    Made one of these for a friend out of stainless however I didn't bother with the cut out as this creates a weak point where the bolt eventually breaks. Just have to assemble the lever on the bike.

      Hi Peter. Missing in this video is that we also didn't mill that cutout into it at first, but then did later on as it was too fiddly for him with the extra ball bearings. I thought it should be ok with the very minimal rounded cut we made as opposed to the square cut across like the original broken one had. We'll find out how it goes in any case and I'll be back making another if it craps out!

      @@Ducati900SS It will be fine if you used the right material. I made a couple for my Sport and SS from 4140 CrMo steel, both with rounded cutout. A square cutout creates stress points at the corners and is not ideal. The rounded cutout makes removal and refitting so much easier.

      @@DM750S And there's the problem right there... I need to find a way to get some stainless steel for machining! I'm still at the stage of begging for offcuts or scraps :)
