Yay! Album reactions! The bondage scenes seem to fit in with a major theme in all of DCs story arcs and lore, which is to stand up for yourself and be your authentic self. Even if the rest of the world tries to hold you back or put limits on you, break those walls down and move forward. They even have a song called Break the Wall that really encapsulates that feeling. I'd say a good 30% or more of their discography revolves around those themes. My guess is that it's such a big part of their music because they've had to face obstacle after obstacle to get to where they are and they've done it without compromising who they are or what they stand for. They all take great pride in their unique sound and several have said it's the best compliment they could receive. That intro is gorgeous. It really takes you on a journey. The fans have been asking for a longer intro for a long time and they finally gave us one. Where Justice feels like the preparation for a battle, drawing battle lines and making a stand, Stomp feels like the battle song. We're in the middle of the fight here as they Stomp forward pushing against the enemy. This song would be great as a League of Legends worlds song or something along those lines. 2 Rings is so good. They were really feeling themselves on this song lol. 2 Rings is supposedly a slang term for a motorcycle and the lyrics seem to reinforce that. I think the metaphor is supposed to represent freedom and continuously moving forward, even recklessly, in pursuit of your dreams. This was in contention to be the title track with Justice. Fireflies is a gorgeous ballad. The two and three part harmonies, the Acapella ending, its beautiful. These are typically for the fans and for each other. They usually have a ballad-like song on each album. Siyeon is the main vocalist. She was on Hiatus for the promotions due to health reasons and Sua and Handong covered her parts in the live showcase versions. They really are all great vocalists and they're always working on improving and growing even though we're coming up on year 8. This EP is much more rock focused than most of their EPs. I definitely think you should go back to their debut and work your way through their discography. They're easily the most diverse group, genre wise, I've ever come across, not just in KPop.
27:15 I thought I'd mention that Siyeon IS the main vocalist, but she wasn't the member singing the high notes in the second chorus of Fireflies. The actual distribution was Handong on the low notes, Jiu on the middle harmony, and Yoohyeon comes in with the high notes. Anyway, loved your video~ this is one of my fave releases from them❤
I won't know how different people define "best" album ever... but no matter how you cut it Justice is way up there. Stomp is a "grab life by the balls!!" song and quickly becoming one of my favorites from them. Abcatcher from the 2 Rings Showcase is DEADLY, but as far as vocals being as good as the studio version I bet you couldn't tell who was covering the main vocal's parts with Siyeon out. Being tied with ropes or chains is a visual metaphor for the things holding you back. Since they have A LOT of songs about overcoming obstacles the visual metaphor has cropped up a few times. There's no "bondage" thing in that way. As far as harmonies I think you'll like a cover Dami and Yoohyeon did recently a song called Love Me Or Leave Me.

main vocalist is siyeon but all 7 of them are amazing vocalist but siyeon and yoohyeon are one of the best vocalist in the industry
