel, graphics and artstyle of Factorio in a way that makes it look like you're playing an old timey RTS like C&C or Dune 2000 but as a single character which is something i wanted way back when playing those games. But i couldn't really get into it, the scale of things is too big for me and kinda complex feeling So thanks for scratching my Factorio itch again, great vid
factorio is only at as big of a scale as you make it, and there's no wrong way of playing it of course you start small, and eventually you figure out how to build bigger (hint, copypasting builds works great)

@@MortSalazar Don't try to play it on the scale that they do. These guys are seasoned vets. Just set small goals and go for them. Don't worry about having a big, optimized, and automated factory, and don't be afraid to do some manual busy work at the start. Start with a single drill and furnace, and do some crafting manually, or hauling fuel. As you get sick of doing it by hand, you can start trying to figure out how to automate, say, hauling iron to the furnace, and then later automate refueling them, without worrying what the best way to do it is. Those are examples of small, easily achievable goals. That's what you want to start with.

I really like the feel, graphics and artstyle of Factorio in a way that makes it look like you're playing an old timey RTS like C&C or Dune 2000 but as a single character which is something i wanted way back when playing those games.
But i couldn't really get into it, the scale of things is too big for me and kinda complex feeling
So thanks for scratching my Factorio itch again, great vid

factorio is only at as big of a scale as you make it, and there's no wrong way of playing it
of course you start small, and eventually you figure out how to build bigger (hint, copypasting builds works great)

@@MortSalazar Don't try to play it on the scale that they do. These guys are seasoned vets. Just set small goals and go for them.
Don't worry about having a big, optimized, and automated factory, and don't be afraid to do some manual busy work at the start. Start with a single drill and furnace, and do some crafting manually, or hauling fuel.
As you get sick of doing it by hand, you can start trying to figure out how to automate, say, hauling iron to the furnace, and then later automate refueling them, without worrying what the best way to do it is.
Those are examples of small, easily achievable goals. That's what you want to start with.
