i also hate it when plastic surgeons photoshop photos of celebrities to show what surgeries they would give them. it’s basically bullying. i remember someone did that to natalia dyer, it was awful.
It’s also just plain RUDE! I remember when they did that what Natalia and they got rid of her GORGEOUS jaw line and were saying how they “love getting rid of unsightly jaws.” Her jawline is STUNNING and one of her most well known features. Why on EARTH would anyone think it’s okay to do that?!?
I was going to say the same thing! It’s horrible. I remember seeing that video about Natalia Dyer too, and that she should change her jawline. One of her best features! I could not imagine being a celebrity or a UA-camr and having complete strangers criticize my appearance.
Agreed! When people see pictures of 20 or 30 something year old me, I’m always told I don’t look like myself anymore. Really? Who do I look like then? Older me, dummies! Bone loss, skin elasticity, medications, inflammation…not surgery. It’s so gross to analyze people like this.
If they’re using posts to shame someone, that is unprofessional and their opinion belongs in the trash. But I’ve seen a lot of educational content that demystifies the way we look at celebrities, and how much it really costs to look a certain way.
what annoys me the most,On the other side of discussion, is celebs that got shit done but are bluntly lying about it. Don't have to explain how damaging that really is...
@@swesttttt Why not? No one has to tell anyone else what they've had done, of course. But if we are seeing an epidemic of looks-based insecurity going through our population, how is it not our business to discuss the effects of plastic surgery on our society?
@@kumaranvij You can have a conversation around looks, social media, filters, and plastic surgery without speculation about specific persons bodies. That larger conversation definitely needs to be had, but holding up a specific person to pick apart their features isn’t healthy either.
@@swesttttt Well you can start out with a general discussion about the principles you're talking about. But it's very hard not to get into specifics once people start responding. Since certain celebrities are held up as ideals, naturally those people are going to be discussed once discussions get going. I believe that of course there are lines that need to be drawn. Cruelty is never OK. Public mockery and mockery in general should be avoided. But how are you going to have a public conversation about breast implants or buccal fat removal without talking about people who've undergone these surgeries? I for one think it's best to use sympathy and also talk about the social pressure people who've had breast implants (for example) must feel in order to get these highly invasive, dangerous implants put into their bodies. Ones that need to be maintained, at great cost and not inconsiderable risk. Breast implants must be replaced on a somewhat regular basis. What does it take for a person with a healthy body to undergo these surgeries? Are small breasts really so "bad" (how they are bad in itself is worth discussion) that a woman feels she must pay a large amount of money to have her body cut into, gouged out, and stuffed full of artificial plastic materials? Why? Which people have done this and benefitted, and in what ways? What are the psychological characteristics of those who get it done, and what are the consequences for the rest of us, especially young people, especially girls?
@@kumaranvij I think you you can have conversations, but imho the respectful way to do that is when they’re actually involved and included, you know? Rather than picking apart the body of a person when they’re not onboard and an enthusiastic participant (celeb or not, we’re all human with feelings you know?) Plenty of folks have no problem talking about their breast enlargement or face lift or whatever. Those are the people that are willingly telling their stories about why they did what they did, how it’s been impactful for them, whether or not they felt influenced by our culture of beauty attainment, etc -and that to me is much better than some online mass comment section picking apart some poor humans (almost always female) features. I personally feel neutral about cosmetic surgery in general, and view them in the same way I do tattoos… people get to make the choices for themselves and if that’s what works for them, who am I to disagree? After all, humans have been manipulating their looks since the Dawn of Time- with tattoos, piercings, foot-bindings, neck-stretching, skull elongation, cosmetics, etc etc… it’s a very human thing to do. Still, for what it’s worth, I don’t think our viewpoints are all that different… I also feel that it’s exceedingly important to discuss how these sorts of manipulations are often done for reasons that have to do with insecurity, how beauty standards effect us all, and how people manipulate their looks when presenting themselves to the world. It’s less important to do online commentary on how celeb A. has managed to look like celeb A., than the larger umbrellas about how the use of filters, makeup, photoshop and yes, surgeries all play a part in creating unrealistic “ideals” and how that gets distorted into this idea that a certain look will equate to a better life. Particularly for younger people who see SO many manipulated images and are just starting to form their own self-image, I think it’s incredibly important to talk about how those images are NOT what they’d see IRL if they were to see that same person. It’s also important to talk about our flaws, and how everyone has them. Hairy armpits, and pimples and ragged fingernails are part of everyone’s existence, whether or not they’re filtered out of those perfect images.
If someone did this to me, I'm sure they'd conclude I had 6 surgeries. I've had none. But my face looks totally different than it used to. It's amazing what weight fluctuations, microblading, contouring, skincare, and aging can achieve!
These videos have totally contributed to my body dysmorphia. I already struggle to conceptualize what I look like. Now, looking at my photos, I have different noses, different eyebrows, eyes, jawline, and seeing these videos just makes me wonder what the fuck I look like lol It’s also made me fear things like aging and giving birth, because they’re just so brutal about these things when it’s just natural. Like I saw comments about Beyoncés body after twins and I can’t imagine that level of hate and pressure being put on me at such a vulnerable time. People suck
I like my young face more. I am 30 and my eyes are so deeply hooded now that I constantly look tired. Also, my brows are so low that my lashes touch them even when there is no mascara :( And of course I lost that nice face fat.
Alex, the buccal fat removal thing really is rampant. My uncle is a plastic surgeon here in South Georgia, and everybody and their grandmother is having it done. So I can only imagine how many are having it in Hollywood.
@@adonnarowe1811 buccal is a medical term more or less referring to the cheek area/jaw line. When they talk about buccal fat, they’re referring to a pad of fat that naturally occurs under the muscle of the area. It deteriorates with aging naturally, and because it’s that deep, it is basically impossible to reverse (which is why there are surgeons and people in general who speak against it; plus it can age you). Removing it gives a more contoured look, but to the point the jaw line is hollowed out. Hope that helps.
I think it’s important that people understand that celebrities get plastic surgery often. A lot of companies, events and brands will gift out plastic surgery (think 126,000 Oscar’s gift bags from Italian getaway homes, house renovations and plastic surgery) that these expensive procedures that many cannot afford, are handed to the wearily elite. That being said, I always find it gross when people pick at others faces whether it’s to predict what they got or unsolicited advice. Because if someone did that to me, I know what I “need” but I would be so hurt if someone told me.
The only thing that I disagree with is that celebrities aren’t getting buccal fat removal because it is really all over the place right now. You don’t lose that amount of cheek fat in a couple of weeks and even so most of the people that are loosing that fat wouldn’t be able to do it naturally with their facial structure/ face shape
@@limpchees There's also two kinds of fat, buccal fat is the type of fat that doesn't change much with weight gain or loss, it's more of a fat pad to PROTECT the nerves in your face. it's meant to be there
I think people like you need to be reminded that you can easily suck in your buccal fat in your cheeks when posing your face for pictures. Actually, a lot of celebrities and models are taught to pose their face like that. Additionally, if you take a light around your face you'll see exactly what lighting defines your cheekbones drastically. You do not need to have surgery to make your cheekbones more defined in pictures. Yes, some celebrities have gotten the surgery. The issue is that so many people (such as yourself) then assume that's how every celebrity is making their cheekbones more defined, and that there's no other way to do it. You're incorrect; there are many ways to make your buccal fat disappear without surgery. Just stop assuming the surgeries people have gotten.
I like the point you are raising about the predatory advertisement techniques of these plastic surgeons. However, I have to disagree on the Buccalfat topic; I think that a lot of female celebrities have had it done. Also, I would love a video about makeup for very deep set eyes!
This 100%. Also, it is known that buccal fat prominence is not related to how skinny you are in your body. Some people can lose all the weight they want and still have prominent buccal fat.
There's just something weird and sus about watching plastic surgeons that are men critique or talk about potential plastic surgery women get. Like, in almost every case they don't mention men when men do get work done.
I actually almost didn't watch it, the side by side in the thimbnail made me think it was going to be a filter that predicted how your face would look with plastic surgery 😂
Haha! The fact you had to comment this, jeesh😂 People are done with plastic surgery! Edited to add... Remember the show "The Swan" ? Talk about sign o the times! AND, keep up the Dope content! Whatev's is what I like! 😉
I will admit, those types of videos are my guilty pleasure only because i get genuinely confused as to why a celebrity looks drastically different,I feel like Dr.Gary on UA-cam is pretty realistic and takes into account for makeup and weight-loss at least
Dr. Gary & Lorry Hill are great and make 100% clear that the celeb in question looked beautiful before and after. I appreciate that they are sharing the information so we know that we’re not ugly, just poor 🤷♀️
@@hollercat606 Lorry isn't 100% lol. She sometimes uses pictures with different lighting and makeup. But she does use disclaimers so that's great at least.
Not all the rest, clearly. But the eyes, come oooon, if your mobile lid has the same space in your 40’ s than in your 20' s, maybe Miss Gravity forgot to visit you... Yourself, being only in your 30' s are experiencing changes and constantly adapting your eyeliner' s exit between the crease and the end of the lashline. 🧛🏻♀️🖤
I disagree. I don’t think plastic surgeons are trying to influence people to get procedures by pointing out possible celebrity procedures. I think they’re instead setting realistic expectations for everyday people & keeping the public informed about popular plastic surgery procedures. Imagine if people actually thought there was a workout & makeup routine that could make them look like Kylie Jenner? Does it go too far sometimes, yeah. Are they always right, no. However, I think the net positive outweighs the net negative.
@@AlexandraAnele yeah, if that account is using their credentials to make outrageous speculations just for views & engagement then that’s wrong. I guess I don’t know which account you were referring to so I was responding based off of the accounts that I follow which I feel like put out quality work. I appreciate the discourse You are creating though.
@@CallHerTJ thank you! I gotcha. I blurred the accounts name because I wasn’t trying to send a bunch of hate toward them but it was pretty clear that’s what they were doing 😔 But I definitely appreciate the surgeons who share their thoughts to educate people so they don’t feel bad that they don’t look like that.
But where is the line? If "plastic surgeons" can sit there and guess what plastic surgeries someone has had unwarranted, can I guess how much weight you've gained in the last year or if your even healthy? Or how bad your breath is based on your teeth? Overall it's very distasteful to do any of this especially when these "plastic surgeons" could inform their audience about these procedures without dragging another person into the mix. If you want to talk about lip injections why do you need to mention Kylie Jenner? Bffr
@@TheHairiestPotter Kylie Jenner has had lip injections & she is a perfect example of why there’s nothing wrong with having an informed public. she is a celebrity with a huge following & it was absolutely wrong when she used her surgically enhanced lips to promote her lip liners & feed people the DELUSION that if they overlined they could get her results. Based on the tone of your comment though, I can tell that you’re one of those, “it’s wrong if a dentist looks at my CLEARLY unhealthy teeth & assumes that I have cavities” type of people so I don’t see this being a constructive conversation. That said, have a great day.
Lorry Hill is excellent about this type of contents! most of celebs do plastic surgery, it's literally so common among them!!! once you know more about the subject, you can see more and more the changes made and what's actually natural or what's not. She's so kind and wise and not judging people at all! totally the opposite 😊 i was so naive before knowing more about it, but there are a lot of "subtle" changes done, and the two main procedures done are rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty! i think it makes people like us acknowledge that some celebrities have money and access to a lot of things to look this ~way~ I don't think it contribues to making us doing plastic surgery but more educating us to the reality of "hollywood" Again, Lorry Hill explains things so well! 😊
Totally agree! Lorry also always points out that she looks at a lot of photos of the celebrity, from different years and also from different angles etc. She bases her analysis on this amount of research, not just one one photo. I think the shortness of a TikTok clip doesn’t allow for a proper analysis and explanation.
Totally. Love Lorry. Also, the point of her channel is not to encourage people to get procedures done but to make informed choices. And also to make people realize that comparing their natural selves to a celebrity's enhanced image isn't fair.
If people were honest about what they have done it would change the game completely. The lies and secrecy around it drive people to speculate, because we can clearly identify a difference and seek to understand what or how they did it. Whether or not we can or even want to do the same is another thing entirely.
Nah girl, she’s had work done……really, really good work. There’s nothing wrong with that either. These docs that do this “trend” generally know what they’re talking about and know the difference between dope makeup and actual surgery. Side note, they’re absolutely getting buckle fat removal. This industry is massive. Regardless, you do you and what makes YOU feel good. Surgery or not.
I understand how you feel, but also I have to be honest: you're one of the people who can't see plastic surgery. you're not wrong about everything! it took me a while and study and also years doing makeup on actors who have had plastic surgery (I'd done their makeup before and after) to see it. it's not the exact same nose -- it's a subtle, well-done rhinoplasty. subtle plastic surgery is hard to see! and it's not a criticism -- there's nothing wrong with getting stuff done.
@@piyusarkar3065 Sometimes you might need to be rude for a good reason, but it’s still rude. Calling out surgeries you can’t be sure of and possibly getting it wrong is rude, and the person talked about is allowed to be offended. To be clear though, being rude is different than hate speech, and everyone has a right to be rude.
@@piyusarkar3065 You can spread the message that celebrities often use professional make up artists, lighting, photo editing, and sometimes surgery to make themselves appear more conventionally attractive than they actually are without making assumptions about specific celebrities and commenting on their body. These are not mutually exclusive. What these surgeons on youtube are doing is pretty indefensible and just exacerbating the problem
There are some insane claims plastic-surgery wise and you’re right to point out the issue with it. But it’s important for people to know what kind of procedures are out there. More than ever we are in a beauty obsessed culture and the impact it has on kids growing up is worse with each generation as standards get higher and filters become standard. People genuinely do not know what a 50 year old woman typically looks like and are going to be in for a shock when they get older. I think there’s a balance. And while makeup can change a lot, it is not a miracle worker. Some of the things you accredited to makeup were procedural. Celebrities are well-aware of how noticeable sudden changes are modern day, it’s why they get very subtle things done that are harder to notice.
completely agree. I friend of mine recently said aubrey plaza looks so old in white lotus, and I replied: "she probably has just aged naturally and we are not used to seeing that".
Absolutely. Subtle procedures also heal faster so there's less recovery time. I don't actually think speculating about celebrity procedures is a problem if you're not shaming them for it. If anything, I think it's somewhat important to speak honestly about it so people who can't afford those procedures don't have unrealistic expectations about what they can achieve with makeup and skincare.
Most of the videos I have seen about this are addressing celebrities like the Kardashians and people who have obviously had work done, but tell their fans it's "all natural" or only from "working out." The main messages of those videos is to point out that their "perfection" is actually artificial and us normal people shouldn't feel bad about ourselves for not looking like them, because they likely spent tens of thousands of dollars or more to look that way. I don't agree with the whole "it's just because they are skinny" thing with the buccal fat. That has been a really trendy surgery for people to get and to say that it's just from being skinny might encourage people to start an eating disorder or try and lose an unhealthy amount of weight to look like their favorite celebrity who had it done. Hell, I have always been pretty skinny and my face never looked like that because my bone structure and facial fat just don't do that. Same thing happened back when thigh gaps were super trendy, people got eating disorders. I agree that makeup can make a huge difference but most celebrities want more than that since they can easily afford the best plastic surgeons and aesthetic procedures. It really is a slippery slope and the main message should be just don't compare ourselves to celebrities period.
I think there are some people who speculate for views and there are people who are trying to educate people on the types of surgeries celebrities have had to conform to the beauty standards of our times. It's letting people know they're not crazy, people's faces are changing and they are having work done so visually they aren't aging the same way we are. There was a time when I thought, "oh, that celebrity probably did lose some weight and their face changed shape" until someone showed a photo of the before and after "weight loss" pictures and their chin had grown. There's definitely a difference in the videos where someone is trying to sell you something and videos where they're telling you that people's appearances are changing with surgical help.
"people don't know about conturing" yeaaaaa no... i don't know about her but in the nose surgery world there is something called a finess rinoplasty where the surgeon would make SMALL changes leaving the idk i bump there so people would look at said celeb face and be like she didn't get a nose job her bumb is still there. a good example is scarlet jhoanson (idk how her name is spelled) and her nose has gone smaller and smaller over the years very slowly, your nose doesn't get smaller as u age
Dude, no, she's definitely had a "blef". You can see on her earlier photos her left eyelid is hooded to the point where there is no visible lid when she looks straight ahead. She used to wear bangs to this side to cover it. I only notice it because my eyelids are super uneven, too.
@@cynthia6238 Yep, I'm 48 and have always had hooded eyes and I can assure everyone that they only get more hooded with age. Gravity can't be undone with make-up!
@@cynthia6238 Yeah, I mostly do fun, colourful eyeliner on my lower lash line and keep things simple on top. I didn't bother wearing eyeshadow at all until recently, but I found a technique I enjoy doing so much that I don't even care if other people can barely see it!
Your point of view is interesting to me! I've been watching a lot of these types of plastic surgery videos...and I find them kind of comforting because I feel better about my own natural and surgically unenhanced appearance. So they kind of have the opposite effect for me!
I 100% agree! Most people who is disagreeing with you is because that type of videos are their guilty pleasure (and I honestly think they make them feel better about themselves), but celeb or not, it should be nobody's business if they have any work done or not
I don't get how you can be like "it's been twenty years" on the one hand but not realize that also means twenty years of aging that you can't see on her face. Have you considered she might've possibly gotten surgery to maintain her natural young look rather than to change her appearance? Cause that's what most people do..
I can understand your perspective and even agree with a few aspects of your concerns. What I don't agree with is making statements that someone hasn't gotten plastic surgery when we as people have zero qualifications--not even an iota of a qualification to determine whether someone has or has not gotten a procedure. It is an equally slippery slope to dismiss the possibility that someone has gotten a particular procedure because the mere notion that "all" celebrities can't get surgeries is fallible logic. Buccal removal is rampant in Hollywood, and the diminishing of the buccal fat on people has skyrocketed in a small span of time. Am I missing something? Is there a gene I'm not aware of that all of a sudden, everyone's buccal fat has disappeared, making everyone appear gaunt and modelesque despite their BMI not changing? Blanket statements don't help the psyche of normal people who are constantly having these people with popularity, power, and money constantly shoved down ones throat as the pinnacle of beauty standards. Oh, and don't forget they were born this way not made! As people, we are being dictated what's beautiful. Either we hate ourselves (don't get anything done) or acquiesce. When there is an explanation offered about these said people that are being shoved down our throats, it allows for a more balanced perspective where people don't have to oscillate between extremes.
I was diagnosed w/stage 4 colon cancer in April 2019. I had some people that I saw on occasion come up to me & and tell me I was model skinny and were jealous, how did I do it? I just said “Chemotherapy & radiation! It’s great! You should try it.” 🙄I haven’t seen them since😁👍🏻❤️
The problem is that plastic surgery has been pushed and promoted by celebs for decades. It’s nothing new. It’s a status symbol and an investment. And they’re rarely honest about all the treatments and procedures they get because they don’t have to disclose anything unless they’re compensated for that promo and they are insecure about whatever they changed so the less attention the better. For example, just because someone receives PR does not mean that the creator/influencer has to disclose that it’s PR unless they’re being paid to promote that product. Technically, it should be disclosed if an affiliate link is used but a lot of people don’t 🤷♀️ I’m bothered by the over usage of ozempic and the shortage which affects diabetes patients - weight loss, unless you are obese, should not be treated with medication because of the side effects and the longterm health risks medication can cause.
Agree. The Kardashians claiming to never have anything but filler is bullshit. That’s not weight loss. That’s not weight gain. It’s a lot of makeup & a lot of work. Same with Megan Fox my goodness. She was just fine before she went full plastic goth Barbie! The ozempic thing is really gross too for vanity weight.
It just about trying to normalise having procedures whether it’s true or not. I’m just pleased Nicole is still around. Thank you for standing up and talking about this and bringing it out into the open. I appreciate it. I agree with you about it all. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe. 👏👏👏❤❤❤🤩🤩🤩 Edit: I did have to have plastic surgery on my face as a dog mauled my mouth whine I was younger. It was painful.
The actual point of revealing procedures or unretouched pics is make very young generations who live in such an unreal underworld of filters open their eyes and realize that celebs look how they look because they went through procedures and try comfort them, to stop them feeling ugly and frustrated because they don' t achieve Bella' s face just by recreating her hairstyle and make up. It supposed to be a reality bath with the message: You are perfectly ok, stop comparing and feeling like a sh*t because YOU ARE NOT. The surgeons you talk about are encouraging people to go under the scalpel????😱😱😱😱😱
This is what I thought! That they were making those videos to show people that in most cases, it's unrealistic to look that way without surgery and to not feel bad that you don't naturally look like that. Not to promote surgery.
exactly!!! just the other day i had to show my friend a picture of bella hadid before her plastic surgery cause she didnt even question her looks and had put this celebrity on a pedestal
Some surgeons may be doing it for one reason, and some are doing it for the other. You don’t actually have to say “come and get this surgery” for that to be your intent.
I'm SO glad you decided to talk about this. I had to wait awhile after I got the notif to watch it because of how mad this stuff makes me. People's bodies change, makeup and lighting and angles change. I hate that this behavior is being excused as "education" like yes be honest to young impressionable people about the EXISTENCE of filters and plastic surgery and what not. But this nitpicking, speculation hyperfocusing on real people's bodies as this sort of "gotcha" activism leaves SUCH a bad taste in my mouth. It also leads to serious topics of like medical privacy, and assigning morals to people's bodies which is the whole thing we're trying to avoid. If someone has to defend their nose job by revealing some horrible or traumatic thing that caused them to need reconstruction just so their private medical procedure can be seen as "acceptable" by the general public that is genuinely vile and unforgivable. Stop bullying people for their medical history and let them be comfortable in their bodies
Also love how much attention you put on the aspect of these accounts actively trying to sell you something. (Which also makes the education excuse extra gross in my opinion)
I love all your videos but I especially enjoy the ones where you do your makeup and talk about something - doesn’t matter what. While those tend me to be longer videos, I feel like we’re just friends chatting and I get to watch you do your badass makeup which is super relaxing. 😊 Regardless, love your content and appreciate your craft. Do you boo. 👊🏼
No hate but plastic surgeons literally see those differences every day, they are ones making them. I think they will recognise it better than us regular public. Subtle well done surgery and procedures are a thing, we are just so used to the obvious ones being on display.
A lot of the more popular accounts who do this on UA-cam aren’t even plastic surgeons though, and doctors can still speculate erroneously. But I do think it’s funny the more popular UA-cam gurus who make claims of other celebs surgery have no experience with it other then getting it done themself 😂
@@GirlScoutCookies420 Yeah, but it is the same as Alex is doing here, speculating. I personally don't really care who does it, it's not that serious at the end of the day, but I do think that plastic surgeos still would be more trustworthy on this.
I like the idea of before and after so people can see the potential results from procedures. But doing so with consenting people and confirmed procedures is incredibly important.
Celebrities will never consent to these videos because that would ruin the Hollywood facade of perfection and glamour. It’s sad but it’s true, they’re all lying to us and mass exposure is the only way
Chrissy Teigen admitted to having her buccal fat removed. She's the only celebrity I can think of who's openly posted about it. I think a lot more are having it done though, it's just such a popular procedure right now. It's everywhere.
I think this kind of “side by side” is very helpful for people that feel negative about their bodys, so they can see that it’s not a shame, but it’s normal. And i wish that will also start some compaignes to raise awareness about having plastic surgery because this thing is going way too far
A friend of mine always had a round face until she had a baby. Now her cheeks are so different, you could think she had buccal fat removal, but she never had anything done. I agree with you, those kind of videos are really annoying. 💚
Always love your take. I don't watch plastic surgeon videos like what you are talking about. I only follow Lorry Hill (who's not even a surgeon), largely because her analyses are super well thought-out, and she stays so positive. Regarding Nicole, whatever she has had done (be it surgery or other procedures/skincare), she looks great. Now, I'd argue that the buccal fat removal **IS** a trend. I used to work in a plastic surgery office, and I was talking to one of those surgeons just the other week about anything different. (She moved from the mountains to the east coast.) She mentioned that she had done more buccal fat surgeries last year than all her previous years combined.
Also buccal fat is barely affected by weightloss, so I wouldn’t be so quick to say that these people are already skinny and that’s why their faces look chiseled. These people are the same body weight but suddenly have sunken in cheeks and look ten years older and i am 100% it cannot simply be attributed to losing weight. Statistically plastic surgery has never been more popular so idk why you find it hard to believe that everyone and their mom are getting something done
This is so absurd! The 'before' picture of Nicole is when her catch phrase was "that's hot!" Things have changed for that woman. I'm 45 now and I look better now than I did 20 years ago because I can afford better makeup and skincare. And I know some makeup tricks that make all the difference. C'mon! Yes, celebrities have procedures done. I can't imagine the pressure to look a certain way. But you're right, these plastic surgeon reactions are purely meant to line their pockets.
I totally agree with you! I’m nobody but if I would be celebrity I have no doubt that they would say I had so many plastic surgery done (I have none). I’m 35 and I look so different from 15 years ago. My cheeks are sunken (so definitely I have had buccal fat removed)! 🙄 I was chubby and young! And now taking pictures I slightly lift my eyebrows so my eyes would look more awake and not so tired! It’s just aging. People’s faces change with time!
You don't think any celebs got the buccle fat removal? Alex, that's very kind and generous of you. But...clearly they have. There are so many examples that are obvious. Bella being just one.
I think this is an area outside your expertise. It takes a trained eye to see finesse plastic surgery. She's absolutely had a rhinoplasty and a blepharoplasty. You can see the change in the underlying cartilage of the nose, and the reduced ptosis of the upper eyelid skin. Plastic surgeons are trained to understand the natural aging process
Totally agree! Some celebrities have obviously had work done, but genetics, puberty/aging, makeup, skincare, health (alcohol, drugs, eating disorders or chronic illnesses), and weight loss/gain can make a HUGE difference. Some people will always look similar, while others will change drastically over time. That's life.
I FELT THIS!! Sometimes I open ig and there's people comparing celeb looks from their past to now and bullying them for any possible surgery, skin color, etc.
na ok bella a few years ago was very skinny but her cheek were there, now her weight did'nt flactuate but somehow her face now is suuuper hollow, there are model born with that she didn't and if u are willing to get your first of many nose job at 14 the jump isn't very far from buccal fat
I’ve never left a comment before but I just wanted to thank you for making this video, and ALL of your videos. Nicole Ritchie is my favorite beauty inspiration because she has the same downturned, protrusive eye shape as mine and she rocks it so boldly with her bohemian style. She has definitely slimmed down and learned how to use makeup to make the most of her features, even while aging. I’d love to see you do a video of one of Nicole’s bronzy 70’s makeup looks that she is rocking these days!
I don't know man.... I can SEE the differences outside of angles and lighting and makeup. It's a matter of mm of change, in the nose, the eyebrows etc. Having asymmetries in the face is not a sign of a LACK of surgeries. It's very typical to keep some imperfections to avoid that uncanny look. It's crazy that we would think someone like Nicole Richie isn't getting work done. Let's not pretend. Her nose isn't the same, it's sharper, but I would have to see more of photos to say for sure.
I am SOOOOO happy to hear someone else talking about this. Most surgeons nowadays promote their procedures on social media using this type of deceptive and predatory marketing stratergy. What's worse is the volume of content creators now using the same strateg by 'exposing' celebrities 'alleged' procedures. I personally think it's immoral and defammatory.
Absolutely agree. This is just a new technique to draw new clients and sadly, it works. I'm so happy that there are more people who talk about this new social media nonsense
I kind of disagree with you. It’s impossible that the eyebrows and eyes stay on the same position after 20 years time. Most of this people with immense amounts of money take care of their image and do preventive procedures. I don’t do anything to my face because I can’t afford the best doctors and fear of getting botched 😂
This has also been driving me crazy for YEARS, thank you for bringing this up! I WILL say though: it is kind of a double-edged sword. While a lot of what these tiktok surgeons claim is surgery is actually just makeup a LOT of celebrities do also, often, get plastic surgery, fillers, expensive skin care treatments (etc.) and it's important for people to know that it's not all natural and real. Like the Kardashians to me are a perfect example of both ends of the sword. Most of the HAVE had procedures done (which they deny, and that's a whole other issue) but also a lot of what is claimed online to be them getting surgery is just good makeup and contouring, especially when it comes to more invasive procedures like jaw reshaping. I think that either way people need to understand that celebrities have a whole arsenal of makeup artists, dermatologists, cosmetologists, and sometimes plastic surgeons... and, whether its surgery, fillers, or makeup, a lot of what we see online isn't "real" which is why so many people have unrealistic expectations of what they should look like when they look in a mirror. 💞
Love love love you! For years! And, buccal fat removal IS a thing. Especially in LA. The surgeons I've seen are generally advising against this removal. Many will no longer do it. As a costume designer/wardrobe stylist I'm unfortunately privy to more details about this kind of thing than I would like. And I'm personally not in favor of radical surgery. Buccal fat removal is very invasive and not reversible. People should understand that. Having it young will leave them looking like the corpse bride at 40 and beyond, which is, of course, as you say, when the face will have definitely changed anyway. Like you i hate a specific person being picked apart. That being said people should be aware that often the looks they may aspire to are the result of surgical "enhancements". It's sad but it is true. Thanks for all that YOU do to educate and show us all how to make the best of what we have. It's invaluable, you are the among the greatest in your field! Please don't veer into reaction videos...your skill level is so much higher than that.
Hi Alex, thank you for pointing out this terrible trend of tearing peeps facial looks apart as it definitely encourages people to think about having procedures done! I enjoy watching 'Botched' as they do perform miracles. I watched one recently where a lady had her breasts due to cancer and they were supposed to rebuild her breasts & boy they made such a mess. This poor lady's life was ruined and I don't mean slight vanity wise. After the plastic surgeons had finished and they had a tattoo artist replace her nipples, it was amazing! You should try & find it. This is the type of before and after procedures I like to watch where they genuinely make someone's life better! Also they turn people away who want silly surgeries, for instance, to look as plastic as they can or to expand their boobs until they almost hit the floor 🤦🏻♀️ Anyhoo always enjoy your content, thanks for taking the time to do it! ❤
I get where your coming from but I think your a little off. I live in Mexico and that buccal fat thing is super popular and from a person that has seen so many people have that procedure done I can tell when a person got that done! And most celebrities have!
I hate how this normalises body augmentation, something that was rare and just in the celebrity world is now filtered through to the everyday woman thinking they need to get 'some work done'. My daughter when she's depressed will hyper focus in on an area of her body that she feels needs changing, time and time again my advise is, "if you still want this work done when you're happy I'll 100% support you, but don't get it done right now". She's not had anything done except learn how to apply makeup, with many tips from you, so thank you for that Alex ❤
LORRY HILL'S channel. The best, most accurate break down of plastic surgeries. Sometimes she misses the mark a little bit with a celebrity analysis I don't think it's by much. She's very knowledgeable and I find her channel super interesting. I also think her videos are important to watch if you are a person who has eyeballs and you like to use them for scrolling on social media.
Very interesting! One thing to consider with the side-by-side images is that our faces are not symmetrical, as you mentioned. It goes further than the eyebrows, too. In general, the left side of our faces are more expressive emotionally. That will change things over time, such as how deep lines are on each side. Also, the left side of the face catches more sun when you're driving. I can definitely tell the difference in my face, even though I've used sunscreen forever. I've only ever watched Dr Gary Linkov's YT before & afters (he doesn't do side-by-side). He seems to be very ethical, but a couple of times I've wondered if he's mistaken contour for filler. Buccal fat removal seems to be fairly drastic & hard to mistake for contour. Anyway, thanks for the food for thought. 😊
I watch him as well and I think he's gotten better now with spotting make up, bless him 😂 I can't remember which celebrity it was, maybe Salma Hayek? Anyway he claimed she had something done and I was like... no. Still, I watch his videos because I find it interesting and he does a very neutral commentary. Not to tear anyone down, but to simply show what's getting done and how subtle changes are still surgeries even though celebs claim to be natural.
I agree about his videos. In the few I've seen he never said anything mean, and looked at photos through the years rather than comparing 2 photos 20 years apart. I also like his messaging to girls that a) you don't need to have any of these supposed procedures to be beautiful b) here is the insane cost of all of these named procedures through the years and c) so many of the surgeries require upkeep procedures on top of it. In such a plastic surgery happy world, I appreciate a video that makes me happy for the face I was born with!

I believe that each and every celebrity has done some work.. Nowadays, it's rare to find a natural face.. Everyone is doing some tweakments.. Even normal ppl..it's like getting their hair done. Obsession with looking young, attractive and trendy is getting out of hand.. Just everyone is denying it and blaming it on makeup.. Makeup can change the face in the 2D pics not in videos not in real life.. I like when plans surgeons are explaining how celebrities are enhancing their faces.. Because celebrities are creating impossible beauty standards and making the public feels that they are just ugly. (even though my personal opinion is that I love the beauty of a natural face way more than any "enhanced " face.
Are you her personal friend???? She has had plastic surgery just like all celebrities. People calling it out is a good thing! I used to feel horrible about myself because o didn’t look like those people. Knowing that they had hundreds of thousands of dollars in plastic surgery by the best surgeons on earth. We can’t be expected to look like that! I love your makeup content!
I agree, I don't think that a lot of these surgeons are being honest and are using celebs for marketing. I LOVE Lorry Hill's approach to this topic. She is super transparent about her own plastic surgery, and does extensive research on each celeb she discusses. I don't think she always gets it 100%, but her intention is to show that it costs a lot of money to keep up with the Hollywood standard. It also gives clarity of what is real and what isn't, and a lot of her followers feel less compelled to do plastic work because they see that celebs have imperfections too.
I agree on how frustrating it is when flawed and inaccurate speculations are made on what procedures a famous person may or may not have had done for all the reasons you said: makeup, age, angle, lighting, clothes, weight and any other ridiculous amount of variables. I mean it makes me think of scammers and at the same time who's fault is it really if a person falls for their scam? I have watched handful of videos by Lorry Hill who has had several procedures herself and has some videos speculating what a person has had done and how much it costs on average. She does it in what I think is a very kind and observant way and with pretty good side by side pictures.
All I do is follow Alex's makeup advice and suddenly everyone thinks I've have a nose job, brow lift, lip injections, lid reduction, chin implants, yadda yadda. I ain't had shit bruh. Unless you want to count the 8 years I spent with orthodontic braces- fair enough. But truly these days I just watch Alex a lot and I'm not afraid of ageing anymore. Looks good don't it 😇😌
Chrissy Teigan did admit to getting the buccal fat removal and claims that she loves the way it’s made her look, so I think people ARE getting that surgery, but how drastic that looks depends on these people aging, or dropping weight, or the lighting/make up in the photo.
Yes, Alexandra! You are right. I generally think it's gross to analyze people's bodies and faces to judge differences, whether its the result of procedures, weight and health changes, aging, childbearing, wealth/poverty, or even relationship and psychological situations. (Substances, malnutrition, abuse, major depressive episodes, and trauma can all impact how we look in tremendous ways sometimes leaving lasting alterations.) Yes, people need to be aware that everything is a highlight reel and comes with editing (including real-life editing being makeup, shapeware, and procedures). But, WHO actually would enjoy anyone dissecting how they look? That just furthers the picking apart of our bodies. It continues the drive to look at people as a sum of their (body) parts. It reinforces the ideas that there can be something wrong with our bodies just by APPEARING a particular way and not just that but now we're so picky as to care what our eye lids look like? That used to be a thing only racists were picky about (obviously still completely wrong when it was "just" that). Those entertainment tonight type of accounts and those surgeons commenting and speculating on real, living people's bodies are making people aware that certain procedures exist--that there are new perceived flaws even if/when they are attempting to "pull back the curtain" of perfection. The public feeling duped and harmed by the illusion of perfection of celebrities is the same public which demands perfection of the celebrities, criticizing every visible poor or line. Enough with all of it. We are not commodities, and we are all worth more than the appearance of our body parts whether they are consciously altered or not.
I am a Prosthodontist and not a plastic surgeon but even in my eyes I can see that she definitely had a rhinoplasty. I cannot speak for the eyes because too far away from area of specialty 🤣. But no MUA on this planet can change the distance between her nose and upper lip and get rid of the bony ridges on either side. But as I said I am not a qualified surgeon 🤔
I hate this new illusion that if someone has any type if “favorable” trait then they definitely had work done to the point that natural people are being bullied about their own bodies
Thank you for clearing that out ! I always hated this videos (but still watched them🙄) cause why are making money out of someones image, plus showing the before and after, they are still humans. This shit can hurt a lot to point this things out. And i was fooled by them which is even more infuriating. So thank You 🙌
Although I can see how it would be uncomfortable for a celebrity to watch a before/after of themselves, still Celebrities profit of their image, and influence the general public's perception of beauty. I worry more about the harm that creating unrealistic beauty standards does, than the discomfort a celebrity might feel by one of those videos. Let's be real, famous people do plastic surgery to get the public's attention, so it wouldn't make sense to then be picky about the kind of attention they receive. Being talked about is literally part of their job (not that I find that a good thing, but it's a fact)
I have also noticed that with the introduction of selfies I have began raising my eyebrows even when someone else is taking my photo because that's how I look less sleepy. It's become a natural reaction. So when I see surgeons looking at someone's teenage photo from early 2000s and comparing them to photos from these days and saying, this person done a brow lift, I think, nah, she had just opened her eyes more and lifted her brows for the photo not to look sleepy.
You're spot on. When I had my lash extensions removed, my esthetician freaked out at how hooded my eyes actually are. My lash tech was so good she gave me mega lashes that made my eyes look huge, angled upward and was able to hide the hooding.Honestly, I looked younger too... She is a genius and a "dope" artist. I had them removed so I can play with eye makeup- go figure. Now that I realize how much I've aged and how damn hard it is to do it for my old eyes (lol) I'll be getting those babies put back on, and do as you showed a while back - play with waterline and lash line make up! Love your take on the world 🌎 ❤️ 💕
the cold hard truth go the matter is this... celebs are doing it all it. They're getting injectables or surgeries AND other skin treatments AND using good products AND utilizing makeup techniques AND using good lighting. Makeup can play with lights and shadows but it can't change the underlying structures of the face. So I think your assumptions are def accurate but we also need to consider that no celebrity or high profile person is relying solely on makeup and lighting. The issue really is these professionals coming online and sharing just one part of the (alleged) puzzle and either ignoring other factors or they don't have the right info. Even worse when aesthetic clinics try to say a celeb achieved results from injectables when it was clearly more invasive.
Omg! Can you please react to makeup looks that you think are super dope and maybe explain how people can do those things? You’re such a good teacher and have such good taste it’d be great to hear and learn such things from you!!
Guuuurl yesss! I totally agree! Shame on any person to comment on another person's looks. Especially when they never even seen that human in person. Must be shit surgeons if they have to rely on bashing peoples looks to make money. It's bullshittt!
I really like ur take, especially ur opinion ob plastic surgeons doing these "analysis" (speculations), when they clearly have an incentive to get people to get plastic surgery and they are clearly reaching for any possible surgeries with angles, makeup etc. I personally watched some videos of people who know a lot about plastic surgery doing "analysis" of celebrities faces and bodies and I kinda liked them because they focused more on educating people on the fact that some celebrities "get help" with their physical appearance and breaking down unrealistic beauty standards. Just a different side of the coin
When we look at Hollywood celebrities, this is a very naive take, imo. From what I can see, people *appreciate* these surgeons/people within the field pointing out the subtle changes over time that most likely is due to some kind of procedures. They know how ones face change over time naturally (nose getting bigger- but never smaller, loss of fat-but the buccal fat usually stay the same size, etc), but also how it changes with surgery. I think it´s important that regular people know that this is being done; and not to believe the celebrities blindly when they say they had nothing done.
My face can change daily! From bloating to change in weather. Especially when it comes to my eyelids. There are many factors that can change your face.
I would say better just stop obsessing over ourselves and others appearance all together no matter in what name. In my long experience of ed and body dysmorphia people saying "you're slim" and "you're fat" does pretty much the same to my psyche😓
On the buccal fat point - you can get a partial buccal fat removal or full. A celebrity example of full removal would be Margot Robbie, who has maintained the same weight throughout her career. A good plastic surgery analysis will take body weight into account. Lorry Hill always does this, and always points out weight loss. Some people can be as skinny as ever but just don’t lose weight in the buccal area, this is why this surgery exists. And yes, PLENTY of celebrities are getting it. It’s not just weight loss. ESPECIALLY if that person is young. We lose buccal fat naturally as we reach the late 20’s and 30’s but no that doesn’t mean you’re going to look like Bella Hadid. Also Bella Hadid had wayyyy more than just a nose job and brow lift… again, watch Lorry Hill’s video on it.
like i dont doubt that the things you say about the makeup are also true! but that doesn't mean other things didn't change. skin loses elasticity and faces lose fat in certain places.
i also hate it when plastic surgeons photoshop photos of celebrities to show what surgeries they would give them. it’s basically bullying. i remember someone did that to natalia dyer, it was awful.
Agreed! That is crossing the line.
Oh my god SAME. That is just appalling. :(
It’s also just plain RUDE!
Conversely though, celeb or no, it’s nobody’s business who gets what done.
Yes our face changes with age. I know mine has big time. I like my old face better than my young face.
There are SO many factors, it makes me so crazy when people draw conclusions without any context
Not to mention filters, lighting, angles, photoshop and “approved” only photos.
These videos have totally contributed to my body dysmorphia. I already struggle to conceptualize what I look like. Now, looking at my photos, I have different noses, different eyebrows, eyes, jawline, and seeing these videos just makes me wonder what the fuck I look like lol
It’s also made me fear things like aging and giving birth, because they’re just so brutal about these things when it’s just natural. Like I saw comments about Beyoncés body after twins and I can’t imagine that level of hate and pressure being put on me at such a vulnerable time. People suck
I like my young face more. I am 30 and my eyes are so deeply hooded now that I constantly look tired. Also, my brows are so low that my lashes touch them even when there is no mascara :(
And of course I lost that nice face fat.
Alex, the buccal fat removal thing really is rampant. My uncle is a plastic surgeon here in South Georgia, and everybody and their grandmother is having it done. So I can only imagine how many are having it in Hollywood.
They're probably having it done in Georgia BECAUSE all (not all but still) celebs are doing it in Hollywood.
@@nancykerrigan right!!
people will stop soon when they realize the madness of that procedure.
What is buccal?
You don’t lose that amount of cheek fat in a couple of weeks and even so most of the people that are loosing that fat wouldn’t be able to do it naturally with their facial structure/ face shape
this. you lose fat evenly across your body.
Yea buccal fat is the hardest to lose, sometimes it's not even possible without removal
@@limpchees There's also two kinds of fat, buccal fat is the type of fat that doesn't change much with weight gain or loss, it's more of a fat pad to PROTECT the nerves in your face. it's meant to be there
This! BFR epidemy is the new BBL.
She has a video on eyeshadow for deep set eyes! Maybe that's what you're looking for?
Hey guys, watch just one minute of the video before you decide who or what I'm criticizing
There's just something weird and sus about watching plastic surgeons that are men critique or talk about potential plastic surgery women get. Like, in almost every case they don't mention men when men do get work done.
@Alexis Gill so true!
I actually almost didn't watch it, the side by side in the thimbnail made me think it was going to be a filter that predicted how your face would look with plastic surgery 😂
One celeb that one trillion percent got buccal fat removal in the last week even is Liam Payne, former One Direction member!
@@hollercat606 you speak the truth lmao
I hear you, there are plenty that do that and I agree with you in that respect. This account definitely wasn’t doing that tho.
She's so kind and wise and not judging people at all! totally the opposite 😊
i was so naive before knowing more about it, but there are a lot of "subtle" changes done, and the two main procedures done are rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty!
i think it makes people like us acknowledge that some celebrities have money and access to a lot of things to look this ~way~
I don't think it contribues to making us doing plastic surgery but more educating us to the reality of "hollywood"
Again, Lorry Hill explains things so well! 😊
Totally agree! Lorry also always points out that she looks at a lot of photos of the celebrity, from different years and also from different angles etc. She bases her analysis on this amount of research, not just one one photo. I think the shortness of a TikTok clip doesn’t allow for a proper analysis and explanation.
Absolutely love her!!
Lorry Is the best!
Came here to mention Lorry too, she's amazing. Debunks the unrealistic beauty standards
Totally.
Buccal fat. They’re not removing buckles from their faces, although that would be entertaining 🤪
I understand how you feel, but also I have to be honest: you're one of the people who can't see plastic surgery. you're not wrong about everything! it took me a while and study and also years doing makeup on actors who have had plastic surgery (I'd done their makeup before and after) to see it. it's not the exact same nose -- it's a subtle, well-done rhinoplasty. subtle plastic surgery is hard to see! and it's not a criticism -- there's nothing wrong with getting stuff done.
its still pretty violating and rude to make these types of comments and assumptions about people.
It’s possible you’re right; I think her main point still stands.
@@botanicalitus4194but telling young people that those faces aren't as real is important as well, don't you think?
@doom3798 I agree, I don't think she has aged badly, she looks normal
Whenever I've seen people commenting on the buccal fat removal trend, they have usually cautioned against getting it done.
Noses and ears actually grow with age
Dude, no, she's definitely had a "blef". You can see on her earlier photos her left eyelid is hooded to the point where there is no visible lid when she looks straight ahead. She used to wear bangs to this side to cover it.
I only notice it because my eyelids are super uneven, too.
I’m almost sure she had it. She’s gaining real estate there as she ages and that is impossible to achieve without plastic surgery.
@@cynthia6238 Yep, I'm 48 and have always had hooded eyes and I can assure everyone that they only get more hooded with age. Gravity can't be undone with make-up!
@@JutaStokes I’m 43 and have hooded eyes too, I know it gets worse, I can’t even wear eyeliner now.
It’s great! You should try it.” 🙄I haven’t seen them since😁👍🏻❤️
You. I like you.
I don't think it's celebs pushing it as much as it is the culture of youth pushing it. If you dare to age naturally - later....
@@teri2466 Celebs don’t actually say anything, it’s an industry standard. Younger generations are just copying what they are observing.
@@danicee That's what I meant by the culture of youth 😊
Yeah I've never seen a surgeon using this type of video as a way to encourage people to do it, personally. 🤷♀️
Thiss
exactly!!! just the other day i had to show my friend a picture of bella hadid before her plastic surgery cause she didnt even question her looks and had put this celebrity on a pedestal
(Which also makes the education excuse extra gross in my opinion)
thank you for this down to earth content, it's calming, like a feet rub and a matcha latte after a long day
I love all your videos but I especially enjoy the ones where you do your makeup and talk about something - doesn’t matter what.
Subtle well done surgery and procedures are a thing, we are just so used to the obvious ones being on display.
totally agree
precisely. yes almost every celeb has had a nose job because they have ones that are so subtle we don't even notice.
But. Surgeons are often not familiar with cosmetic tricks. They can be fooled. Makeup can be a bit magical that way when done right.
I’m legit laughing out loud at this because it IS so absurd. Loved this vid Alex you have been killing it w content lately!
Thank you for this. I love how refreshing this channel is and how un-fake you are Alex. Respect
I FELT THIS!! Sometimes I open ig and there's people comparing celeb looks from their past to now and bullying them for any possible surgery, skin color, etc.
Your shirt is 90’s GORGEOUS! Love it… Thank you for your videos 👏💕
na ok bella a few years ago was very skinny but her cheek were there, now her weight did'nt flactuate but somehow her face now is suuuper hollow, there are model born with that she didn't and if u are willing to get your first of many nose job at 14 the jump isn't very far from buccal fat
YES! Thanks so much for this video!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Don’t speculate yet you’re speculating 😊
I kind of disagree with you. It’s impossible that the eyebrows and eyes stay on the same position after 20 years time. Most of this people with immense amounts of money take care of their image and do preventive procedures. I don’t do anything to my face because I can’t afford the best doctors and fear of getting botched 😂
Glad you don’t hate on people. Refreshing. Stay dope my people - with or without “said” tweaks. ❤
And most celebrities have!
check out lorry hill. I used to think it was all ageing and makeup. It’s absolutely insane how may procedures they get.
There is a doctor on yt that does this very competently. I think it’s a legitimate topic for discussion.
Truth...!!!! Thank you so much for this video!!!! 💜
At the same time tho, it's gross for someone to make assumptions about other humans because celebs ARE humans..
Thank you so much for doing this. Shame on these doctors- first, do no harm. Is it actually possible they don’t know how harmful this is?
Looks good don't it 😇😌
I LOVE your eye makeup….it looks like velvet on your eyelids😍😍😍😍
Chrissy Teigan did admit to getting the buccal fat removal and claims that she loves the way it’s made her look, so I think people ARE getting that surgery, but how drastic that looks depends on these people aging, or dropping weight, or the lighting/make up in the photo.
Thank you for making this video! The culture needs it. SO. BAD.
Right, her bulbous tip is gone in her current photo and you could see through contour if it was just that, if you really stare at a certain area
Starting off annoyed with an angel on your shoulder… I’m here for it!
I want to see/hear more of your reactions, you are spot on!!!
I hate this new illusion that if someone has any type if “favorable” trait then they definitely had work done to the point that natural people are being bullied about their own bodies
If it's possible to get bullied regardless of whether or not one gets work done, might as well save our money right lol?
Thank you for clearing that out ! I always hated this videos (but still watched them🙄) cause why are making money out of someones image, plus showing the before and after, they are still humans. This shit can hurt a lot to point this things out. And i was fooled by them which is even more infuriating. So thank You 🙌
Although I can see how it would be uncomfortable for a celebrity to watch a before/after of themselves, still
Celebrities profit of their image, and influence the general public's perception of beauty.
What a great idea!
Yeah love this idea - quick fire looks with tips
Well put Alexandra, thank you for pointing this out.
thanks for saying that - it is important, especially younger people ,understand and have an insight to bigger picture.
Guuuurl yesss! I totally agree! Shame on any person to comment on another person's looks. Especially when they never even seen that human in person. Must be shit surgeons if they have to rely on bashing peoples looks to make money. It's bullshittt!
Thank you for discussing this ❤
I really like ur take, especially ur opinion ob plastic surgeons doing these "analysis" (speculations), when they clearly have an incentive to get people to get plastic surgery and they are clearly reaching for any possible surgeries with angles, makeup etc.
Totally agree! Off topic but I would LOVE a tutorial from you with the Danessa Myricks light work 4. You would do magic with it! 💜
I love all your content, so keep it coming!!
I would say better just stop obsessing over ourselves and others appearance all together no matter in what name. In my long experience of ed and body dysmorphia people saying "you're slim" and "you're fat" does pretty much the same to my psyche😓
Baby face at first and then naturally her face lost some of it’s fat. Beautiful lady no matter what her age.
Good review of these photos. ❤
The way you whisper "really fucking skinny" gives me serious asmr chills. Keep doing that plz.
