- Today we take a look at Bank Of England, De La Rue, Commercial Printer, 3TN, Langston Rd, Loughton
We follow the public footpath as far as it could go and then get asked by security not to film so we return back to public land.
Security wasn't very helpful in defining the boundary so we had to guess.
Whilst flying the drone, the police arrive and try their best to obtain details.
Enjoy!

This female police officer is smart enough and educated enough to understand that DJ is smarter and more educated about the law than she is. And she does not seem to feel threatened or triggered by that. Good on her. Most police officers in the UK could learn a lot from her attitude.
😂
Yep I totally agree 💪
She outwitted him by filming his operators id tbf 😂
Men hvorfor skal den mandlige politibetjent stå og true ham i sekunderne derefter. Fy for helvede hvor er han et ulækkert menneske.
Is Colin like Superman. How exciting 😂
I've watched loads of these and this is the first time I've seen a constable be willing to stand, listen and be educated by someone who clearly knows more about a subject. Well done to her
If you ask me she was dying to get something on DJ
Both police officers did everything right. Nice to see Auditor and police talk without getting snotty with each other.
You don't need an education to film people.
Prick
To be fair the 2 cops were the best I've seen on many audits. No threats of arrest or ego tripping. So only fair to give them a thumbs up. That's the way we all want them to react when engaging with the public. Ps. Love your videos keep up the good work.
That Indian restaurant sounds pretty awesome. He seems like a good dude. Like you said he used it as an opportunity for some advertising.
This should be sent to the IPCC and all Police Forces as a Training Video. A prime example of I do not know, I will ask a senior officer and not guess. Well done PC's
Pathetic pair wasn't they? Embarrassing.
One should have kept me talking and other doing the checks on comms. I had too many chances to disappear.
Completely agree with you I only recently started watching DJ Audits but if he doesn't know something he goes out of his way to learn it examples are insurance, or a video which had a flight restriction to an area that only applied to helicopters. He also talks to everyone with respect so long as they do the same seems like a top lad.
I do think in time the law around drones will change though because having a number (not necessarily a real one) on a drone can be done by anyone as its something the owner put onto them and without being able to check means you cannot find unlicensed drones or even know if the person you are asking owns said drone. I understand people want to maintain there privacy but I do think the police should be allowed to confirm everything is above board as I imagen they could be used to great effect casing out places to rob which is what everyone who spit there dummy's at DJ and other Auditors is probably concerned about and overeacting.
The silent PC was the only one that comes out with any credit.
Tattoo was itching to make it an issue ... even called her mum Haha
@@ShirleyT-Keela Only one of them were pathetic.

I was about to type that . Fools eh ?

It needs updating...how you fixed?
At last, police officers who listened and were educated about drone law. I don't think any of them like being informed but at least they took it onboard in a civil manner. Good work
Absolutely right DJ mate, I hate it when they start zone out and start listening to their radio instead of listening to people… so rude.
Ownage 😂😂😂😂 is strong in this one. She was so happy when she thought she had you on 50 meter rule
50m is for people and only with drones heavier than 250g so she got it wrong by saying buildings anyway. Videos like this will educate constables also ❤️
It tried to be clever ... crashed and burned Haha

Probably two of the most courteous coppers I’ve seen on an audit for months!
Hometown boy! I must admit this is one of the best UA-cam channel that doesn't go out antagonising, you're always calm collected polite I enjoy as it's raw footage not "spliced and chopped" like a lot of other channels do. Keep up the fantastic work and stay safe 🚨 💯%
I love the way you walk away from the police and burst their "control" bubble.
While they weren't exactly rude to begin with, they were a lot more willing to listen in the subsequent interactions
I thought that was a tad unnecessary, but I think he wanted to demonstrate to the viewers that you can. He probably used the cooperative police as an opportunity to do so, rather than an encounter with confrontational bobbies. That's for the viewers to attempt. 😸

I am so glad you walked away from the servants, it's important that they realise they're limited importance, these two were much nicer than many others where your actions would be more required.
They can’t trespass you from that land, it’s public property! And there’s a reception for welcoming the public, so they can’t prevent you from accessing the land or the reception. I’d have stood my ground.
That said, I loved the way you handled the police. And all credit to them for not escalating in frustration. Great audit!
It is remarkable how many times security personnel choose to call the police instead of simply doing their job.
When you asked if you were being detained, then walked away was epic! Good job mate. Cheers.
I love how they the officers area calm and was willing to listen, and not argue with you letting you educate them. - the coms they was pretty good.
It's refreshing to see a UK perspective on this sort of audit/video. There's so many USA one's around but a UK police force's way of dealing with it is very different so, as I'm in the UK, it's nice to see how it works here. I've not seen many, if any, US versions with a drone - I wonder how they'd react to that. I reckon the police did well here, as did DJ Audits. Nice explanations of actions (like walking away when not detained) but engaging and trying to find out boundaries rather than just being confrontational for the sake of getting content is a great approach to making useful videos which are pretty entertaining too.
I'm glad you made the point about so called "Stop and Account". You should probably also point out that the Police CANNOT use your refusal to talk to them or you walking away as a reason to arrest or detain you unless they have reasonable suspicion that you are, or about to, commit a crime (in which case Stop and account would not have been appropriate in the first place). UA-cam auditors generally engage just for the footage, but could have (and should have) walked away if exercising/demonstrating rights was the real intention.
Exactly right. When he walked away I think that's the first time I've seen anyone do that.
@@guckfoogle1096 focuspocus does it a lot

Informative for the public viewers and educational one for security and staff. If they bother to watch.
How to conduct a business successfully and embrace advertising opportunities.
PUBLIC EMPLOYEE conducting themselves reasonably well but still trying to create a crime.
At the same time as not following their own procedures. Together with the usual devious parting question to elecit that which they were denied previously. Which is why you never trust PUBLIC EMPLOYEES .
She was well shattered when you educated her on the law.
It's pretty simple, if you want help from the police then just be a corporation.
Brilliant work DJ - especially when walking away at the 'busy with something else' PC on her radio. Superb !
Very good of the cops to stand and listen to everything you were teaching them! 👏🏼
Knowledge is key. You have the sense to determine your legal restraints by checking road marking. Fence Signage and combined business access. Additionally adding in information from drone assist. Your professional approach to staff who approach you to come to a conclusion to benefit both parties is spot on. You have covered all your bases before the Police arrived. Then the police weren't sure of boundaries or the law according to drone size. I'm pleased you weren't arrested. Well done I've learnt all this from you.
Thanks. That means a lot 👊
Bye Laws on public areas may decide if you can fly their or not, not yellow lines ;-)
Your comment regarding your advice on handling the police was spot on sir 👍👍👍👍
You handled that very well. I agree with you about the radio use interrupting your conversation - very rude. When i worked for a living and i was talking to someone, if my phone rang i would leave it ringing as the person i was talking to took priority - simple, considerate principle.
I am the same if I am talking to someone and my phone rings I will carry on talking to the person as answering a phone mid conversation with someone else is without doubt the most rudest action anyone can do If I am talking to someone and they answer or text on a phone whilst I am talking to them I simply walk away and I have seen management at a company I worked for do this on several occasions
24:46 Just we are clear am I being detained, no sir was their reply, so DJ turns around and walks away, now this had me in stitches lmao🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Absolute huge respect to the police officer lady there she walked in with the innocent until proven guilty attitude. Act apon what you know not what you don't know. She is a shinning example of how policing should be done in the uk. This should be a training video DJ. Many officers would have looked at this high security building and destroyed the uk laws we have in place. Brilliant DJ one of your best videos to date you were on it. Please use the words I am going to educate you today :).
This guy is the UK'S politest auditor, what a gentleman.

OMG, best soft-touch policing ever.
Most cops would say you're not detained... but... that if you try to walk away you'll be arrested. I was actually surprised they let you just walk away when you put the drone away. Most would immediately consider you to be 'making off' and get the cuffs on'.
I really don't think the comms is an issue at all. And I'm really impressed that she listened and let you try to update her understanding of the regs, that's genuinely rare : )
So, I give top marks for Essex police on this occasion - THIS is how real policing is done. With empathy, respect and a focus on public service. There was no attempt to assert authority hard and let you know who's boss... not a single jackboot in sight! Well done!
This is the kind of general police work that builds trust and respect. There's a time for jackboots, and this wasn't it.
FFS, they didn't have a clue who you were but they still let you wander far and wide... I'm not even sure that was wise. Oh, and ONLY ONE POLICE CAR... I was expecting a riot van, two helicopters, some dog handlers and a sniper ; ) They should probably always send a second car for safety until they get a feel for the situation, but keep it out of the way to avoid defensiveness and unnecessary escalation. No need to swamp people with three cars and surrounding them with officers, but we see it all the time with absolutely no cause.
No, Essex police played an absolute blinder here! 11/10
And they neglected to inform you they were recording, how unfit was the security.
Your right. I didn’t mention this important point this time. 😬

Why do police insist on trying to get ID all the time. They established you were committing no offence, but kept trying till the end.
Like it's been said before they are addicted to getting ID like crack.
Keep the great audits coming DJ.
it's all about compliance, once they get id they'll work on the next illegal breach of your rights.
Cops always want to try and pin something on one if they know you've had problems with them in the past about time these cops gt educated band fast

It’s all to do with joinder
Your legal fiction police need you to take responsibility for it
Do not forget the police were beating ppl for not wearing the slave mask during the covid plandemic .we know who they work for the 1% not us
I like the “am I being detained” and just walking away and then walking away again when she took a call while engaging you and not knowing if there was a crime.
THAT is the way to deal with police.
The fact that a memeber of the public has to constantly educate the Police on laws is pretty astounding really. At least they listened, but still embarrassing. Thank god they aren't Pilots or Surgeons or something 🤦🏻♂️
In fairness there are thousands of laws, it would be impossible to know them all. Like anything you only know those things if you use them, hence they won’t know drone laws. Jesus I’m defending the police.
@@learntooilpaint I know what you mean. The issue I have is that _with the current climate_ of funding issues, does it make sense to send two police officers to a situation where they have no idea if there is any law to have been broken? Not just if a person has broken a law, but if there is even a law to break? Obviously, investigation _of a crime_ is often required - but investigation of a non-crime?
I've been assaulted in public unprovoked (not even said a word to the offender) - had my nose broken - in the middle of the day walking past a busy highway with witnesses that came to help immediately afterwards. The police were called on a phone by a passerby who handed the phone over to myself, not minding the blood that got all over it. The only thing the police did was to tell me to carry on heading home and keep my nose pinched. No police were sent to attend the crime area or recover witness statements or get video footage from the nearby businesses. _Clearly, I should have been flying a drone at the time._
EDIT: The police officers at the end of the video clarify they were called because DJ _may_ attempt to enter the restricted areas of the site - this is even more absurd! The place is like Fort Knox. At no point did DJ make any attempt to do that, nor mention any desire to do so. In fact, he was quite clear what and why he was in the area (which he did not need to do at all) and headed further away than likely necessary, while not attempting to hide in any way. This would be like me calling the police because someone walks past my house and I am worried they may try to enter. Why did the police choose to attend such a non-incident?
Focus Pocus and DJ audits. Definitely the top 2 auditors out there.
Thanks but FP is much better. I love watching his videos ❤️
Haven't heard of Focus Pocus, I'll check that one out.. I'd definitely add PTTP to the top of the list too!
@DJ AUDITS my only criticism of him is that he doesn't post as often as yourself lol. Would love to give it a go myself but here in NI we have what's called the Justice & security act which in essence requires everyone to give not only our details but where we've been and where we're going too and powers to search.
AB is in the top 5 too....
Audit Ed is good but don't think he's doing much auditing atm.
The way you conduct yourself in a polite manner and help communicate UK policy and laws to your viewers is really insightful. Your videos are really interesting to watch getting to see parts of the country I would not see otherwise, especially how you educate the people who you come into contact with who mostly seem overly suspicious or just plain rude. Thank you for the service you are doing keep up the amazing work!

@@ef7480 £10 is his way of thanking DJ personally, beyond the ad revenue. He has posted a huge amount of videos and is constantly entertaining. Many folk would rather pay £10 for something they truly enjoy, than pay a TV licence to a corporation known to protect paedophiles.

Few years back some of the staff at this facility managed to get a lot of used cash out of the building. They were caught and imprisoned and i helped put the house back together after the fuzz dismantled it looking for the cash! True.
Nice one mate. Awesome 🙌
I remember watching a show on TV called Hot money. It was based on the true story about staff sneaking thousands of used notes out of here. Crazy.
Small world.
Slightly worrying that security at the Bank of England is a heavily obese person and another person overweight and who looks like they got dressed in the dark. Top tier security, that.
Most police constables are fat
Not that physical appearance should be the main judgement of how they perform their jobs, bit of a cruel comment tbh. I'm sure there are underweight poor security guards also.
Ha ha well said

Expertly done. Great to see how do deal with these situations. Well done DJ.
Very well behaved cops. Rare. First bit I noticed was that they were not making you repeat yourself once for every officer who showed up, which they usually do. The guy kept his mouth shut and listened to the answers you gave the woman. Well done.
DJ I agree with you 100%. In practically every UA-cam video showing interaction with PLOD they have this 'very rude' habit of using their radio mid-conversation. I am sure that if people chose to call someone mid way through one of their diatribe they would not be happy. I absolutely love that you just walked away saying she was obviously too busy to continue the conversation.
Object lesson on dealing with the police, and she was quite reasonable too. One thing i did notice, that you never mentioned, was that both officers seemed to be recording you but didn't (on film at least) inform you that they were.
Just loved the way you walked away when she answered her radio. So funny.
If she has more important things to do then I take that as an insult as I am helping her to avoid a civil claim 🙌
@@DJAUDITS I think more should take the same view. It has always struck me as incredibly rude.

Interesting fact for you, when the M11 motorway was built in the late 70’s the Debden junction was made with no route going to or from the North, the only way is to or from London where there is a high concentration of police.
A lesson in how to 100% own 2 police constables! Another master class DJ.
Very decent police, and willing to be educated. They were amazing in one respect that is extremely rare in the police. They did not talk over you constantly. This was brilliant to to see, two police constables with their ears open and their mouths shut.
Surely this is the way to gather intelligence, it would be great if more of the police learned this technique. 👍😎
Your camera work and editing was amazing in this video. Speeding up the boring parts and using the drone to follow the action was, in my opinion, the icing on the cake. Keep it up.

Absolutely excellent video, DJ. The police were fine but, as usual, the security staff were very unprofessional, rather hostile/unhelpful and WRONG. I suspect that the Loomis van didn't back up to the shutters because the CCTV cameras could see you were filming it and obviously waiting till the van doors opened so you could miraculously vault over the very high, razor-wire topped double fences and nick 2 or 3 tons of polymer dosh. They're not daft in there, you know .... 😁

Don't know why but I really enjoy these videos. The drone footage is always amazing, so much so you've inspired me to do the same in my country. Being a commonwealth country we share pretty similar laws/rules etc will be interesting to see how I get on!
110% Master class audit. An education for security, police and Bank of England. I do worry about the poor response of the Bank of England, they clearly need to understand their boundaries, signage and security staff training. I might be alone here, but the best performance was from the police lady and the Sri Lankan gentleman. Absolute class audit and well explained about polymer notes.
