Nice video, thanks for the info! Just did my oil today, tomorrow I will tackle this after seeing your video! Well I may order that pump you have for my Honda gear oil to make it easier. Appreciate the lesson.
Good no nonsense direct video thank you!
Nice rancher man.... you'd hate to see what one looks like that's been in the swamps! Typically the rear diffs that take it water first, maintenance is key but it's the water and mud that get them with that said the front diffs hardly ever go bad or wear out for some reason! Even in mud and water
Yes, I must have a different model. I don’t have that front differential fluid location.
Man you make the best videos! Where do you get your crush washers?
Thanks. I just get an assortment pack off of amazon.
There is a link on the description for them if it still works...
Thanks! The crush washers you get, are they all the same size?
No it was an assortment of sizes.
Thanks for all the info! Subscribed!
I thought u suspusef to put more oil in it
Just until it comes out that small hole.
A pan from the kitchen!! You must be single. My wife would give me a ton of crop if I did that. Lol
Im not single, my wife just doesn't know I have that pan in the garage! 😄
What kind of fluids are using
The manual calls for 80 weight gear oil, but I used amsoil atv differential fluid. (Basically a gear oil. )
@@Whitestrash Awesome man, glad I read the comments cause I was curious about Amsoil differential fluid! Does the Amsoil hold up better than OEM? Can you tell a difference in any way?
I can't say i notice a difference. But I'd bet that almost any reputable synthetic would outlast the oem fluid. Honda does not make any of their fluids, they have someone else make it to their specs. Cost is likely a bigger factor than quality to any oem.
@@Whitestrash Very true! Thanks man. I wondered myself who is making Honda’s oils. Guarantee it’s some common name like Valvoline or Lucas, but who knows. Amsoil gives me piece of mind, so I’ll stick to it. Lol! I’m going to try their engine oil on the next round as well. Just bought a 2017 Rancher and a 2017 Recon for the wife and I. We’re stoked!!
