  • Previous episode of this adventure: • Epic OVERLAND ADVENTUR...
In this second part of our Anza-borrego desert, Bradshaw Trail and Sedona Arizona trip, we set out after getting hammered by a thunderstorm to cross many miles of desert and then head North to Sedona. We encountered a lot of weather along the way and meant we were going to be getting muddy for many miles. We found some great camp spots along the way, encountered a few creepy crawlers, tackled some fun trails and just had a great adventure. #jeep #overlanding #travel

What I love is my 12v tea kettle, 12 v Coleman 40q cooler, 12v electric blanket and 12v mini hotlogic. With the mini hotlogic I can cook a meal while I am driving to my next mountain top. I stopped bringing a cot. After all i’m overlanding in a 2dr Wrangler. I bring a ton of gear but I can still take the roof down. This June I will be taking a 200 day road trip to 30 of the most homeless cities in the US including Anchorage. Love your channel. You have given me so many good overlanding tips! Thank you!

Normally, outdoor enthusiasts distain "new mines or industrial development" in our wilderness playground....YET, once these industrial ventures become vacant, we absolutly love exploring them. In fact, we want their preservation as a piece of history. Kinda ironic, but I can 100% relate.

The video quality, the narration, scene cuts, etc. It is AWESOME, well done. As fellow UA-camr with almost 400k subs, it shows how you pride yourself in the content that you put out. A few years ago after Overland Expo I had a revisit to Sedona. I was at the Oak Creek Market when the Slide Rock Fire broke out, closing the canyon to Flagstaff. At the same time there was a big fire down along 17 and that way out was a mess. I headed back up Schnebly Hill, the only good way out of town. I camped not far from topping out. What a show watching the wildfire erupt up out of Oak Creek Canyon and make a night time run across the high terrain about 15 miles away.
I have a couple cool rigs, an 03 Ram set up, and a fully set up 2000 TJ. Just picked up a 17 JKU and have been watching your mods and reviews for references. It's a new animal to me. Found a used gem with 15K, 2.5 AEV dual sport lift , 4.88's, an auburn e-locker, & 34x10.50 bfg's. Taking lots of notes on builds to keep it stealth, yet a trail runner like my other two. Good stuff ! Enjoy the vids.....maybe catch you out there. Peace~Out !

What a great video. Thanks Brad. Marco did not make just ordinary Fish Tacos, but with Trader Joe's Wild frozen Tuna. How cool is that? As for the Colby Valve Emergency Valve Stem kit...already ordered. Thanks, didn't know about them. However, when I blew last time a valve in Anza Borrego (damn those long TPMS valves) I just put on the spare on top of Diablo drop off and J&T Tire in Borrego installed a new valve in my tire for..can't remember exactly..$15 or so the very same evening when they were suppose to close. Big shout out to them. Next set of tires is going to see standard valves only, not TPMS anymore. They are so much shorter and safer out on the trail. And no, I am not going to stop for Pink Jeeps in Sedona because usually I am faster than they are anyways. Last time on Broken Arrow, 7 of them came towards us. Though the drivers were always very friendly, that really made us not wanting to do that trail anymore, despite the wonderful views.Too much pink traffic. So glad to see you guys had such a wonderful scenery when the sun came out.

Thank you, Brad, for sharing this video! Wow, I miss driving up to Sedona on my motorcycle on Hwy 89. I use to motorcycle camp all the way up to Four Corners. Sedona is so magical and I've often thought about moving there. Your adventures got me started in converting to overland camping now that I've turned 72 and the physicality of backpacking has gotten a little too difficult for me, specially on trips involving elevation ascents. I've been on a couple of simple adventures so far and I am hooked! If Marco has a cookbook I would love to acquire one. That's my favorite activity on my outings...experimenting with foods. I made a Thai stir fry dinner on my last camp out.

I can't believe Marco's Jeep hasn't tipped over somewhere. It looks so top-heavy!

What a fantastic run! We don't get a lot of rain in AZ but when we do it completely changes the landscape and I can only hope for rain next time I do Broken Arrow. Hopefully see you guys again soon!

I can't believe how lucky were were to get that rain, just made the trail that more special. Can't wait to get back to AZ!

Great video! I love Sedona. I live in Phoenix so I frequent there several times a year for both jeeping and mountain biking. Its such a beautiful place. My jaw drops every time I pull into Sedona and I've been there countless times.
