Terrific video DJ , I think his colleagues knew that DJ was legally filming but he didn't want to go against his lunatic boss .
XPO you picked the wrong guy as operation manager .
Why do all police say “unfortunately there’s nothing we can do” as if they wish they could do something to violate you?
If we give them the benefit we can assume it is a short version of “Unfortunately for you Darren….”
Many of our police officers say the same thing, imagine that.😏 I don’t know about yours, but I’m 99% sure ours are not saying it in your short version scenario🤷♂️😏🤜🤛
At the present time..."there is nothing we can do"... BUT WE are working on scenarios that will generate public outcry and THEN we CAN introduce more restrictive laws for the WHOLE population. Same old story over and over again, been done many times.
A while back an auditor did a video and he said that a memo have been sent out to all police force regarding Auditors/Social Media Bloggers.
I have posted the exact same question before,,🤷♂️
It always amazes me that people are so protective of their work place.

Mate, it's funny, I love respectable audit videos, but its a joy to see competent professional officers doing their jobs properly. Good on these lads.
Don't understand why the cops keep turning up for a man with a camera; you'd think they would have learned by now to just say on the phone "It is not illegal to use a camera in a public place, so there is nothing we can do".
Pretty simple, the call to the Police is probably embellished.
Police were excellent. No ego's and willing to listen. Spot on!

Yup, they act as though they're feelings appeasement rather than law enforcement.
yep...."unfortunately we can't arrest this law biding citizen."
The filth 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The law keeps them in check for doing what they'd love to do to most citizens. Remember these are hired thugs
Unfortunately they do keep saying unfortunately .Unfortunately the law is the law.
One of those coppers was desperate to trick DJ into disclosing his ID when he asked to confirm insurance. Clever move and DJ fell into the trap when he didn't have to disclose anything because the coppers had no objective and reasoanble grounds to believe an offense had been committed. Come on DJ - you dropped the ball there!
keep telling yourself that. they didn't give an f what his name was! Did you watch a different video?
I don't think DJ tries to hide his identity, he has a popular web site. He willingly gave his website name, the police, as ever, were fishing for more. I expect they are collecting a database of auditors. The control room obviously have info on sensitive sites, from the PC's comment. I generally like DJ's interactions, not very confrontational.
Brilliant reaponse from the police. They took it as an opportunity to learn and were polite and didnt question DJ's knowledge level. And in return brilliant from DJ taking the opportunity to educate.
'I'm not bovvered' except I'm bovvered enough to stand arguing for half an hour and call the police.

Well an other goating that did not work at all.....
Why does the police keep saying, unfortunately, it is a right to film
Because their job is corporate feelings appeasement, not law enforcement.
one even said “just don’t antagonise”……..oh get a grip and go and solve some actual crimes!
It's to try to calm him down, I've done similar things on the phone with people before when presenting them with information they may not be happy with.
Because security wishes he didn't film thus it's unfortunate for him that filming is allowed. The PC didn't mean unfortunately in that it's a shame filming is allowed.

Nice to see the 2 policemen willing to learn instead of getting a superiority complex as usual.the 2 policeman did well and will now know how to deal with this in the future.
One was good, the other seemed like he was fishing really really hard for an offence
Good lesson all round . Even the cop trying to find something had to agree that all was lawful and he learnt now how to deal with drone flyers, this means he will be out the car asking for weight, licence and insurance on the drone instantly, still education was given
‘I have made myself aware’. The best line of the video!

Don’t the Police Chiefs ever review why so many pointless calls are attended? This really is a waste of money.
Always have been. It’s where the big money comes from.
But they don't for shops and supermarkets that get robbed several times a day and staff get abused. They need to start saying someone is recording outside on public land
One guy rang the police to come quickly, as there is a burglar lurking around his hous
The police never came, so he rang again. "Sir we are very busy, we are coming as soon as we are free.
A bit later, when no police arrived, he rang them again: "I just rang to say no need to hurry, I have shot him now"
2 minutes later 5 police cars turned up looking for a body. But he told them, that there is no body.
