All these vfx shots becomes appreciable when you factor in the budget.
Not really when you see some youtubers doing a better job with minimal budget.
RAONE was one of the few movies that actually delivered considering the budget.

Bollywood is the Hindi Film Industry... which is just one of the languages of India, specifically North India. These are all South Indian movies and not Bollywood. However, nowadays, the lines are starting to blur because all Indian film industries have started to massively collaborate with each other.
The last war scenes of Bahubali: The Beginning 🔥🔥🔥
I just love the self-aware approach they have towards these absolutely insane movies and their plot(s), sequences and set pieces, the characters (Especially the lead!) and then on top of that you have 90% really high quality, labor-intensive special effects and CG and then 10% of hilarious jank, I'm beginning to think they know EXACTLY what they're doing and it's part of the draw of these films, love it 😂

@indian Odia as well - Daman movie when India defeated Malaria.
@@atrixsauza2068 They know it , watch the episode having I movie.
Actually in India there are different film "woods" lol. Bollywood is mostly Hindi, Kollywood is Tamil, Tollywood is Telugu, Mollywood is malayalam and so on. Thunivu for instance is primarily a Kollywood Film where as RRR is Tollywood. But obviously they get released in other languages too.
So my suggestions would be:
1. Bahubali 1 - Placing statue under Waterfalls, Bull Fight sequence, Statue rope holding and Final Battle sequence
2. Bahubali 2 - Opening Chariot Sequence, Battle Bull sequence
My additional suggestion would be "Climax Fighter Jet" sequence from Kollywood film 'Beast' staring Thalapathy Vijay.
They did acknowledge this in one of their other Bollywood react videos...I think their exact wording was "there are several kinds of woods but Bollywood sums it up nicely."
U forgot Sandalwood, U know Highest grossing Indian movie of the Year KGF 2,

They know already. At this point they're deliberately saying Bollywood. Not to trigger you people but because having to correct oneself of the entire subcontinent's respective 'wood's' is far difficult than the cgi that they came to review which is the whole point of the video in the first place especially for a person who's don't refer to the various woods on a daily basis.

4:10 saying a movie made in a different subcontinent was "inspired by half dome (in Yosemite)" is the most American thought you can have. Yes, everything in the world draws inspiration from American culture and landmarks, nothing else.
There's a musical number in Baahubali 2 with some incredible dream-like visuals - it's a slow boat ride with the two main characters and as they fall more in love with each other the boat takes off and starts to fly, then it gets really interesting!
Also the final battle between the hero and villain has some stunning shots.
Not to mention that somewhat visceral scene at the end where Devasena pretty much finishes him off for good on the pyre she built. That cleansing ritual she did, walking about the battlefield without a scratch on her is crazy.

love the mention of anime being the next thing for action film. as someone who’s studying to be a film director, anime has always been a huge inspiration. can’t wait to see what films look like 10 years from now
Creed 3 I'd say is the most recent example of drawing anime inspiration for the fighting.
Also because Jordan, the director said it himself haha.
Same feeling
@@LITTLEFOOT918 yeah Michael B. Jordan is one of the directors i think is gonna push that new wave. real excited to see what he does next
The Matrix being the most obvious and stated example of an attempt at live action anime.
I'm an old girl now, so what I have to say here is probably going to sound pedantic, but when we look at things like season one of One Punch Man, DBS Broly, or the "fan-made" Legend: a Dragon Ball Tale in anime... we've got certain dedicated elements from particular artists or at the very least, particular directors AND producers (producers in animation have a bit more input/leverage than in cinema). The amount of time put in, the effort, is reflected.
Despite how they've come across recently, the Wachiowskis (I don't know how to write their names sorry) do incredible stuff with their movies, and Michael B. as many have said REALLY gets the IMPACT and MOVEMENT that anime can bring (keep in mind, many of the anime "founders" were adapting cinema from America, lol literally films like the original Rocky and the old B reel action flicks). When you have a completely virtual camera, you can nauseate your audience and have the average viewer lose their place in the film space. The same thing happens in 'poor" action movies where there are too many cuts in the action sequence, or the sequence suddenly flips perspective/angle ("crossing the line." Think in a 2D fighting game, you're on the left, opponent's on the right, and if that ever changes from the perspective of the viewer, you have to make that VERY clear. Great example of NOT making any of that clear would be the hilariously wonderful Resident Evil live action movies. Which I love. *hangs her head* I can't help it)
Even in video game cinematics, which I think many of you are experienced with, you'll note "bad" cinematics easily because they stood out, the camera was wild, things didn't lock into place, you didn't know where you were the characters were and all the movement that was supposed to be "action" became confusion and ruined the scene. (Devil May Cry 5 and Final Fantasy VII Remake being the most... absurdly incredible examples of video game "cinema" I've seen so far). Anime also has a virtual camera. The scene has to be planned out, because you're drawing the environment to suit the camera, not the movement of the camera in the environment... but the same important issues arise.
You can't just "film something." A man punches another man in the face.
What did you just say in your head after reading that?
Are you watching from the side? Are you the puncher? The man getting punched? Where does the "why" fall into place? Does that even matter? Is the "why" part of the camera? Is what's happening something we should observe or is it something we should FEEL something about? If it was in reality, chances our that our emotions would prevent us from being able to pause and even start the process of feeling anything other than shock. Your movies, your stories, are meant to be absorbed... shock can't be your only mechanism for delivering an impact.
Anime is a special type of filmmaking and storytelling. It has honed its tools over the years and knows where it can and needs to grow and improve. FILM should've been on board with this a lot earlier in my opinion, and you'll actually see a lot more influence in short films online. Check DUST, and even OMLETO (I think that's how it's spelled...?) they're sci-fi short stories that definitely bend towards more experimental story telling.
Can NOT recommend the entire Oats Stuidos playlist highly enough. Neil Blomkamp, same guy behind the Halo mov-----0-*COUGHS* I mean, District 9. His studio has some incredible anime-like shorts on their channel. HIGHLY recommend Zygote if you like horror. But anime out the wazoo.
Frankly, to the folk asking "can Creed 3 carry without Rocky?" haven't ever actually WATCHED a Rocky movie.
watch RRR bro. You'll love it (most likely). It's like a live action movie.

this was amazing, got 2 new movies to watch this weekend
Ok now I understand, for the water fall scene (dhivara is the song name) , Shiva(Prabhas) sitting near the fall, finds a metal mask which came from above (from the falls) , after sometime, he realizes that the mask is of a beautiful girl and falls in love with it. Now , Shiva who wanted to climb the range (but was not able to make the jump earlier)has an extra motivation now by visualising the women and is able to climb the falls effortlessly. The song narrates experience very elegantly, the scene follows the song and not the other way around. That is why there are these weird transition which has no place connect( at one point he is ar one place and at other point he is somewhere else entirely) . That is why the song is imp and that is also yhe reason rajamouli did not release the song before the movie( this something that makers do to increase the hype for the movie- good song leads to a good movie) but for baahuballi , the song gives out the story and that is why dhivara was not released earlier

Remembering how when me & my friendgroup went to see 2.0 in theaters how much my friend's husband hated it, but watching the Corridor dudes react to it reminds me how delightfully ridiculous it was. 😆
I also wasted my pocket money for that movie 🤣
After I watched the movie, I played the trailer for a friend of mine - who, like me, is a big movie buff with wide-ranging tastes - thinking he'd love the ridiculousness and insanity of it, like I did. But he was like, "Ugh, this is awful." Obviously not the kind of flick everyone is going to enjoy equally, lol.
The first movie had a great concept and script but bad taste. No sequels were planned. 2.0 proves that.
@@JeffreyPresstonBezos Armpit I disagree, This movie should not have existed. And a large section of an audience will not watch it without that old ass actor. It was him that wanted this film in 3D in the first place. There was no script.
@@cuckoonut1208it's not a sequel to Endiran ....but a spritual successor
I like the everytime they start analysing the vfx and all but end up watching and enjoying the movie
Bro. Indian film industry has just started the excessive use of Visual Effects. Some artists and film directors Succeed and others sometimes fail. 😊
(Btw I'm from India. And this comment is not negative or blame.)
18:24 He don't give a fuck about people cause he's 2.0 he's a bad version of the guy at first who saved people by a trampoline.
Brahmastra (which is on Disney+ and Hulu) would be a pretty cool Indian film to cover. Tons of VFX work to look closer into.
I just want an hours long video of them analyzing the entirety of bahubali 1 and 2
The one in 2.0 is Rajinikanth and he is 72 years old.
Your should react to 'Brahmāstra: Part One - Shiva' this was the most ambitious CGI movie ever in Bollywood, apparently it took 10 yrs to make and it's very good !
19:55 samsung be like: mujhe kyu toda😂
😂😂🤣🤣😂 Inhe samaj nii ayay gaa
The statue of Bhallaladeva getting destroyed in Baahubali 2 has to be a great scene for you to breakdown.
the final fight scene in baahubali 2 is by far the best scene of both movies
Worked in the shot @11:23, The actor was rigged to chase cam car and his shoes were replaced in CG. All the vehicles behind are real whereas the buildings on the either side were set extensions.
My weeks, like most I assume, are real busy. When Saturday comes around most of the time I don’t even know what day it is just what I have to do that day. When I see your new videos it helps me take a moment slow down and appreciate I got through another week. You guys are amazing hands down🙏
You guys should check out the movie "Uri: The Surgical Strike". Honestly the best military action movie from India IMO. The chorerography, the cinematography, the practical effects are insane.
2:07 that's the most dope mispronunciation of "Kóyi Mill Gayā" I've heard so far.
