You know what ? Naysayers aside, that was awesome. It was very simple, positive and hopeful, and encouraged women to think outside the confining boxes they may have created for themselves. Dating is a journey of self-discovery, not a mad dash to the finish line, and as such, it can be incredibly painful and disheartening, filled with icky life lessons, especially for the most sincere among us.
There is a lot of bitterness floating around aimed at women who just want to co-create something mutually fulfilling and beneficial with another compatible human being. I really appreciate those who go out of their way to encourage and bring hope and positivity in the face of something that at times seems hopeless.
    Go, Carrie Parker !
And for those of you sincerely and respectfully dating, you have my full support !

Watching this gal made me realize that my best chances for meeting a long term partner had not been through online dating sites, but it is true some folks have. Keep up the good work there Miss !

There's a lot of "are they the right person for me" and not a lot of "what can I do to make myself a better fit for more people so I can have more options"

What is she trying to say? Lower your expectations?
Can someone please summarize this video?

After being passed around for more than 10 years, what kind of man do you expect to settle? Not the guys you wanted in your best years.

Average person dates 12 people before marriage... so far only 1 for me sounds like it'll be home run after home run soon

even though this lady is still single, I think she makes a lot of good points... As a male, I actually agree with everything she's saying however, like her I am in my 30s (37) and still single. I think in the same sensible way she does, but I feel like the majority of people in society don't think in this sensible way, and that's why like her, we are both single.
I feel like women have way too many choices in online dating and they take it as if they're shopping for shoes and trying to find the perfect pair, when in reality there is no Perfect Mate and a man is not meant to fit into some make-believe ideal mold a woman has created for herself and by what her girlfriends think makes a good man.
women today are extremely entitled and have a huge laundry list of Demands and they never stop to think if they are offering as much as they are demanding. A lot of women don't think, " well do I have all these qualities I'm asking in my partner?"
between stupid girl chick flicks and unrealistic shows like sex and the city/ Kardashians and BS songs from crazy artists like Taylor Swift, women's heads are totally messed up these days.
and any woman who is anywhere between 5 ft - 5'6 and asking for a man that's over 6ft, you all deserve to be single for the rest of your life. just because a man is tall doesn't mean he's going to protect you or that the relationship is going to work... seriously you're grown ass women, as an adult, that's how rational your brain thinks! come on.
women need to stop their checklist BS and realize they are not all as great as they think they are and become more realistic about what they have to offer and take a general interest in anyone that shows a good personality and is reasonably attractive. also if you want full independence then women should also take it upon themselves to initiate contact with a man or ask him out, or even -wait for it.... cover the bill or pay for half... wow what a shocker huh! men have bills too and just because we have a penis doesn't mean that we're supposed to give you a free ride on every date. you are there for the same reason as us men, to meet someone for the purpose of a relationship so why does the bill always have to be one sided.
Society needs to seriously pull its head out of its misguided ass and women need to open up their eyes and stop pretending each one of them is a princess... this is no Disney movie and you are not Cinderella! also, just because you have a long list of guys that want to sleep with you, doesn't mean all those guys also want to spend the rest of their life with you.

Atul Lall well-meaning friends tell me not to have a check list. I have a degree, it's ok for me to want someone with a degree. I'm 5'3, everyone is taller than me. I don't have hair or eye colour preferences. No hair is fine. I don't expect to date someone out of my league physically, like glowing skin, shiny hair, rippling muscles, as I don't put as much effort into my appearance, nor my fitness. But I don't want to date someone obese or heavier, with unhealthy habits they aren't trying to change.
Online dating gives you exposure to a disproportionate number of weird people who you'd never give the time of day in real life, even just socially. Selfish, demanding, cultish, unstable. I think it can make it all seem too hard and make people want to give up. But if you're like 1% of people, and you're looking for someone in 1% of people, it just means that you're both having to do a lot of filtering to find each other. I'm still confident I'll find someone suitable.

Atul Lall haha you have a lot of stereotype thoughts about women; My opinion: a good first step for a man or woman in seeking a partner is to be open-minded, to not pre-judge, and to not be pre-disposed that ‘all women’ or ‘all men’ are a certain way

Atul Lall Yep. The women are getting triggered and posting angry comments. I was married for 25 years. The ex started an affair and filed for divorce. Now I am single and MGTOW. Totally focused on my health Investments and business. Never been happier.

@@Tipster49 I don't think he said that. He is specifically talking about women whom are cultured to behave a certain way. It hurts the women at the end because they can't find what she is looking for because of all the conditioning she went through does not match for her. Obviously, There are many women from different cultures who think differently. That's not stereotyping women. He is just pointing out a perspective and is quite accurate about it too.

@victoria zabaras I don't see greed. I see a similar example from my perspective too. It's a conditioning problem that we are learning about.

Never said any such thing and it is interesting that you provide such a irrational and aggressive perspective. . My point is that women tend to overvalue themselves in many cases and then wonder why they find dating frustrating. Men are often equally delusional.

@victoria zabaras You are assuming that all men think they are Mercedes. Most men know they are not. That is the key difference. Most every woman has been conditioned to believe they are a princess/queen. No one is conditioning men to think this way, so most men are well aware of their actual value. This realistic understanding of our value drives us to improve ourselves. Many women on the other hand prefer to take the lazy path and adopt the naive notion that "My dream guy should adore me just as I am". So, many women don't make the effort to improve themselves, yet still expect to land a man who has worked hard to build himself up.

She seems nice but needs to make some lifestyle changes that will result in her being and looking more fit as she is overweight and never had kids before.
I can only imagine her in 20 years from now with 3 kids with additional 50 pounds extra. I would say the same if it was a dude who was overweight... take care of yourself and appearance.
