Got a few questions. Do many bugs get in the top with a light on up there?, Does the inner touch your face due to the shape? That’s one thing I’m worried about, I’m 6 foot. Does the inner come with the tent from pack backing light? And does the winter inner have enough ventilation for the uk in the summer up on Dartmoor. I hope it doesn’t get sweaty or forms condensation. Thanks
Hi Mate,
In terms of bugs, the time of year i filmed this, there weren't that many around, and I'm normally quite careful about only putting lights on once all the doors are shut etc to keep them out. There's enough room for me to stretch out without the mesh being in my face and I'm 5'11 so i'd imagine you'd be fine, theres actually quite a bit of room on the diagonal so imagine you'd have plenty of space. The inner is included if you get the right package off of backpacking-light. Think i have the summer inner, but imagine you can regulate either inner to have air flow using the zips.

Question.... Did you have much ash on your tent, I had a trial of a stove and there was ash on my tent..

No I didn’t, if you have a good spark arrester it should stop that! Also depends on the fuel you’re burning, and the wind conditions I guess! Also as I said the flue for this is pretty tall so any dropout should float away nicely!

How long does it take to get the stove going and does it feel really toasty?.

Not long at all, some burning tinder and shove some wood in and it’s away! Yes indeed, super cozy and nothing compares! Obviously it’ll cool down after an hour or so of burning out so either have to keep it going through the night or have a good sleeping bag and mat as well!

Yes this was an extra, pretty cheap though, also from backpacking light! Check out their website 👍🏼 obviously this makes it nice if you’re not using either the stove or inner 😊
