All this is true! My poodle recognizes many words as I say the same words for each situation & I always repeat the same so that he understands exactly what’s up :) If you’re consistent with the feeding etc schedule & always use the same words they’ll feel more secure
Lost my dog recently, I wish I knew more about him now, very helpful, thank you. Just show them U love them, they feel our feelings, I'm sure about it. They are just LOVE❤ in a dog carnation.
Long walks with a dog, a mile or greater, is a cardiac exercise, more effective than just walking alone. When you allow your dog to follow his nose when he/she stops to explore odors or find a spot to answer nature's call, you will be starting and stopping your pace continually. This is much better than just maintaining a constant level of exertion., as your obdy continually adjusts to the exertion of the pace. Dogs are helping us live healthier and longer.
I loved this video. My oldest dog just turned 12. I have a puppy who is 3 months. They play together all the time. Learned a few things from you. Thanks!😊
When I took in Nayla. A 9 month old GSD, that had been run through several households in a short period of time. She was so timid and loving. After a month, I soon realized why most couldn't deal with the energy. She wasn't a bad dog, she just choose to do bad things. Watched so many GSD videos and realized I was as much of the problem as she was. Sadly lost her last December. Heart broken I don't know why I got another puppy. Got Ginger at 6 weeks old, and a steep learning curve. Father St. Bernard/ Husky, mother Rottweiler, Pitbull. Stubborn as FU$K, but a total sweetheart. Constantly over the last year learning, the best ways we interact with each other.
Had dogs my whole life, now I'm 72. I've loved each of them fully. You gave very good suggestions. There are a couple I'd add, but most would be quite offended. How ever, they work that day, forever, and cause no harm.
Thank you so .much. especially the first met( smell your hand) at their level 😊 My mini Australian Shepherd, my wife, has him in a weekly agility training class 😊 Not to compete but to work that little brain of his. 😊 I have watched border Australian Work sheep. And it's a must if you want a border type breed.
The whole point of this is to be connected to your dog. To be aware of their needs and wants. I am amazed at some of these comments that are basically saying that these people are clueless!
She got her points across she can’t help it she ain’t fromTejas It often amazes me how petty some people are seems like you missed tha whole point of the exercise I for 1 found tha information very informative I’m more than ready to continue this discussion iffin your up for it

My girl Sadie Sue was great at ciphering different ball colors, Red Black and Blue. Our friends came over and Sadie picked up the right colored ball every time. 🥰 I sure miss my old girl. 💯
So I’m a repetitive person, but my dog gets what I say gotta tell you I think they understand the words. He was intelligent when I got him and I can’t say oh it was me that made it more intelligent he knows words.
Correction you don't need to switch from collar to harness because if your dog is trained and well-behaved, it won't be pulling during walks and is in no risk of neck injury. Key take train your dogs.
I try to give my dogs snuffle mats puzzle toys ect but my one dog chews everything up shes 1 1/2 year my other girl same age breed loves them they are half sisters one loves these things the othertears them up a nd hates walks not sure what to do
So my dogs favorite game is when I take a handful of food and along the walk I hide it and he gets to find it whether it’s when he’s not paying attention and running in front of me and then coming back but it’s his favorite cream and play in the snow footprints his footprints my footprints
20 minutes!? My dog like to walk 8 1/2 hours! We take off at 5 and come home at 1: 30 ! I tell her if we can take a small walk she said no! It her way or the highway!
No, but if my dog sees a roll of paper towels, he’s gonna eat it and I don’t know why he loves paper. It doesn’t matter if it’s a newspaper or paper plate. He’s always loved paper.
I haven't found a dog that I've fallen in love with. Having had dogs the one thing I notice is that just about all the people who have dogs within a number of blocks will pull on their collars and drag the dog away from a scent they wanted to explore. I was trained, before body harnesses were easy to find, that pulling on the dogs neck not just causes pain but can damage the dogs throat. We were taught, before I had made my own harness, that you should pull from the side so as not to damage the dogs throat. I made the mistake of telling a young woman, who was obviously in a hurry, that the way she was pulling on her dogs collar was damaging to his throat. I started to say you are pulling straight back and that is just cartilage. She didn't appreciate the advice and had an excellent number of swear words to toss at me and I even learned some new ones. Live and learn.
@JamesWatsonPA, many real-life women in their 20's annoyingly talk like this! Ugh!! That & they also raise several words, like asking questions?, in a sentence. Listening to both ways of speech like that gets real old...real fast!
@lisbetsoda4874 Wait, how did you know? Lol. I think it's just become normalised for me, even when I was working the dog still had the same time out, probably a better time out actually.
@@dilbertfish I am retired myself. My dog doesn't get the running and walking in it needs as I have been sick for a while now. Thankfully she is eight years old so not as needy as in the past. @@lisbetsoda4874 Well done for still getting out with the dog, my health has been rough for the last year so I know its not easy. Hope you feel better soon.

Croaky vocal fry. The latest craze! croak croak croak
The whole point of this is to be connected to your dog. To be aware of their needs and wants.
I am amazed at some of these comments that are basically saying that these people are clueless!
Yep. Poor dogs eh?
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS try your best to walk your dog on GRASS. Watch a few videos on "Earthing". This will benefit you and your "best friend".
Great to know!
It’s not just grass, you get the same results on soil.
excellent video
Thank you so much. 🐾🦴🐶
Yes my dog knows my words, mostly the words go and outside
I love how my dog mimicks what i say, he now says i wuv you if only he had the vocal cords he has the pitch and syllables down pat.
Thanks for sharing. I have never understood why dog toys aren’t just coloured blue and yellow
Are we being facetious? 🤔
We have neighbors all around us that don't walk their dogs. It's disgusting and abuse.

The don’t like petting on the head I don’t buy, my dogs have all loved it

Every dog wants nothing more than to please you!
They never do things as revenge! Or to “get back at you”.
slip leash works for keeping dogs heads up, the walk improves .

They only see blue & yellow so if the toy is red or green in green grass, they'll still see it as blue or yellow. Point 2 is so stupid 😅
And STOP with the pointed finger!! 😡 8:12

They do, absolutely!
Says not to use green toys and girl has a green ball playing with the dog at 7:00
