@oceanpoet1 Hi there! You can definitely put a separate acrylic coat on it (spray sealer), but you can also leave it. Mod Podge is self-sealing!

I do collage with small pieces of magazine paper. This anti-wrinkle plan here wouldn't work for what I do. Is there a a best way to keep smaller pieces of less-stiff types of paper?

It's easy to smooth out the paper pieces on canvas with a finger when they're this small!
Hi so I am Mod podging my puzzle and it is my first time using it. I am kinda nervous because I don’t want to mess it up. What is the best way to do it for my puzzle!! Also should I put something under it????

I use old calendars and I used water and it rolled up on me? Spray instead.
If it rolls up on you, just unroll it. There shouldn't be that much water on it.
Can Mod-Podge be used to put light-weight cardstock onto a plastic waste basket?
Hi, I read on her blog that you can't use mod podge on many plastics. Do a test would be the likely answer, but probably not.
@starlightsovereign is right you'd have to do a test! Sometimes it helps to sand the plastic a bit for grip.
I have a lot of trouble doing drawer liners. I stick them down and there's no bubbles but when i seal it the whole thing bubbles up. Drives me nuts. Im using either wallpaper or wrapping paper.

Make sure to use a lot of Mod Podge on that first layer and wipe away the excess. Smooth with a squeegee or credit card (be gentle). Let dry 15 - 20 minutes then apply a top coat!
@beaversz Hi there! You can use any clear acrylic sealer. Yes you can paint on Mod Podge. All Mod Podge is transparent. And yes you can apply Paper MP as a finish. No worries! :D
@bandita43 It does work with those, but yes, mags take a bit of extra special care. I would practice a bit with those!
@sky4va, you can get it at JoAnns, ACMoore and then shortly at Michaels. I love mine!
@PhoenixPhire22, Mod Podge is more of an art medium to attach one thing to another (though it does seal things as well). Sounds like you need just a clear coat - not Mod Podge. I would return it and purchase a glossy acrylic spray sealer (just in a regular spray can). There is regular gloss, but there is also high gloss. Thanks!
Hi rum559 - the secret is #0000 steel wool between Mod Podge layers. Just sand lightly! Then spray clear acrylic sealer after the last coat. Thank you!
Hi americher - it's called a brayer. You can get one from Michaels.
Does this work with all paper products? I use a lot of magazine advertisements, and the slick paper from the magazines is especially prone to those awful wrinkles.
The best way to avoid wrinkles for very thin surfaces is to mist lightly with water first. Then this works very well!
@@ModPodgeRocks I don’t have a brayer. Can you recommend a substitute? ..a rolling pin maybe?
@@jazzmoos5382 yes a rolling pin would work! Or some people use credit cards/old gift cards. Hold at an angle and smooth. You don't want to push as hard with the card as you would a roller because the edge can tear up your paper.
