What about fasteners? Sandpaper? Putty? Shipping? Crating? Glue? Taxes? Stain brush? Rags? Masking materials? Clean up? Saw blades? Why do none of these content creators have a clue? Maybe use that profit to buy one
Most of these are multiple use things, saw blades, sandpaper (sometimes), putty, glue, stain brush, rags, and masking materials. If you add up the used and decide the cost by that many times for each item you get a few dollars to a few cents. Shipping can be pricy or you can do pickup. Time, you’re still making $85 profit, I’m sure some of that makes up for time.
UA-cam math. Time and taxes are always missing from these youtube equations. Did you spend time taking photos and posting on social media? Did you pay seller or transaction fees? In youtube land you just make something and someone magically buys it for 85% profit. It doesn’t work like that.
I'm not a rocket scientist, but has anyone ever pullet a paĺlet apart? No easy way with brittle, seasoned wood shattering and splitting, not knowing what species (lots of scrap oak and hickory, let alone elm) you're dealing with, and then the crappy nails! Personally, I feel THAT thousand would be a hard-earned one!
Time cost more than $15 if you care about putting out the best product you can and not just bamboozling someone with some garbage that has your name tied to it. Anytime I make a piece of furniture for someone I’d choose giving them the most high end product my skills can provide over profit and that will build a reputation and clients that will make more money in the long run.
In my opinion this is the only guy telling the truth about making 1000 💸 a month unlike all these youtubers and social media influencers selling a fake business talking about making six figures a month.
@tmbrmantv do you sell your stuff on marketplace, your own website? Are you responsible for shipping? How does that work please? As a woman I'm nervous about stranger danger (after being hurt multiple times over the years).

Not thats not true thats if you don't value your own time. So having a full time job plus working on these isn't true. I would charge myself 15 an hour for work like that , so 30$ you made a 70$ profit,
He said sell 12 and pocket around $1000. If it takes you three hours per table, and you make 12 tables (36hours per month) for the $1000, that is paying you approximately $28 per hour for your work. Not sure what you were talking about, but those are the numbers.
I think I know what video you’re talking about. It means, that you don’t need social media, or a well known account to actually make money through Etsy. He made a new account, that no one knew it was him, yet he was still able to make money. Hope this helps. If you don’t understand, if you let me know your language, I may be able to explain more clearly.
Making $1000 has little to do with your woodworking skills and cost. It's about marketing your store which you deliberately didnt cover. Do you make $1000/mo on yourube because you know how to use the camera on your phone?

Let's not forget the most important one... Time.

Thanks for keeping it REAL. These channels are merely clickbaits
True, but to be fair, he did say NET profit.
@@mikec6566yes he literally says that
😂😂😂 exactly
lol you pay taxes on your side hustle? I don’t remember the government building those projects with me.
Can you make a video on how to make it I can’t see it very well and I would like to see the full process
Nice advice. Want to make 100k, just sell something that costs 10k 10 times. Easy peasy
Lemon squezy

Agree 100% dealing with pallets its really a pain in the ass. But it's fun tho

Thanks for the motivation😊
Um. Who’s going to pay the shipping on this online pallet sale? That would cost more than the total sale.
In my opinion this is the only guy telling the truth about making 1000 💸 a month unlike all these youtubers and social media influencers selling a fake business talking about making six figures a month.
The only problem is that not very many people are actually serious about buying online so you’ll most likely have it for awhile
15$ pallet materials to put legs on what wil shipping cost???😢
I started my own dining table making today, what are good stains for the top
I use provincial 211 on alot of mine I build
@@mtpestcontrolmattdavis5400 thanks brother
And what if you dont use the internet, how do you sell it then?
How much is the shipping cost for a shipping crate with legs?
It took me a few years to figure it out but tools, driving plus delivery, nails, cheap lumber, all are expenses that take off bottom line.
@tmbrmantv do you sell your stuff on marketplace, your own website? Are you responsible for shipping? How does that work please? As a woman I'm nervous about stranger danger (after being hurt multiple times over the years).
And to think i caint even sell a cutting board for 20$...... Guess all i needed was a pallet.....
Yeah you forgetting the 6-7 hours you put into making the pallets into a usable smooth surface
Yes but in how long time you make one 100 ..2 hours work how much you make 😅
You might be able to earn a hundo or more from pallet wood, but thats about as far as its going to go.
I sal like to do it
£4-500 thicknesser/jointer
£200 orbital sander

£1000 table saw

£350 router
£60 router bits
£? paint

I spent less than 500 on a good set of Japanese handsaws, a hand planer and chisels
Drill, saw, sandpaper

Everyone and their mother is doing this. To ship that would cost be x2 what you. A simple pallet table isn't going to sell like that.
Is profit calculation is a joke ?
Hello, what are the tools needed? I want to get into wood craft but don’t know one thing about it
Saw, wood clamps, drill, drill bits, sandpaper, tape measure (optional ) flat surface.

I sorry but wood got way more expensive and the pofit isn't great

I can’t imagine selling 1 let alone 10 of these tables… unless you have a huge UA-cam following or something it ain’t happening sorry
