    You don't drain out the brake fluid when you replace the brake lines. You quickly change out the lines then connect the new line back on the caliper with minimal lost of brake fluid. Once the brakes are all put back together with the pads, then you perform the brake fluid replacement starting from the rear furthest from the brake reservoir. Best to use a pressure brake process too. This will minimize the effort in removing air bubbles in the lines and not introduce more air in, especially at the master cylinder.

    Nice video as always .You are lucky you always have people that help you out .where I live nobody wants to get involved .Your battery shouldn't be dead after 2 weeks sitting. mine sits for 2 months at a time and always starts and mine is going on 5 years old .Time for a new one for you before you get stranded somewhere.

    Great video! Pro tip drilled rotors can be re-surfaced! Just gotta find a lil shop that you can bring them in and they can use a stronger bit on the lathe. Been running drilled and slotted for 7 years. Gonna go just slotted next for more life out the rotors.

  • @goosunsafetyfirearmtrainin9561

    Awesome, keep up the great work and the videos. I recently changed my breaks on my 21 STI I live in Las Vegas so I used EBC

    Welcome back,Liz! Well done on the brake job. Just a suggestion for your next rotor and pad change, the way I do it is new rotors/new pads. The pads conform to whatever rotor they're paired with. So if the old rotors have grooves and all, so will the old pads. Performance will be better with new pads and rotors. ;) Your battery shouldn't be dead either after two weeks so either it needs replacing or you have some parasitic draw.

      Wow 33k you got a lot of life out of them. My oem rotors on my 21 sti only lasted 11k miles. Switched to the girodisc rotors still going strong just hit 20k miles

    Take out the caliper mounting bolts only if you were just going to replace rotors, save more time. Don’t let your brake lines “drain” you’re introducing more air into the system. P.s your hair is getting long 😮

    • @stiliz.
      @stiliz.  Рік тому
