I absolutely LOVE cold, calm nights with fresh snow on the ground and a full moon ❤
You're speakin' my language!!!!! Lol!!! Winter haters just don't get it!!!
Winter is the best!
Those real cold full moon nights make the snow sparkle like diamonds, beautiful.
@@paulh7589 ...and if you go out at night while the sparkles gently blanket everything, and the neighborhood is asleep, it's like serenity...so calm, so beautiful, simply peaceful...(winter haters just don't understand😉).
When it’s snowing so good that it just muffles all the noise in the area, that’s the best
There is nothing as satisfying as firing up the blower to plow through a fuck ton of snow from a storm
I don't mind the snow. Sub-zero for two weeks straight, that sucks beyond description.
The only thing worse than sub-zero for two weeks straight would be three days above 100 degrees F. Or freezing rain and black ice when you absolutely have to drive somewhere.
@@Tina06019 I've experienced all that, and I disagree
I hate them both.
Haha, big snowstorm, and then couple of inches here and there every week with tempretures well below freezing is literally my dream vacation place
@@Tina06019 No.
The shovel getting stuck and falling over happens way to often and I love winter
Grew up in the Midwest, hated the snow. Lived in Arizona for about 15 yrs and moved back. Now I’m the snow lover.
Yeah there's snow place like home! I to also live in the Midwest
I did that snow shit in the upper plains near Canada for 34 years and I am officially done. I’m in Louisiana now and the Spanish moss greets me just like snow caked Christmas trees with 65 degree weather in January. Fishing in winter without gloves while watching a beach sunset yes please
We got "hammered" with snow for two days on a weekend here in the Seattle area two weeks ago. Me.. I grabbed my mountaineering tent and headed outside into the snow at 10pm. The wind was howling and it snowed all night long. I loved being out there, it felt like being on the side of Rainier. It snowed the entire next day and I slept outside the second night too. That night.. It was so still and silent outside. So peaceful. My wife and our friends all wondered why I would do that. Easy explanation.. Getting an opportunity to try out gear to see what works and what doesn't before getting onto the side of a mountain to figure it out is priceless to me. I Love being out in the snow.
They don't understand our kind...😉
My favorite part is near the end where he says, "he's lived here for way too long."
My husband will snow blow the whole block if someone asked him to
My next door neighbor does it without being asked! He says he enjoys it.
Just his block? Cuz I got a request.
@@brittsaunders4621 Boys and toys!!🤔🇨🇦💖✌
Oh, and don't forget to snowblow or shovel around your closest fire hydrant, because you're not done until that area is clear!!!! Lol!!!
I have an old neighbor lady, who's at least 75 and barely any taller than her big snow blower, and she'll manhandle that thing clear around the block at her own will.
Dude I feel so appreciated I love how his second thing was “cross country skiing?” Instead of the garbage that is alpine skiing CHARLIE FOR LIFE
“The classic” is going outside in shorts and t-shirt for a short amount of time and cleaning off the cars and shoveling real quick.
Haha I love that they jumped the car with the blower 🤣🤣🤣 I wanna know how many people would actually think that's possible.
I've done that shovel stomach jam soooo many times😂😂 Ouch, but 😂😂

Evidently, Dude Dad already forgot about the winter training he learned from Charlie last week. I went for a jog yesterday when it was 30f in shorts and a T-shirt. I am Charlie for sure.

1:06, I can relate. This is my childhood shoveling snow from walks and drives torn up by tree roots and decades of not resurfacing, and an occasional porch where the nail heads are not flush with the deck.

it only takes me 'til Jan. 2nd
I'm a hater when I see the first snow flake.
This year i loved it longer because the kids had some good sledding weather
i stay a snow lover all the way through, although by april you'd figure it'd stop snowing and youre waiting for tshirt weather, but thats the midwest for you

I just love this; thank you so much from a Winter Hater who moved back to snowy Pennsylvania from Florida some years ago! Yep, I know, it was nutzzz to do that!

It was 35+ degrees in central coastal WI for the past 3 days & my hoodie is starting to feel hot, heavy & bothersome. I've been in WI for 10 years & I love the cold. I'm never going back to S. Calif. Never. Three days in WI & I thought, "Oh, THIS is where I should have grown up. Now I get it." ❤
Thanks for the likes. I was excited yesterday, because I was able to hose the salt off my van. I have the sickness. I guess Wisconsin kidnapped another one. Take care. 😃
Oh yeah! and you tell people back in Cali how 17 degrees is nice. If its sunny, its not a bad day for a walk. They haven't tried it but they think you are crazy.
@@morningeml8176 It was 28°F on Monday and no coat or mittens were needed. It was sunny and no wind! GORGEOUS!!!!! People were smiling!!!!
New title: Californian vs. Midwesterner
Ever heard of the Sierra Nevada’s?
@@M80Ball yes. That's where we visit winter for the day. Then return to the valley and feel like we love the cold.
as a californian who moved to the midwest, can confirm
It snowed the first time today, I went for a night walk in the woods! I saw a deer and 2 coyotes. In the morning, I was alone and literally commented on the fresh air as soon as I was outside, and thought about how great it was that it snowed throughout the entire day. So happy, now I see this video. Lol. It seems as if Minnesota is the Canadian state. All his cultural satire is interchangeable with us in the North!
You forgot to put two tree beers in da snow as rewards.
Definitely doing that from now on when im off work and gotta shovel/ snowblower the driveway.
I love when it snows. I love watching the snowfall and it’s so quiet afterwards. I love the the sound your boots make in the snow and the way the trees looks covered in snow. However I live in North Carolina so we don’t get snow that often but I enjoy it when we do get it. ❄️
That is my wife here in Texas I loved the brisk weather last week miss my ice fishing
Would have thought you would be an Ariens guy... but as a Minnesotan I think your support for Toro is admirable! Keep it up! Best channel on youtube thank you!!!
Grew up a hater, but slowly turning into a tolerator...I fear that one day I may become a lover
I grew up in New England, as a snow hater.
Moved out to Hawaii for 5 years.
Moved back to New England.
Now a snow liker, but a 4 seasons lover 🙂
Yep, then you’ll have 9 pairs of skis -one for every possible snow and trail condition- just like me.
And no money left. 😉
My son and I are the no-snow/cold and my daughters are yes!! This is exactly how we are, love it!!!
I'm glad you represent us properly. Shorts and a coat in your crocs is the way to go.
Please do a whole episode of the snowblowers talking! Drama, romance, snow ❄️, whatever you want! 🤞🤩🤞

That roomba part had me bustin up laughing 😂😂
gotta get snow tires for that guy
@@CharlieBerens Snow tires on the Roomba, would be a really funny "winter tinkering in the garage" video!!!! Lol!!!
OMG, this was *so* hilarious! I’m a winter lover, too -snowshoeing, XC skiing, even enjoy shoveling- but shorts?! Um . . . no. 😂

Yeah, I have worn one in a few videos and it's the real deal. 🙋💯🛡️
As a winter lover I can confirm this is how we act
“Oh no! Not my Prius”
As long as your jacket is warm and your feet are semi-dry, the shorts feel just fine. Was sitting in the Walmart parking lot waiting on my kid and noticed how many people were wearing shorts. In temps below 30°f and 3" of snow on the ground. No one had a full cover up going on. Just a jacket or gloves. Climate change has made us tough.

LMFAO at the huffing and puffing of the guy who hates the snow too funny when he does that and complains 😂😂
Snow is pretty but I'm glad I live in a state where it only snows a couple of times a year at most.
I love winter SO much. Enough for 20 people who enjoy all the seasons rolled up into one,
So he has two snow blowers AND a power shovel 😂
Of course!
Theres nothing fun in winter that isnt better in summer.
Bro when you hit that rock while shoveling... That shit is real lmao.
winters the best season
CHANGE MY MIND
When I was a kid I loved the snow. Then I got older, and I was the only one in the family without scoliosis/multiple spinal fractures/a disintegrating hip joint, suddenly the shoveling responsibility fell to me.
And just like that, I became a winter hater.
@@snowbirdie111 Probably!
I hated winter until I got a snowblower. Now I love it. Trust me definitely worth the investment.
Well growing up I loved the snow but as I've gotten older (but not with all the physical ailments) and having too many jobs where I had to do snow cleanup, I've begun to hate it. Now I'm retired though so it's only MY PLACE I have to contend with. So I guess it's better now.
I'm definitely both of these people lol. But only snow happy if I'm visiting. I'm from PA & lived in Florida for almost 30 years & freeze when it gets below 70! Build a snowman for me. ☃️ Thanks for the laughs, you guys are great lol.
One of my best friends won't ditch his basketball shorts for actual pants until it hits about -20.
I honestly jump started my Prius with my lawnmower. It really did work great.
Toro snowblower? Charlie, come on, you need an Ariens. Wisconsin company making snowblowers. Get a sponsorship!
Aroens isn't what they used to be - since 2016, many of the engines are chinese manufacture.
Hands down the best residential snow throwers are the track drive Honda's, but they cost a fortune - a new Honda 1132 is over 3 thousand dollars, and isn't even they're largest or most expensive model.
There's no way this video wasn't sponsored by Toro
Love my 33" airens blower its one of the only machines with a cast iron gear box and the augers have 2 drive belts so the dont slip
@@jonbowman9080 good to know. Huh. 🤔
Of the 3 times someone mentioned this company, not a single one was spelled the same way.
As I tell my southern living friends; the difference between -10 & -40 is the time it takes your nose snot to freeze. I still run down the road in -10, as long as the wind isn’t blowing. LOVE MN WINTERS!!
I love how charlie talking to his snow blowers
hi
There's NOTHING more infuriating in the entire universe than when the shovel gets stuck on the interlock driveway. FUCKING NOTHING ELSE MAKES ME FEEL THAT TYPE OF MAD.
