Most of the rainbows here are stocked although there is natural recruitment too. The browns are mostly from natural recruitment but there is some stocking as well but mostly fingerlings not grown out fish like the rainbows. They seem to last well in the river, they do one stocking of very large fish each year at the start of the season and they still get caught right at the end of the season
Dam Stud, sooo many fish and they're all healthy, and some stonkers from the hatchery release. Didn't realize you were working comedy into ur vids now "struggling with the rod between ur legs". We're you sight casting or just blindly flicking about?
well done //unfortunately its a diseased now deformed trout ///snobs creek are resposable for the quality and vfa are allowing deformmed fish in our waterways ///we deserve better
Nice sesh Alex. Love seeing the larger rainbow pull string on the light outfit.
Thanks mick! They are definitely fighting better now than when they first went in
very nice buddy......good to see the river is healthy.
Thanks mate, the floods have certainly got the fish super healthy
I went to this place and caught a big trout probably the same size as yours
Awesome work! Theres some great fish in the Goulburn
Love to hear about what gear, specifically lures you're using in these sessions, maybe a quick close up and explanation at the start of your vids?
I add the gear im using in the description in this vid im fishing an osp durga and osp hp shadtail
Awesome mate thankyou, missed that. They certainly did some damage
are those wild fish or are they stocked... and if stocked do they hold over well?... the browns look wild but the bows look like stockers

Be sweet if the cod were up in those areas. Would epic
Yeah it really would be, there's some other rivers that get cod in water like this which is pretty fun
Whereabouts on the Goulburn were you mate? Around Alex?
Yeah anywhere from there up to the wall
Hey mate, what size jig head are you using?
Sorry for the slow reply missed this one.
I'm using a size 1 1/16 Oz in this video and also fish 1/12oz on the Goulburn when there is more flow

Is this around Seymour mate? Or further north?
Upstream of Alexandra
