Blue and Yellow Diamond stood out from other gems and looked more elite sure, but White Diamond straight up looks like a goddess.
White Diamond doesn't let Steven talk, which means he can't talk his way out of things using his conflict resolution skills. This is going to be one very tough big bad to deal with.

Yeah, she reminds me a lot of mother Gothel from Tangled and the other mother from Coraline, very emotionally distant and dismissive about everything. Yet beneath her calm, seemingly emotionless mask lies a deeply resentful and aggressive personality that lashes out at everything and anything they perceive as a threat to their power. Based off of first impressions, she does seem to have a motherly aura to her, but that doesn't necessarily mean she is kind and forgiving like the way she presents herself to be. Either way, I can tell Steven will have a hard time reaching her, and when it does eventually come down to a confrontation, I think well see just how much of a cruel and sadistic monster White diamond can be.

It doesn’t make sense how fast atleast they did redeem her. It doesn’t add up or line up. She looks like a goddess, very stylish and regal compared to the other diamonds. She just oozes "I am above you in every way, and you sir are a peasant" Her voice sounds so light but with a sinister undertone, that's some great voice acting. She's so beautifully scary she could probably hold a conversation with guests, shatter a gem in the most savage an horrific way an stay smiling and talking like nothing happend while her subordinates clean up the carnage and her guests are scared asf. She is the epitome of a Queen bee, and queens don't play with the commoners, they rule over them.
I would say that she has an abusive mother vibe; I honestly think she believes all the terrible things she does is for the benefit of her gem children. Typical of a sociopath, she presents a warm open facade while being emotionally distant. Any dissent from her subordinates is met not only with physically violent retaliation, but also an even greater measure of psychological abuse. It's akin to saying 'look at what you made me do.' And the choice of voice actor is what gives it the sinister undertone you mentioned. It's like casting Florence Henderson from 'The Brady Bunch' to play Hannibal Lecter. The creep factor comes from knowing what the character has done and is capable of doing, and having to reconcile it with a voice that sounds like the epitome of motherly affection.
She is *literally* an alien compared to the other gems. If Steven even tries to talk to her she'll either ignore him or just laugh in his face. Everything from her design to her personality makes for the most perfect villain. I can't wait to see her relationship with her Pearl be explored. It seems like her Pearl is her version of a stress toy she can abuse when she's angry.
When white diamond was speaking to steven it reminded me of those automated voice calls where it doesn’t hear you but its supposed to sound like its in a conversation but there never timed right...does that make sense?
I think she was just intentionally being rude. Like she didn't want to actually talk. Like impatient and rude people in real life. They just cut you off.
She didn't seem like a sociopath exactly. Serenity before the storm. It means you keep calm for a bit until you completely flip out. She probably ushered Steven out of the room because he just arrived and then is about to go beat the hell out of Yellow and Blue Diamond. Also, remember the Cartoon Network bingo? There was a square that said: ''Gem gets shattered''. My bets are on White Pearl. It was strange that White wasn't moving at all and I know there is a fan theory that what we've seen of White was just a prerecorded message but I still don't know how to feel about that yet. I do think it's a bit early to gather a lot of White's personality but what I can tell is that something is very wrong with White mentally and emotionally. It's like she has been in denial or she actually knew Pink would come back.
I was thinking something similar. Blue said she hasnt left homeworld in eons i find that to be strange. Also she feels like a sociopath to me. Feiging emotion and expression when you dont really feel anything other than anger and rage and are violent and abusive sounds like a sociopath to me. But i do agree somethings not right with her she keeps talking about everyone else being hapoy to see pink but she never mentions what she thinks or feels about it

It’s plausible, in a way. White, after all, didn’t seem phased, shocked, or surprised that Pink was back, rather asking if it was all out of her system. Gems were even gathered out there to cheer for Steven. She probably knew the corruption would happen over Blue and Yellow as a result. Did anyone notice in the episode "Legs From Here To Home World" that Greg asks Garnet, "Garnet should I be worried?" To which he gets a reply of, "(Steven) will be fine." Just the way she says this bothers me and I'm curious if it's foreshadowing. She says Steven and pauses for a second, will be fine as she looks down. Then it's just played off as she ask's Greg to "water" Cat-Steven for her while shes gone. I wonder if she saw anything with her future vision. I just hope nothing bad happens to the Crystal Gems .

I’ve been there joking along these lines, like how Pink Diamond’s quarters might be physically barring for gems, like the brigs, and Steven is largely immune to them. Connie didn’t react to Blue’s Aura, and Steven was the only one crying with her in That Will Be All (Not Greg), so his humanity likely makes him affectable but resistant, at least. Maybe only slightly resistant to power like White Diamond’s. Maybe the most resistant, since his body is basically self-healing.
Actually what would be cool is if her power halfway works on him so his the gem side of him loses all emotion. Then he would have to fight himself while also fighting White!

An interesting twist is White actually agreeing happily to help restore the corrupted gems on Earth...just so Pink (Steven) can continue with the colony development as intended. Steven, obviously, rejects this and THAT'S when White gets angry, explains how she knew everything was just a game but now it's time to 'grow up'. Then the pu pu platter hits the wind generating machine. Heck, she might even offer to restore the shards of the cluster back into their original gem forms if Pink just gets back to work. How could Steven say no to that?

Pink Blue and Yellow are the Emotions White couldn't deal with so she split her self to rid her self of their weaknesses. The development within this story line will be way too good! on that note if you take Yellow and Blue which makes green and added Pink you get a sorta off tone brown coloring add white to that and its a murky dark diamond that of the lightly tented scale then you have a near colorless diamond with the next on the scale being the totally Colorless diamond Which is what we are dealing with in Whites case.
That actually makes a lot of sense. In her telling of Roses story, garnet said the diamonds "unique in their flawlessness" which always confused me because blue and yellow are obviously very flawed. If your theory is true then blue yellow and pink ARE the flaws and white tried to make herself flawless. Maybe this can only be resolved by all of the diamonds re-fusing into one again.
So is Pink Diamond a manifestation of her impulses and attachment to her creations? If she is the mother of all gems, maybe she viewed her love for her children as a weakness and purged herself of love itself. But then again, why would she be so understanding with Steven...?
I believe White Diamonds 'glow' isn't due to her being a star, but because they are in her ship! As Steven is in the Pink Diamond Ship his legs are glowing , and the same goes for White! You'll see that her glow comes from ONLY her upper body, and her feet dont actually glow at all, and that her legs seem faintly glowing because its shining down from her head. If she was a Star her entire body would glow including her toes haha! Also in Rebecca Sugars drawings she has a more visible gem and her eyes are darker, which is probably what she looks like when shes out of her ship!

I have a theory about White right now. White tells Steven "Did you get it out of your system?" and acted so calmly. White knew everything. She knew about Pink being Rose and everything in the rebellion. She just saw it as a tantrum, like a teenage rebellion. So she let Pink think everything was going according to her plan. She had to keep Yellow and Blue out of the loop so they wouldn't go get her. That would explain why there's a giant crowd ready to greet their return. It would also add a reason for Yellow and Blue to join the crystal gems against White.
If she did know the entire time that would definitely make her the ultimate villain, letting Blue and Yellow suffer as much as they did with the loss of Pink.

It even feels like she knows everything that happened with Pink judging by the way she reacted to Steven She feels oddly similar to someone like Monika in that vein, someone who acts friendly and warm but you know there's more to them than that...
Except in the end, Monika was a pretty decent girl corrupted by her programming as president and knowledge that nothing in her world was real. White has none of those excuses. She's not programmed to act the way she does. She just does it because it suits her.

I have a theory that the white diamond we see is not actually her appearance. I theorize that she is not pristine but in fact dying and broken, like her planet, like her pearl. Not only is the white diamond we see standing stoke still but it sounds like she's running a recorded message.

The development within this story line will be way too good! on that note if you take Yellow and Blue which makes green and added Pink you get a sorta off tone brown coloring add white to that and its a murky dark diamond that of the lightly tented scale then you have a near colorless diamond with the next on the scale being the totally Colorless diamond Which is what we are dealing with in Whites case.

That actually makes a lot of sense. In her telling of Roses story, garnet said the diamonds "unique in their flawlessness" which always confused me because blue and yellow are obviously very flawed. If your theory is true then blue yellow and pink ARE the flaws and white tried to make herself flawless.

I believe White Diamonds 'glow' isn't due to her being a star, but because they are in her ship! As Steven is in the Pink Diamond Ship his legs are glowing , and the same goes for White! You'll see that her glow comes from ONLY her upper body, and her feet dont actually glow at all, and that her legs seem faintly glowing because its shining down from her head. If she was a Star her entire body would glow including her toes haha! Also in Rebecca Sugars drawings she has a more visible gem and her eyes are darker, which is probably what she looks like when shes out of her ship!

I have a theory about White right now. White tells Steven "Did you get it out of your system?" and acted so calmly. White knew everything. She knew about Pink being Rose and everything in the rebellion. She just saw it as a tantrum, like a teenage rebellion. So she let Pink think everything was going according to her plan. She had to keep Yellow and Blue out of the loop so they wouldn't go get her. That would explain why there's a giant crowd ready to greet their return.
