Loved his answer about the prisoners at GITMO when he was on JRE with Tait Fletcher. Joe asked what about the prisoner that's been at GITMO for years? Do we send him back now? Andy says "No we kill him" Tait Fletcher says "you just killed Nelson Mandela" Andy's like "what"? Wrong. He's no Nelson Mandela smfh.

Mike brother hang in there, your body will heal, it just takes time and effort. Try to sleep 8hrs per day, go to bed early, wake up early. Eat nutrition dense foods. Move the limb or body part you have injured. Try some cannabis edibles for your pain control. If you are not disable or in too much pain workout hard 3-4 times per week in a cross training like setting. Dont give up.

He has been an inspiration in my like telling it......How would a say a more modern way of saying the hard things ; the way my Grand-dad would tell me how to approach life.( God, Country, Family) The war stories remind me of my Grand-dad (Army Bataan Death march Survivor), and the times he would tell me bout those things(rarely) from time to time.

52:40 I was injured in the line of duty in the mid nineties.... Almost 40 surgeries later, still not fixed. Chronic pain 24 hours a day. And find myself walking on a hospital floor by rooms with people a hundred times worse than me. Leaving that place telling yourself suck it up buttercup you have no right to complain, people have it a ton worse than you. I find the whole experience therapeutic as hell. God bless our service member's past and present, LEO's and 1st responder(s) everywhere.

I seriously don't get how people think that the military is fighting for "our freedom". That's just rubbish.
Heresy? First off, I am a veteran, so I'm not anti- military. In fact, my eldest is a USMC Captain.
Our guys in the military are some of the best and brightest our country has to offer, so it's not a knock on them personally. I love the guys I served with and always will, but.....
There's no fighting for freedom. Take a good frigging look and tell me, heck tell YOURSELF that you're more free today than we were in 1980. Not a chance. Since 9/11, this country has become less and less free and it's getting worse.
The military is full of great guys, but they aren't keeping anyone free

This was back before Andy had made the rounds on the podcast circuit and started his own podcast. Early on he didn't dive too deep into the fact he was with the Command. He still doesn't really dive too deep into his DEVGRU time other than when he got wounded and a few other key missions.

True men of honor and courage. Thank you for your service. It sickens me to hear people talk about the likes of “Caitlin” Jenner being so courageous. Then you hear from true men like these guys. We need to ask ourselves as a country, “which way is our compass pointing”??????
