This happened to me once before, i think it's to do with voltage I had a faulty plug extender so I plugged it into the mains or another one and it worked when I pressed the on button on the remote.
@@isabellesiva3778 I am not an expert at this stuff however as the person at the top said how his won't turn on I tried plugging mine into a new extension cable or wall power which worked when I pressed the on button on the remote. If this is happening to you I would suggest you check the voltage conversion sheet you may get in packaging and check how many inputs you are putting into the lights. *If the voltage is correct I suggest you take a look on the adapter and see if you can find a model number then order it online.* Alot of these manufacturers make very cheap parts that mess up my brother had one of these led strip lights and the infra red sensor didn't work but when i plugged mine into his it worked.

You either pressed the strobe light function on the remote if there is one or it generally is a problem with the connection or power going to the lights check the plug and wires.
Breeze well to be honest since it was one light and i couldn’t figure it out, i just covered it with black tape and since my strip is so big i can’t even tell the difference, lol. sorry!
OKAY! So I just had this problem and you need to play with the remotes and spam them. So basically just spam the on and off button and it should work. I just did it and it worked
Heather Fowler hi mine were doing the same thing you can do 2 things, either contact the company or you need to check the connection. If neither of those work try lightly pressing the led bulbs.
i had mine for 1-2 months already and they worked fine but i tried to move the adapter a little and the whole thing turned off and the green light isn’t even on somebody please help😔

so my issue is that my led strips won’t fit into the connector thing and i’m trying everythung and my fingers are now abused for hours of trying to fit them in.
My led lights are protected so I can’t do all this , but I literally got my light today and I stuck them on my wall when I was done I wanted to test them out , they didn’t work
@@eelo810 So I outlined this metal ship and everything works great. I have them plugged in so where i was setting up I cld figure out the problem if they were went out, but they didn't. Should I just leave as is and not try to cut them bc I can just tape where I finished up.. Wish I can send a pix. If ppl just lit them as they were going along and the lights went out. Then that's were the problem is. Oh, If I don't cut them either then I will cut where the next when I use them for another project. Hope this sounds right.
2 questions. 1 mine keeps turning off then back on every 2 minutes. I cant think of what would cause this. 2 when connecting the waterproof ones, whats recommended to put over the connections to keep them some what waterproof for outdoor use?

Was trying to build a neopixel blade for my lightsaber and it has a RGB compatibility in the strip but for some reason when I wired it it all came in white and when change the color I can change the color of via an app on my phone with my saber but I have a question if both data lines are touching with this cause the LEDs to just register as plain white

To make it more clear, just hold down on those down arrow buttons until it turns a different color for the diy buttons. What I did was I kept holding down on the down blue arrows until it turns green and keep doing to same things with those arrows.

Okay, serious inquiry’s only. I’ve had these light strips for about a year, and every time I turn them to the color red, they are all red, but when I turn them to blue, three of the tiny lights aren’t working. And then when I turn them to white, the three that weren’t working turn yellow. And so on and so forth, basically there’s three little lights that aren’t in sync with the colors I’m choosing. Ive done 4 sets of lights. TVs, bedrooms. I connected 4 sets of strips together. One strip will be yellow and the other 3 are red. One strip is white the other three are blue. In the bed room the further the distance the color changes. It will be red close to the power supply and almost pink orange by the end of the 60' run. These connectors do not work well at all. They are so finicky.

Need help! My led strips are not working right(specifically GREEN). When the led is on turned off green is on but on dimmed. ⚠️PLEASE HELP!!⚠️ Only like three weeks into having my LED lights I noticed that my TV remote also controlled my lights for some reason? (Certain buttons would change the colours of the lights) but the On and Off button to my TV remote would turn my lights off and I would just turn my LED lights back on after.. but one day as usual my tv remote On and Off button turned off my LED lights and now they won’t turn back on at all. I’ve tried everything.. I’ve tried new sockets and new extension cords, I’ve tried unplugging everything and replacing it back in.. I even left the lights alone for a while thinking that they would maybe turn on again if I just left them alone for a bit but they still won’t turn back on :( someone please tell me what to do! ⚠️
i bought my lights on amazon from RGB and they have 4.5/5 stars. The red is barely there! I've tried to turn it on and off, and sometimes the red becomes vibrant for a millisecond. I don't know what to do :(
What about once it’s connected. I use the Geeni app and for some reason I can’t do any color besides red and green n white. When I go to purple it turns red instead and when I try blue it’s green! My saturation is up 100% so I don’t understand what’s wrong

Check if there is arrows on the plug thst goes into the lights if there is then make sure they're aligned. If not make sure it is plugged in properly. If it isn't to do with wattage then it must be with some of the parts depending on which one it is, it could be the adapter most of the time it is so if you can find a model number on it and buy a new one thats all the advice I can give you however I'm no expert.

Mine doesnt work, I connected everything correct way, when I plug it in its lights up for one millisecond and than turns off, I thought it was because of the remote but remote is also fine. Anyone knows what the issue can be? I can show you how it looks on snap
i plugged them in and they wont turn on, but when i touch a censor thing on the strip it turns on a portion of the strip and i changed the battery in my remote to see if thats that problem but now it wont open, my little sister spent 50$ for them
This happened to me but with green I had to replace mine I think its to do with the power going into he strips make sure the arrows or the metal tabs that go into the lights are connected properly. If not I cant help you I tried to find out what happened to mine.
I tested mine and it perfectly worked but then i cut it on the copper thingy and cut it in the line after that the only strip near the plug is woking and the rest doesn’t work

Where one connects to another there may be an arrow on the pieces that connect them showing they have to be facing the same way

The arrow buttons won’t work on mine.
I found the solution: When you click the diy buttons hold down on the green down arrow or blue down arrow
To make it more clear, just hold down on those down arrow buttons until it turns a different color for the diy buttons. What I did was I kept holding down on the down blue arrows until it turns green and keep doing to same things with those arrows.

Okay so i have one strip of LEDs in my room and i would say maybe 8 bulbs out of all of them aren’t showing the blue color. so if i turn it to teal it will just show green as well as any color that includes the color blue. and it’s only like 8 things out of all of them... help?!
my leds only work a tiny bit when i touch the silver thing in between the actual lights and if i touch the one labeled “green”, it turns blue but when i touch the one labeled “blue” it turns green

Ive done 4 sets of lights. TVs, bedrooms. I connected 4 sets of strips together. One strip will be yellow and the other 3 are red. One strip is white the other three are blue. In the bed room the further the distance the color changes. It will be red close to the power supply and almost pink orange by the end of the 60' run. These connectors do not work well at all. They are so finicky.
What do I do if one side of my lights aren’t working?

How do u fix if a single color is stuck on and when u change the color the light keeps mixing
so when i plug in the power it works for half a second then turn off they dont work when i fully plug it in
Need help! My led strips are not working right(specifically GREEN). When the led is on turned off green is on but on dimmed. When I turned it on and set on green light same things happen when it is off. dimmed green only appears. That is why when I set it on white, purple/pink color appear. It seems green is not working properly. Please help. Thanks in advance!

Only like three weeks into having my LED lights I noticed that my TV remote also controlled my lights for some reason? (Certain buttons would change the colours of the lights) but the On and Off button to my TV remote would turn my lights off and I would just turn my LED lights back on after.. but one day as usual my tv remote On and Off button turned off my LED lights and now they won’t turn back on at all. I’ve tried everything.. I’ve tried new sockets and new extension cords, I’ve tried unplugging everything and replacing it back in.. I even left the lights alone for a while thinking that they would maybe turn on again if I just left them alone for a bit but they still won’t turn back on :( someone please tell me what to do! ⚠️
should we keep them plugged in while giving it a break
Idk if this helps but where you connect the strip to the input thing, the input thing has an arrow, THAT ARROW HAS TO BE TOP UP!
i bought my lights on amazon from RGB and they have 4.5/5 stars. The red is barely there! I've tried to turn it on and off, and sometimes the red becomes vibrant for a millisecond. I don't know what to do :(

What about once it’s connected. I use the Geeni app and for some reason I can’t do any color besides red and green n white. When I go to purple it turns red instead and when I try blue it’s green! My saturation is up 100% so I don’t understand what’s wrong

My lights won't turn on at all. It's not a problem with the power source, it works fine when other things are plugged into it. What should I do??
Check if there is arrows on the plug thst goes into the lights if there is then make sure they're aligned. If not make sure it is plugged in properly. If it isn't to do with wattage then it must be with some of the parts depending on which one it is, it could be the adapter most of the time it is so if you can find a model number on it and buy a new one thats all the advice I can give you however I'm no expert.

Mine doesnt work, I connected everything correct way, when I plug it in its lights up for one millisecond and than turns off, I thought it was because of the remote but remote is also fine. Anyone knows what the issue can be? I can show you how it looks on snap

i plugged them in and they wont turn on, but when i touch a censor thing on the strip it turns on a portion of the strip and i changed the battery in my remote to see if thats that problem but now it wont open, my little sister spent 50$ for them

This happened to me but with green I had to replace mine I think its to do with the power going into he strips make sure the arrows or the metal tabs that go into the lights are connected properly. If not I cant help you I tried to find out what happened to mine.

I tested mine and it perfectly worked but then i cut it on the copper thingy and cut it in the line after that the only strip near the plug is woking and the rest doesn’t work
