I hate to say it, but christian and Trent just don't have the energy and perhaps persona that makes ultimate adventure for the viewer. Nothing against them, but half the time they talk about something I end up thinking of how Rick would have said it. Like " I really liked the part where we drove here through all the scenery and then where the blue bronco almost rolled, but didn't" I could totally Imagine rick mentioning it closer to "Today was a great day with some scenery you only catch in alaska including the rare flying Bronco, which we are thankful didn't roll, and now we have this beautiful campsite on the river for and epic day 2 of Ultimate Adventure". I really appreciate that Ultimate Adventure is continuing, but for me I don't think I will ever enjoy it like I once did.
Love that ole scout.... We were watching this at work and I turned to my friend and said I would pick an old scout with a cummins... just then he said, you mean like that... and it showed up on the screen..... Episode 1 of course.... would be a great time.. Cheers from Montana....
I would have liked to see some build bio's, personal bios, and some more in depth of fixing like did pewe fix is ring and pinion? Who's driving freds old double ended wrangler?
Love that the majority of the vehicle's were old or very elderly and should have known better, and that there were some old favourites from previous UA's, may there be many more.
Nick Ing dazed & confused I think mostly the body’s are old. I’d bet the engine, drive train, suspensions etc are all top of the line aftermarket products.

This is my home. I go a couple times a year during the winter. The summer is a terrible time because of the silty mud. It gets into everything and destroys parts...
To fix your rig and gear: pack a few bottles of superglue/box of baking soda (mix for ultra-strong water-proof material that sticks to anything instantly), roll of duct tape/epoxy (heat up epoxy, slap down tape) and a bottle of gasket shellack (hot surfaces). Bond, plug, repair, fabricate, clean/neutralize anything-even your teeth.
I call it bear fishing. You take a ham and a halibut rod. You walk your bait out a couple hundred feet and let it sit. You can even put a little bell on the tip so you can do usual camping stuff. When you have a nibble you just set the hook and hope for the best.
Finally soke real trails! Yeah there are bottomless holes in the wilderness trails around here. I've had to fish out a few in my time. LoL I felt bad for the bloke to cleaning it. LoL
@MotorTrend Channel, why is the UA 2019 being posted to UA-cam first and not the motor trend app that I am paying a monthly subscription for? I am ok with it because I do enjoy other content on the MT app, but I originally subscribed specifically for UA and DED. Just curious why MT app subscribers are not getting the first wave of access, it seems in MT best interest to make the subscription beneficial rather than posting some people’s most anticipated show of the year for free on you tube first.
I think my Jeep would make it with a little help in some spots but it’s a 1992 wrangler renegade with no mods except for a cold air intake witch makes it burn gas faster 🤦♂️
With a name like Jesse James I figured you be all for strapping on a saddle to the roof and riding it out... Or is it Jessica James? Lol I kid, speaking of kid, my 9 yr old daughter wants to drive that bronco. Oh and if you're wondering how my 9 yr old daughter knows how to drive off road, check out UA 2006 part 2, I'm the tan Jeep YJ trail leading in the dunes running the camera crews around and leading it in the St. Anthony dunes, they camp out at my buddies ranch and I give some play by play when they are trying to get through the first mud hole. And at my buddies Army Surplus store.

Free content? You mean I get to watch this without adding MotorTrend plus to my modest and economic streaming collection of Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Hbo, Disney +, UA-cam Premium, and Apple TV +?
@Game Bred Duramax It might end up being more expensive for some but we all have the choice of watching and paying for exactly what we want or don't want. That's the beauty of it.
I'm impressed that guy in the JK did the whole thing backwards.
Yeah ricks jeep is trippy lol
yea, maybe cause someone strapped a bag of stuff to the windshield ;)
I thought the first couple times he was backin up to make another run
That thing is a piece of junk!

I LOVE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE!!!! I LOVE VERN'S F-150!!!! AND ALL UA PROJECTS!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!
That old Ford Pickup is a beast!
Agreed!
That truck has a lot of history with Petersen's.
Old Ford trucks are unbeatable
Thanks!
F250... maybe around '76?
Awesome to see Cole & Frankie got to hang with the Ultimate Adventure crew...
There both great guys...

Ah, so that’s why it’s called a Bronco.
Love watching the UA videos each year, but no Pewe hollering out "DRIVER'S MEETING!!!" at the break of dawn? Kinda miss hearing that.
Yeah an stuff all from fred
The Ford Econoline van was by far, my favorite rig in the group!
The Old Willy's Wagon is the coolest !
That drone shot at 15:02 is a beautiful piece of cinematography......had to be absolutely breathtaking to actually be there!
What's the cheapest I could get something capable?around here rust is horrible
Scenery can't be described with words.thanks for cleaning it up
It would have been a great time for a flyover close up of all the vehicles.
Ultimate Adventure and 4WD Action. We need a crossover please!
The DMAX visits Alaska...
Dirty 30 2.0 would show every jeep how its really done
I would have liked to see some build bio's, personal bios, and some more in depth of fixing like did pewe fix is ring and pinion? Who's driving freds old double ended wrangler?
Is that FSJ a chopped its gotta be with that tailgate.
I agree, would like an extended length video to show more of everything.
I was just thinking the same thing while watching this ep!
They were in the magazine, and are online at www.fourwheeler.com/ultimate-adventure/
7:08 that van was putting those purpose built rigs to shame. XD
Greatest place to be in the world, and I live here

That van was sick
That Jeep Ute looks like it had the tray imported from Australia 🇦🇺
Awesome Episode! Keep up the Great Work Y'all!
Always happy to see the TUG TRUCK!
Weird not having rick in charge an fred right out in the background for once
Rick hasn't been in charge since 2015...
Very nice places, and awesome machines, all, news and olds, fantastics preparation and equipment.
Regards and Best Wishes from Copiapó, Chile.
I want to see more of the Quigley van!
7:30 thought he would come out and make a joke "Pissed MYSELF!!" lol
Great series such a diverse in vehicles 60/70s and early 90s off-road rigs. Far better to watch than 18 to 19 boring jeeps getting stuck. 👍
Wow that trip will be something i will put in my bucket list very nice
Agreed! Just bought my first jeep. It's a project but this video definitely has me extra excited about it
A little wild Bronco riding, just living up to its name,
Bronco meaning in Spanish, " a bucking horse"
Gonna do this one.day! Just got my first jeep. 1975 CJ5 inline 6 4.2 with 4 speed 4x4
Did he just call Trent, "moron" ? LOL Oh, wait, that was "more on..."
Lots of nice capable rigs!
such an epic event,,,, the views are wow!!
Need more of that first gen cummins action 🤤
Awesome on my bucket list for sure

All of those rock-crawling tires in mud :/ Probably needed some Super Swampers. I got a new idea for a sponsor for next year!
Pine trees (3:30)? There's your local "expert" for you.
It's a quick and easy way to tell that someone's not originally from here, but we still let 'em stay. :P
Strange filming. Only glimpses here and there of the rigs. Would love to get a good look at them and know something about the builds.

I might be wrong but did I see the first woman in a UA trip video. Good deal. And a van. 😀
Well someone has to do the dishes.
There have been other women. There was a woman copilot a few years back.
We had a female co driver back in UA2006,. In the yellow Toyota Land cruiser
4schitzangiggles I know I’d seen one before just couldn’t remember the year
this is so awesome
Everytime I see the bronco guy he is either about to flip his truck running out of gas my lord
I would suggest having a block as well as the jack (2 points of contact) when under your rig with a wheel and tire off like that.
No idea why so much money invested into those trucks but no one does portal axles.
Got yourself a buckin bronco
"made ya look" :)
There are lot of rooms to circling around that mud hole yet they don't use it. It's not inside of the south american jungle anyway. Why bothers?
....."bear proof".......he's a funny man huh? LoL
I Love this!!!🤩
What size are the sx2's on the white LJ?? Looks like they are working awesome in the mud!!
Found it in a 4wheeler article 37x12x17.
Why did UA 19 air on UA-cam and it’s still not posted on motortrend on demand
It is now.
Needs more Rick pewe and Fred
Which awning did Cooper use?
Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I added the like to bump it from 999 to 1k
I turned ya over from none, to one 😅
Whats that air intake on the Voodoo LJ?
Plz bring the Toyota FJ40 back for next year
I want to see Cooper wrestle a bear
You gotta get your protein in but you're out on'a TRRRAAIIL
Eureka is out of Palmer not wasilla🤦🏼♂️
No street legal rock buggies this year?
First. Idc if this isn’t a thing. :)

Adam Northam not likely.
Not a good idea tbh. They would be snapping tie rods and blowing up axles like no ones business

Cooper’s ram Cummins is missing
Could you have found 2 more less-enthusiastic individuals to host this?

You guys are still pretty far from tundra
how do you get to join the event?
Looks like either local guide or a Motor Trend alumni/sponsor.
In the magazine they have a sign-up / application. There is a list of requirements for your vehicle. The bronco was a reader rig.
Can I come?
