2016 nissan rogue would start and turn off if i didnt put it on R or D right away. Maf code came up switched it but check engine light didnt turn off. After a couple days its starting to do it again any idea thanks for the help liked and subscribed
Hello I have a problem with my 2014 Nissan Rogue. When I'm driving slowly between 30 and 40 miles per hour, it starts to vibrate, but when I go faster it never vibrates. I'm worried it's the automatic transmission. and could it be a sensor? the vehicle is front wheel drive.
Welll vibration could be lot of things but from what ur telling me it can be bad engine mount have mechanic check mount it out. When ur driving fast u are firing engine to push and it yanks on mount so they r held in place when ur driving slow and ur not pushing on gas peddle it will just sit there and vibrate with bad engine mounts that could be a possibility
I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue, I am getting P0101, however I also changed my tires to brand new Weatherpeaks. For some reason, the tire seems to be skidding even on dry surfaces. The ESC light come on when it skids for a milli second or so and then goes off. Been noticing that a lot uplately. Do you know what can be done?
Got the check engine light for Mass Air Flow fault and got it replaced. 500 miles later it came on again and went away on its own. Time passed without issue and the other day driving up a hill the light came on and “limped” our car along. got the fault reset and drove normally, now the light is on again. what do i do?
It might be electric issue in the circuit of that sensor or faulty sensor going up him somthing such as dirt or debri could had played role u can try cleaning.
Hello I replaced my 2011 Nissan rogue mass airflow sensor , my engine light came on so I checked what I could and took it to auto part store and the code reads plausible air flow sensor do I have more than one ?
It only Got one reset the code using scan tool and also if u bought refurbished sensor that’s no good autozone sensor no good after all if u put in good sensor and reset the light if it still comes on then u might need ecm software update. I had similar issue change sensor cleaner reset 2 times light kept comming back then sent to dealer they updated the software and it was good
@@RBTheMechanic Do I have more than 1 sensor I replaced that 3 mos ago and engine light just came on yesterday so I thought it was something else and checked all the stuff the car manual said and drove it pretty good and then went to auto store and it said plausible air flow ?🤨
@@christybass5707 try one more attempt reset it if it come back it can be need of ecm update of software but like I mentioned some times it could be bad defective sensor
It has been happen to me too. I change two times original nissan part sensor and light sensor come back. So ecm software update is made only in nissan dealers?
Well I have replaced these sensors from autozone that customer purchased light comes back and then I ended up buying new one better one from my local part store I have issues where it just never got fixed due to the ecm needed update
No it didn’t come back but prior to this I had cleaned which passed inspection and light popes up and several months the I replaced it as I can see in this video

@@Marquan1988 honestly I would return the sensor u put it. Try to get brandddd spanking new sensor … no rebuild reman. Hook it up reset the light then hook up scan tool see if u got tem reading other wise it is possibility that the computer may need software update or replacing it’s is one issue with these MAF sensor codes with these nissans
@@RBTheMechanic first I appreciate you taking the time to respond sir. Second, the MAF sensor is brand new hitachi, the original if I’m not mistaken. I believe it’s the wiring but my main thing is getting it to pass inspection. I’m in jersey too

The dealership told me a regular mechanic can't clear the code properly after this is done & that I need to bring it to them to have the computer reset the right way. Is this true or are they trying to get my money lol
They do update on ECU it’s a defect some cars u clean sensor and put it back some u replace and we reset and it works. Some cars have issue the computer needs up date so it is true just not the clearing part they should do recall and do update for free they call it flash the ecu

Did you have to flash that vehicle afterwards, Nissan said it’s a must otherwise the vehicle will run the same.
No but I had one or 2 with same issue they needed to be flashed

Change out the sensor and clean out the throttle body throttle could be the issue but cleaning it might help try that first

Check ur brakes or ur braking tooo hard

Sorry I might of misunderstood it was a new mass airflow sensor and they reset code with machine

How do I reset the Powertrain light once I've replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor?
U can do it with scan tool or take out the battery for 5 minutes. It will reset everything

AND YOU HAVE TO REPROGRAM THE COMPUTER AND DELETE THE CODE. IT IS NOT JUST TO CHANGE IT.

Getting codes p0101, p0335, and p0113. Changed the MAF and crankshaft sensors. Light still on, I’m lost!
The p0113 is for intake temp sensor could be fault maf sensor
@@RBTheMechanic this is driving me crazy replaced that twice. Dealer said something with the wiring, which will cost over $3500.
