Hi Barbara! Thank you so much! I learned how to decoupage on rocks! I gave many away and I leave some around for others to find! In fact I need to do more now that we’re getting into warmer weather in the northeast. Thanks for watching and have a great day! 🙂 - Joan
Wow. I have checked out several different peoples techniques for decoupaging and you have the easiest one I have found so thank you. I’m going to be visiting great grandchildren and I want to do this with them and hopefully get the rest of the family involved as well. ❤ My first time here and will be subscribing to your channel.
Hi Dorothy! This basic video is a great place to start your decoupage crafting. You will create something beautiful too! Let me know how it goes! 🙂 - Joan
I just found your channel, learned about the different mod podge products through watching Plaid Crafts. I was going to try this with some small flag stone pieces and use the outdoor mod podge. Can't wait to see how it works. I'm starting to collect tissue paper and napkins.😁 I just subscribed and look forward to your future videos. I'm going to check out your past videos too. Thank you.🤗💐
Hi Lynda! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! Outdoor Mod Podge is not waterproof, it is water resistant. For outside I like Rustoleum or DuraClear. Btw..I just left a piece of decoupaged flag stone in Colorado! Gonna see if it makes it thru the winter! Have fun! - Joan 🙂
When applying a napkin to something like a bottle, what’s the best way to apply when you get to the neck of the bottle or vase? Cut the extra napkin material if any?
If I decide to do the napkin designs on Ceramic tile, and I use mod podge, what kind of sealer can I use were a hot cup of coffee or tea will not stick to the tile? Thank you kindly.
I don’t make mine for hot beverages so I can only tell you what others are using. One is clear high-heat engine spray and Polyvine which comes from the UK and it’s expensive in the USA It has 3 shells on the label.
Thank you for doing this video. I am going to do this one. Would you please add products used and where you purchased the napkins? You are an excellent teacher. ❤Mary
Do you go back over it with mod podge after it dries for the petticoat technique? I thought I remember seeing you dab it on top of the napkin. Thank. Just learning.
Thank you for making this video, I tried to go and buy from your links but it wants me to sign in. Im automatically signed in. Is there something else I can try? Sincerely Shannon

Hello! Thanks for this video! Very helpful! If I am applying a napkin to a smooth, glossy ceramic tile, do I need to prepare or paint the tile first?
I like to put a coat of chalk paint on the tile as the napkin will adhere better - Joan

When applying a napkin to something like a bottle, what’s the best way to apply when you get to the neck of the bottle or vase? Cut the extra napkin material if any?
Hi Laura! I don’t fo the neck of the bottle. You can just tear smaller pieces of napkins. Sorry I can;t be more helpful! Joan
@@JoanMarieDomino no it’s ok! So just use enough napkin to reach the top of the bottle or vase……
Where do you find those cute napkins?
Vippies Designs Napkin Shop www.vippies.com
Can you use a perfume box?
Most things can be decoupaged. Give it a try!
Pretty Kool ..now what else can ya use ,can you use wood or does it work on pretty much any thing
Hi! I have tons of decoupage diy videos using a variety of materials Joan

I have leftover clear primer/ sealer. Can l use this as a sealer for modge podge projects?
If the product is used as SEALER and is WATER based. Check the label - Joan 🙂
@JoanMarieDomino thank you! It's definitely a water based sealer.
Then you’re good to go! 🙂
@JoanMarieDomino thank u so much in your prompt reply! Too many unanswered questions! For treating your fans like we were important!

Hi! All product info is in the description box under the video with links! Napkins from Vippies Designs www.vippies.com thank you for watching! 🙂
Christmas Tree Store and TJMaxx have great napkins
Do you go back over it with mod podge after it dries for the petticoat technique? I thought I remember seeing you dab it on top of the napkin. Thank. Just learning.
Hi! You can go over the top with Mod Podge. After the Mod Podge dries you can then put a couple coats of sealant like Rustoleum or DuraClear. - Joan 🙂
@@JoanMarieDomino But do you need to or just on the back is sufficient? Thx
It’s up to you. If you’re putting rocks outside or are going to handle them a lot then give it a coat of sealant.
❤
Thank you for making this video, I tried to go and buy from your links but it wants me to sign in. Im automatically signed in. Is there something else I can try?

Hi Shannon! I went to one of my links and I was not signed in as well. I am also automatically signed into Amazon. Not sure why this happens. 🙂 Joan
Great video👍 thanks for sharing 😍
Thank you so much Karen Ann! - Joan 🙂
How long do u let it dry before applying a top coat of mod pod
I wait at least a few hours before putting a sealant on top. I don’t use MP as a sealant.
@@JoanMarieDomino what do you use as sealant thank u
I like DuraClear brush-on and clear sprays from Krylon and Rustoleum 🌻
Thank u for imput
