I had an american friend who I made these for, but disguised them as burgers as to not trigger his capitalist programming. He was so confused when he saw me putting bread in the mix.

No, but I had a lot of trouble to actually cook the meat. The mix was too liquid and couldn't hold itself together and once in the pan the thing was too large to cook on the inside so i had to cut it in half 4 times. Ended up with waaaaaaaaaay too much to eat, even as 4.

Yes, I was stuck in this foreign country .. with these weird western flatmates. Far away from my beloved homeland, sad from lack of Becherovka and babushka's potato salad. And one night when I was grieving for home, telling myself: "Is this really it? Is this really the end of me?" when suddenly a holy golden Kotlet smiled at me from the skies, telling me: "Bearer of the curse, seek Boris the Wise, KURVA!". So I did. The flat is now filled with the pleasent smell of fresh Kotlets, beer filling my thirsty stomach, mayonnaise waiting in the fridge, onions and garlic filling my flatmates' eyes with tears of pain. And at this moment I can finally clearly see ... home is where a good slav lives!
Stay cheeki breeki Boris, my lord and savior!

These are standard slavic cutlets, very beefy and actually edible and very tasty (must add salt and pepper aswell). This set up is slavic Boris powerfood. If it was a family gathering, you would also add some peeled boiled botatoes and white sourcream sauce on the side. That shit will fill youto the brim and help you get through tough cold, no problem! Great video, spread that slavic cuisine!

I just finished making this! I went grocery shopping just to make some of your recipes. I think I used too much meat, though, because I ended up with 11 kotlets and had to freeze 7 of them for future use. I also topped them with sour cream instead of mayonnaise. I have mayonnaise, but I know you substitute mayonnaise for sour cream as a topping for some recipes out of personal preference so I wanted to try it with sour cream first. I have enough leftover to try with mayonnaise later. I also got some chunks of pork and marinade ingredients for shashlik. Going to try babushkas strawberry jam, too. My kitchen looks messy like yours, too! :D
