FUN FACT: the light pole sence in Singham was shot on a famous place in Goa.. and after the release people used to go there and break light pole everyday like the movie so they had to remove them permanently

@@fancy3774 no the stunt was fake... but because the place where it was shot was open for public some idiots thought that they can copy singham FOR FUN and they had to shut down the place completly
@Shubham D we all know the stunts are fake. But if indians have start to pull those stunts in real life like you've said. Then i think soon india will be like their movies. No physics, no gravity no newton's laws.
That's interesting 😂

Yup I was surprised when I saw this on wikipedia.
Jesper Kid should make more soundtrack, the OST from AC2 was bloody excellent! probably the best in the franchise.

It took just above 750,000 USD and made like just over 3x that so 2.2 million I think

It's great, right? Saw second Pirates movie, CGI in this film is so great as it could be back then. Shit, it looks even better than modern blockbusters
Gollum and Davy Jones were (and still are) some of the best digital characters every committed to film

Tumbad is the most underratted movie in Bollywood it literally defines the Indian horrer by implementing our Indian elements ... Let me tell it is far away better than an average horror movie
It's Top notch work ..
No it’s not. Average flick at its best
What do you mean that influence Indian elements? Like it's a horror film based on like some sort of classic Indian folktale or something? Because if you're telling me that that's unique for an Indian horror film, then that's genuinely surprising. I may not know much about Indian culture, but I would have thought that would be a little more common, you know? Not super common, but common enough that it wouldn't only happen in an underrated flick.
@@MrGamelover23I get what you are trying to say, and yep. You would be surprised at all the Indian horror movies which do not have any indian elements except just Indian people. Most horror movies here do not contain any actual Indian stories or folk lore as you said. Tumbadd was actually 🔥 I was taken back by how for the first time an actual indian movie, did not try to copy western culture and instead create something unique themselves. Who would have guessed, the story was pretty amazing. 👏
The most important detail in context of tumbbad was that it was made on a very very low budget , it was pretty much an indie film , considering that , the CG is pretty well done
Funfact: Singham means Lion, that explains the random lion roaring sound fx
and the slapping
Lion with a bell perhaps. Explains the bell chime on every hit.
More fun fact: singa is malay for lion, which is sound nearly the same because they both ( singham and singa) derive from the same meaning and nearly the same sounding word for lion, in Sanskrit. Simha (common) or sinh (runner up).
