- Hey guys!! I am excited to announce that I have finally installed my exhaust! I have been waiting so long to install it and upload this video... so here it is! It is the loudest rumble on earth no other exaust exaggerates that Subbie Legendary rumble better than the track edition. Now if you put a Downpipe along with it 😱

Aye!! She finally did it! Told you a while back that AWE was it. I couldn't do the Track version as I knew I wad gonna go faster with Flex and a DP. The Touring version is a legit setup for anyone adding a DP. Track would be a bit too loud n raspy. With a stock 🐈 the Track version is by one of the best, if not the best on the market with superior rumble n sounds. 2021 gang!! We almost look like twins:*) If you see me on the 91 or 57 freeway, slo down and smile. Cheers and congrats!!

yoooo ive seen so many exhaust install vids with the special sound clips after the install, but this the 1st where i LMAO because you totally got my ass with your sisters jeep hahahaha. i was like damn ive heard aftermarket exhausts that sounds close to stock but i dont even hear the boxer rumble. wtf is going on LOL. the fitment and the color of the tips is on point, looks really nice. id be careful tho working with bracelets on especially under the hood hate to see them get messed up or damaged

...funny, I said the same thing about the bracelets when she was wrapping her roof...car mx and jewelry is not a good combo, especially under the hood...conversely, when working under the car, wearing some safety glasses is always a good idea because you never know when that piece of dirt/debris is going to fall in your eye and makes your day bad...

Would definitely recommend adjusting the exhaust more as your gonna run the risk of melting the diffuser with the tips that close/touching
you know the tips are adjustable...I'd pull the inner ones out a 1/4" or so as it looks odd with the outer tips looking like they stick out further. In fact, I think AWE says you can pull the tip out to halfway on the main track-pipe portion...at least with the black tips, you won't see them turn black from the soot, but it will be harder to tell when they are clean. My chrome tips have been shiny since the first week after install...hopefully when you clean them, you don't scratch the black coating off...I'm surprised that AWE only provides ONE hanger on the track pipe vs the two hangers on the touring mufflers....the two hangers would help with alignment imo.

I have a VAB STI too, just purchased it and about to do some cosmetic changes to it as well. But first thing I’ll be doing is the timing belt with upgraded belt guide 🙂

should probably note that the wrx will not sound like this because of the 2.0 and the unequal length headers, you dont get as much “subie rumble” with the wrx. there is a video on how this exhaust sounds on the wrx.

ENJOY!! I waited 3 long months for mine. It was a fun install. It is VERY loud and has a nice aggressive rumble. I paired mine with a Maperformance Downpipe. So it is ferociously loud on full throttle. I get compliments all the time because it does not sound annoying like a Mustang/Charger it sounds like a “race car” I been told 😎.
Edit: wait till the break in period is over it will sound even deeper. I noticed the difference once I was getting closer to the break in time.

Don't get uel headers your wrx is designed for equal length. You want the rumble get an sti.

Nice, I got the same exhaust. The only thing that got me was the black tips rubbing off the back bumper. Wore some of the black coating off.

How good does your car ride with the BC coil overs? how close is it in stock. I’m asking because I put eibach on my car and it rides like crap over bumps and imperfections. At my age I want a low car but only 1.3 front and back!!! That’s not that low I should be able to get the same ride.

Throwing an intake on would require a tune, which would result in a denial of powertrain warranty claims. That seems kind of dumb just for some turbo noises. But hey if you have an extra 10k put aside to fix it if it breaks more power to you.

Are you glad you went with the black tips? I like them, but I’m torn, I’m afraid I’m gonna be disappointed not having that shiny stainless hanging out the back. Always so pretty. The black tips seem to not stand out as much. Like Um both good vid!
I am glad i went with the black tips, it may not be everyone’s preference but i personally love them, they are more discreet but it’s a look that i was going for 😅

Great content keep up the work. Make sure you buy hanger extensions. I believe they rub against the inner slots on the bumper and scuff up the finish on the black tips. Scoobyfreak86 explains it on his videos.

@@theblackmambaplague literally it’s a cat back, won’t change the atf ratio. Only the back pressure and noise output. Cat backs don’t involve any changes to O2 senors or anything that’ll mess up the atf (It literally IN THE CATs) so there for it won’t need a tune. The only time she’ll need a tune for an exhaust system is if she gets a downpipe. Thanks
100% do not need a protune for a catback on the STI. I had my car protuned at a very reputable Subbie only shop and the boss said that he has never tuned an STI/wrx for just a catback since it is not require. As a matter of fact I slapped a couple of bolt ons when I got protuned that same day I was supposed to get my exhaust but it didn’t get delivered. That day I talked to my tuner and he told me to drive to their shop Off boost and very light on the gas. I drive 20 minutes away with out a catback just the Downpipe lol. Got my STI protuned with out the catback been months since and my AP D.A.M and knock numbers still look crisp. I got my exhaust the day after I got tuned 🤦♂️

Our cars are very picky with these, I fkn hate that.
Ooooh, so you want a cold air intake don yah? Your ecu can’t adapt or self calibrate like a fsi tfsi with just bolt ons, you’re goona need a pro tune for that (sarcasm ).
And screw all those out the box Cobb tunes etc.
