Genuine question, are the trans Puerto Ricans redefining reggaeton, or just performing it? Why does the fact that they're trans matter to the genre that they're performing. It doesn't matter if a woman performs jazz music or a man performs opera music, so why does it matter that a trans person is performing reggaeton? Are they redefining it, is reggaeton now a genre specifically defined by a style of music being performed by trans people, or are trans people just performing reggaeton?

This is fine, but you have to ask leading questions with "good faith", by assuming the best of people and their intentions.
If you ask a leading question like "why is it important that a woman does jazz?" you have to be friendly with your approach and not assume the worst of the person you're talking to otherwise you're breaking boundaries of respect while expecting people to treat you better.
Based on what I've seen in these comments, you don't actually want to hear other people's answers and you're viciously abusing your online-anonymity to say things you wouldn't say in real life. Because of this, I can't answer any of your questions in "good faith"...
