  • How to fix burned or flickering LED strips.
First, you have to test resistors. Usually, SMD resistors have 3 numbers. The first two numbers are actual resistance value. The third number indicates how many zeros go after the first two numbers.
The second step is to check each diode with a multimeter. If there are bad diodes you can use Ohms law shown in this video to calculate resistors to replace burned LED.
The third and probably the best way to fix flickering or burned LED- is just to solder a new strip to it.

Also, only the red colour works totally fine

@@sk_tedy If in all 30M line, All RGB LED work fine just in 3 segments issue. I would cut out these segments, and resolder good segments to good segments. If In ALL 30m you don't have blue, check your multichannel LED controller contacts - you can swap red with blue if blue works and red doesn't work - perhaps LED controller is not working properly. But i would just Cut out bad segments and resolder them with good segments. Bad segments also could have damaged bad resistors you should check -- but it's very rare issue.

Hi there. I have a 25 meter SMD 5050 led strip light. The first 15 meters work, but the remaining 10 meters don't light up. What steps could you recommend? Thank you!

Most likely you have an "open circuit" in section that goes affter section that is working. Check that you have voltage affter section that lights up.

Also you cuold connect voltage from another end of light strip - to check where exactly you loose connection. Remove that section - or try to resolder traces.

How did you remove the white PCB mask & expose the copper traces of the flexible strip?
I did you use a solvent like acetone to dissolve?
Or did you use an abrasive like sand paper or fiberglass pen
To rub off the surface materials?
I would really love to know what method you used
Because I can't figure out how to expose the hidden copper PCB traces
    Thank you so very much
