As somebody living in the usvi, im pretty sure you mean hurricane parties where everybody gets wasted and nobody really cares if they lose a roof. I say this as an Irma and Maria survivor who went over 7 months w/out electricity
Born and raised. When my sister and I were kids we used to go over to my Uncles house ( he had shutters and camping gear ) and it was like an adventure . Now as a senior it's just a big pain in the butt.
This reminds me so much of my dad. He would sit staring out the window just waiting for enough snow on the ground to start blowing. He would go down the entire block blowing a path for the mailman, do our neighbor ladies driveway and if the plows hadn't come he'd start on the street. It was hilarious to watch but he loved it
I grew up in the buckle of the snowbelt in central NY. 5-8 inches is a dusting. We would get 3-5 FEET in a day. I now live in the Mohawk Valley, we get a dusting and they close school. It makes me laugh every time.
We live in Estes Park and totally relate to this. My husband is like this, getting all his plow trucks and guys ready for their plow routes.... then we get NOTHING. Colorado weather for ya. The ending 😂🤣
I appreciate this video coming when we're just about to lose all the snow from the second winter and just before we're about to hit false spring for the next 4-5 days.
lol That rainbow-mountain sausage-suit is HYSTERICAL! lol PLEASE tell me you go out on the driveway irl and blow snow in that suit, brightening up your neighbor's day. lol Love the diss to the Texans on the school board, exaggerating as they LOVE to do. LOL (native Texan here, in Cali since '97)
As soon as you said, in the grocery store, how much snow was predicted I knew there was going to be a...reference. You killed it, Taylor! hahahahhahahahaha "It's gonna SNOW!!!" Me every storm. Yes.
@@DudeDad my husband helps grow and builds websites for rental companies especially in Colorado , so I’m going to have him reach out to that company and see if they want to work with his company!
Welcome to Colorado. We don't really believe the weather report here. I'm a native... they're getting better at predicting, maybe 50% right on a good year.
@@amymihaly765 99% of the time I don't even bother to look at the forecast. The weather's going to do what it's going to do and I'm just along for the ride. LOL When they canceled school I did expect that we'd get some kind of accumulation, though, so I was disappointed when there was nothing worth mentioning.
Love the snow onzie also the best line is “That’s what happens when they let Texans on the school board!” I mean that’s not enough for a snow day ❄️#winter! Especially here in Michigan or somewhere like Colorado! Taylor and I know when there’s school closing snow, at least 4-5”!! 😅Best line in the whole thing “This is what happens when you let Texans on the school board!” 😂 I can relate as my former school district Superintendent is from Florida and closes school at almost nothing but we are in Michigan! ❄️ 🥶 😂 Great vid as always Taylor and sick ATV!!! I also love the #teamtoro electric snowblower, I’m so that guy that says to my neighbors, “Well if you wanted to snowblower you should’ve got up earlier!” 😊😊
When I lived in NE, I would have gladly let you snowblow my sidewalk and driveway. I had to do it and had wet, frozen hair with icicles and mascara running down my face.
This video reminded me of my father who's in his mid-to-late sixties that man loves the snow and he still gets excited and he has grandchildren and he still gets he gets way too into the snow here in Buffalo I ain't lived over here for 40 years he came from Detroit and they didn't get that much now like we do in Buffalo😂
Oh this is hilarious. My reaction in Minnesota is this as today was in fact the first snow of the year. *wakes up* "Ah, it's snowing. That looks pretty" *makes breakfast and goes to work*
😱 Omgoodness this was FANTASTIC! I’m in Florida and I haven’t seen snow in years and I miss it so much! I can’t wait to move back to where there’s four seasons, and I don’t care where that is!
Um, that’s more snow than we get in North TX and school/work are definitely closed. I thought when he opened the garage door that there wouldn’t be ANY snow-that’s what happens down here! I appreciate the comment about Texans on the school board 😂
I grew up in the mountains where it would regularly snow a few feet at a time even on my birthday in July. But I have also lived in Texas for 20 years so I feel them closing things for 1 inch of snow and it made me laugh so hard.
I live in Oregon, and let me tell you, we were not ready for that snow. I am a senior in high school, and last week I only had 1 day of school. I am telling you, on the day that we had snow, my town was empty. It was like a ghost town.
My dad would hear there'd be a snow storm and he'd laugh and say "if you get lost in the snow, just remember to tunnel your way back home." Lol plus, we had a wood stove for heating and he would go through major wood cutting mode to make sure we had wood.
"Don't let go, unless you're gonna hit a car, then let go", that's solid fatherly advice that stands the test of time.
I’ve lived my entire life in Florida. Instead of fun snow days we get hurricane days where we all stay home and pray we don’t lose our roof.

I love Heidi’s reaction, “Ok”, and just walks away.
She’s so dramatic
Yeah, Heidi is the real star of this channel! OK, both of them were funny. (But Heidi really sells it. EVERY. TIME. )
LOL...sure wish I had your energy! ☃️
8" of snow... Pfft... Gotta get those rookie numbers up.
Love from Canada.
Taylor, you’re the best dad EVER! I wanna meet your kids in 20 years and see what incredible people are having grown up with a dad like you! 😀
You did the neighbor's driveway and sidewalk! That's some Midwest nice you got going on right there. 🤣💗

On another note there was never a better last line in a video.

I still live in the snow belt, it's been a pretty mild winter for us all things considered.
Haha 😄 it's only an inch and a half, lol! I get it! Born and raised in NY, I feel the same way when Indiana gets a "snow day" 🤦♀️
LMAO, I panic pre salt for sure... front of the house faces north.
its critical!
You DO want the crockpots though! 😂 Nothing like a nice soup on a cold snowy day!
Truths
Ours was a nice pot of hot chocolate, or if near christmas, a pot of hot apple cider.
Riding behind a four wheeler in the snow on a trash can lid!!! So much fun 🎉 🎉
The ball perfectly bouncing off the shovel at 00:46 got me.
