Beautiful stove, I wish that I could afford the Winnerwell Nomad large and install it in my 1967 GM TDH-4519 city transit bus so i can finally have heat. I'm disabled and unable to work anymore so I live on a very fixed income and it takes me forever to save up enough money to buy anything i need. Maybe by next winter (2025) I'll have heat and could cook without having to buy propane. I really enjoyed your video and I subscribed to your channel
Cheers, buddy. Thanks for stopping by and supporting the channel. This stove is very expensive, but it's definitely quality and a game changer for sure. Hope you manage to get one sooner than later, pal. Take it easy.
Hey Ste my good man. Thanks for dropping in and checking the video out bud. Looking forward to some colder weather to get the benefit from it 😆 Have a top Christmas m8. Take it easy.
Great stuff Sir, like your relaxed style, I see a lot of similarities, and just ordered the stove to go with my TentTipi. One of my Q’s was whether it came with the spark arrester and your video solved this for me. Thank you and take care !
Beast, you got that right. LOL I have the Winnerwell medium Nomad and just love it. Brother your wife bought you a sweet stove. Merry Christmas my friend.
If you you want lightweight portable bud, I can highly recommend the winnerwell titanium fast fold stove. Weighs nothing folds down very compact. Take it easy bud.
I can say that with the logs I burned in the video and no more burned for more than 1.5 hours! As it was going dark when I wrapped up filming. I think the distribution of air holes throughout the stove makes a big difference when compared to a traditional front vent stove. This one burns more like a home style log burner. I will report back in a future video when I have more use from it. Thanks for stopping by pal. Take it easy.
Im glad they brought back the Nomad with the double view glass. I was looking at getting the Woodlander, but the windows seem small on it. Im also really glad to see Winnerwell have some internal double combustion. Curious if the other new stoves have that, like the new Woodlander and the Pentagon. Keep up the good work. Cheers
Hey there Techlore thanks for dropping in. This stove has a lot more combustion potential and features in general thany other Winnerwell and any tent stove I have owned previously. She is a very solid unit which is very reassuring. I'm not sure how I feel about the external air feed at the moment. When I eventually get out to use it, I shall report back. Thanks for the comment. Take care.
Hello, and thank for your great videos! Remarkebly good presentation! I saw your video about the "5M Kokoon Deluxe Bell Tent with Chimney fitting - 100% Cotton Canvas - Olive Green" -was great one- my question is does the 5M Kokoon Deluxe Bell Tent with Chimney fitting has another hole for the air flow pipe? If not how to do this safely without damaging the tent.
You do get a pipe ring that fits to the tent wall. Installation is required, but all I do is open a mesh window a little dlfeed the pipe inside and zip the window back up. Easy as that. Thanks for the kind words. Take it easy.
Hello mate. They have Christmas earlier in your neck of the woods then?...lol. That is a really nice bit of kit and you were right it does something I'd never seen before. That should be the mutts nuts in tour new tent mate. Pricey though, no wonder I didn't get an Aston Martin in my stocking...lol Watching this video has convinced me I made the right choice when I was deciding what to get you for Christmas though. Please give my regards to the beautiful J. I hope you both have a wonderful Christmas. Be safe and be lucky man.
😂 When I hit the big time Wol I will buy you one in 2 colours 😆 it is a great bit of kit Wol probably best I have used out of all three now and to think the titanium stove cost just as much as time of purchase! Bonkers! Looking forward to using it in the new tent soon. I'm excited now 😂 been watching the vid to see if I get any tips! 😂 Have a brilliant Christmas Wol. Take it easy bud.
That looks a nice expensive piece of kit but what about that trolly ste? Have you done a review on it looks perfect for lads to push to camps😆 Merry Christmas buddy👍
Hiya bud. I have had it for a couple of years pal. It does it's job. Can take a load up to about 50kg. It's easy to push or pull as the wide wheels don't sink into the mud. It comes with a canopy too 😂 think they go for about £150ish good for carting gear around or collecting firewood. Merry Christmas to you and the lads m8
Thanks for stopping by and watching bud. I was also surprised, but the quality is on point with this particular stove. So I'm chuffed. Merry Christmas.
They haven't implemented the removable plate in this design. If I'm correct, are you referring to the one you can find on the frontier stove? I cannot remark on the smoker "I'm guessing you mean the one this fits in between the chimney sections?" As I haven't used one. I'm guessing it would work in the same way as the others. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors yes, its the tall oven, I think they call it the smoker. Sits on the cooking surface, not in the chimney section. Would seem this new design doesn’t allow the smoker to work but everything else should. Still a bit confused as to why they removed the circular plate part though. I am in the market for a Nomad but will have to buy the single window one as intend on doing a lot of smoking
Hey there buddy thanks for stopping by. I can honestly tell you I have no worries about this stove heating the northgaze tent. In fact it may be overkill haha. I also have the winnerwell fast fold titanium stove and that heats the rock fortress easily. Thanks again bud. Take care.
great video. ive been looking at this stove for my tipitent. but my stoveplacement is in the middle by the centerpole, so a pipe laying across the floor isnt ideal. can you use this stove without the external air pipe without trouble? no other stove has this big double glass. the stove im using atm is a robens kobuk, great stove but i would really want to see the flames from all angles. the new pentagon stove looks great, but the cooking surface seems to be abit small for my taste.. warm greeting from Sweden
Thanks for commenting Zoran. You will be pleased to know that the stove operated perfectly well without the Flexi pipe. There was plenty of oxygen supply for the fire to burn. I suppose it's just the same as a traditional design tent stove with the air inlet on the rear instead of the front. The glass does set it apart from others on the market 😉 All the best.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors thanks for the fast answer mate. i will buy that stove in the future then. just need to "use up" my robens stove :P its not stainless so its quite rusted after a few years of use! btw how is the warping on the stovetop? ive hear that stainless tends to warp abit. my robens iron stove is 100% flat still, and ive had it glowing red many times!
@@ZoranBerntsson The stove top is still flat.........but! The bast of the stove does have minor ripples after the first burn. Rather the base than the top though 😆

It's a propper beast mate , very nice 😍
Cheers buddy, it's definitely a tank of a stove. Puts some lovely heat out too! Have a great Christmas buddy. Take care.
Nice stove! That will be very useful on a cold winter's day!
Nice review Ste. Cheers!

Nice stove. I love a wood fire. Having the glass to watch the flames is great.
Can't wait for the supposed snow we are "supposedly" get this week so I can use it haha.

Hey there. Thanks for dropping by. I'm glad the video was useful for you. It's a well-built stove, and winnerwell is a great brand. Take it easy.
Beast, you got that right. LOL I have the Winnerwell medium Nomad and just love it. Brother your wife bought you a sweet stove. Merry Christmas my friend.
That is awesome! The winnerwell team know how to build a stove! Was you aware they were actually Chinese!? I was not haha. Merry Christmas bud.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors They are out of Qingdao, China.
I need to invest in a wood stove for my polish lavvu. Great gift you got there, bro. 👍

@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors I've actually thought about that one
I think it looks fantastic.

Hi steve, wife to be did good with this purchase, looks a stunning piece of kit, merry Christmas you & the family steve, best wishes for 24, 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for dropping in Mark I hope you and yours have a fantastic Christmas and new years. Hoping for snow now 😂.
Sweet looking hit tent stove right there 👌
Cheers Joseph pal. Merry Christmas.
How long of a burn time do you get with the new design? The original has about a 2 hour burn time when packed

Have they removed the circular plate part on the top plate? How does the ovens/smoker work in comparison to the normal nomads?
