I own a panamera and couldn’t agree with you more about all the praise you bestowed upon it. Your energy and enthusiasm making these videos is absolutely awesome. Clearly not the most polished, professional specimens by any means but that’s part of what makes watching this so enjoyable. Just a guy who loves cars, knows a thing or two and is sharing the ins and outs of various vehicles that pass through his hands professionally. It’s also great to see someone who works in the automotive industry maintain such a passion for the products he is surrounded by day in and day out. Ostensibly. Bravo and keep it up. Just be YOU! And hell yeah Panamera FTW.
Panameras are SO underrated! I have a 4S myself and I LOVEEEEE this car! Just make sure you're on top of the PDK maintenance!

I’ve a 2014 970.2 Panamera turbo s which has 570bhp with 800nm torque with a mid 3 sec 0-60 with launch control. They are shockingly fast with comfort and luxury. Yes they are a big car but when u put the foot down its handling is unreal with all the Porsche suspension tech in sport plus mode
Are they expensive to maintain ? Many thanks

Review was epic … I have this in the Turbo S! I initially wanted GTS 14/15 but agreed they are rare but I’m not complaining 😎. Option list is nuts , similar but I got the carbon steering wheel (stock)!

I love this generation of panamera! Dad almost got the turbo s but went with an s8 plus instead as it was abit faster and more understated

I wasn’t a Porsche fan my stepdad has a 993 and a 911 GTS and a cayenne but the GTS was the one that changed my mind it’s the one before the newer ones so naturally aspirated and it’s a nice place to sit and drive it definitely moves compared to the old 993 is night and day in comparison but it’s still nice to drive the 993 like he wanted a cayenne turbo but insurance said they wouldn’t insure it even though it was going to be kept in storage with the 993 and he is highest no claims and got 3 Porsche already crazy mate

Calvin gotta car for the draggy board! G42 M240i. Runs 20-70 in 4.03 seconds in the damp snowy slush at -4 degrees. Would be sick to get it on the channel when it’s dry and warmer outside

Sounds….very NASCAR. I work opposite a very large Porsche dealership. I could be wrong, but it seems a lot of them come back, driving into the place. And a lot on what look like break down transporters. Not a Porsche hater by any stretch, but that is how it looks 😳
I can see why you're successful as a trader. Really selling this car to me. Very nearly got a panamera earlier this year...nice cars and super practical, great as a grand tourer.

Only went to looked at a diesel yesterday,absolutely gobsmacked how well it’s built and the quality of the interior,definitely one on the way for me
I'd forget about the diesel now in all respect, diesel will be gone before petrol imho.
The diesel is rubbish. Skimp up the extra few quid and get a V8 petrol

Tbf I'm actually shocked you havent had a 911 turbo as a personal car tbh
If you love that sort of car you really need to get hold of a stinger gts, as an owner of one it offers a lot that this car does but for a lot less money, really do go under the radar by most and are a great car all in, massive spec from factory included cooled seats in front, heated in the rear, big brembos as standard, limited slip diff the list goes on and on with these cars and it's all standard spec, granted it's not German but it shows the Koreans can put up a fight with these top brands
There is a gts in my area that I feel like pulling the trigger on and it sounds really nice
A cup holder, and for the passengers cup holder it was an extra 10k
Listening to those downshifts I'm convinced Calv had a Lion in the boot lol

Great video, if it wasn't for that rear, I'd of got one. Now just need to wait years for the latest shape to come down 🤣 although that sound definitely could make me overlook that rear 😉
Good point, aesthetics are important about how you feel and that adds too when you are driving, I understand that and for me it's the same. Looks a whole lot better with the spoiler deployed.

I know it's an 8 year old car Calv but the scratch through the drivers rear door triggered me straight away. Suppose people with the money for such cars just treat them like normal cars. Great content as always.👍

Been in the pre lci turbo s and it was too powerful
Well he just said its 60bhp more than the gts so not much
@@kungfuhustle6363 the facelift Turbo S of this generation has 560hp so 120hp more. I had a prefacelift 2013 Turbo S a few years back with 550hp. They're considerably faster than the GTS, I recorded a 0-60 in mine at 3.6 seconds! Underrated bargain of a car if you can look past the looks.

I just bought a 2016. Did you find there was a lot of jolting when turning at very slow speeds ?
A lot of the V8 Porsches feel like that. Theirs V8 are rough. Cayenne is the same.
