I think she asked for statistics because Amala said she believed in science (probably quantitative research) and kept mentioning studies without actually stating how significant the results of those were. Blossom, however, is not basing her arguments solely on quantitative research but also on personal experience and I think she probably values a qualitative point of view more.
My point is, if you prefer or only believe in quantitative research then you should be able to back up your claims with the actual statistics. But if you lean more towards qualitative research, statistics are not as relevant.

I don’t care for the bathroom scenario because people who are bent on committing crimes or taking advantage of people will find a way to do so. By this idea, there will always be a “byproduct” of all situations. Volunteering is an example. A byproduct of allowing volunteers at a school could be approval of people who may want to harm or abuse children. This byproduct argument isn’t a strong one. I’d just rather a woman say that it makes them uncomfortable to share a bathroom with a transgendered woman.

The fact Blossom is questioning whether predatory men will take advantage of women’s spaces… is already saying a lot. I don’t have to explain my women friends what’s like being a woman, how you have to be afraid and hyper vigilant all the time because if you can’t prevent something from happening to you, it will be your fault (if you survive it anyway). The mutual understanding happens seamlessly, there’s no question. But when I’ve tried to explain to men, whether family or friends, they call me crazy for being afraid, for wanting to prevent any potentially dangerous situation with males from happening, and Blossom is questioning women the same way

On one hand she claimed statistics were not relevant when discussing how trans women unfairly outperform against cis-women, but then later said there’s “overwhelming” evidence that this is the case so I was confused how she was trying to defend her position.
And when they talked about gender dysphoria, I was a bit concerned about how she kept pushing the idea of “blind affirmation” which sounded like there should be no conversations with people at all when they feel at odds with their biological state? Not just one or two studies, literally thousands of studies. It's not an "opinion". It's biology.
