    Honestly, this tip not only helped me correct eye placement, but everything else about the shape of the face. Drawing the mask makes me see everything in 3D and how the shapes connect. Unbelieavable.

    YAAAASSSSS Dude you're AWESOME. I've been working on a drawing where the face was at an angle and I drew about 50 sets of eyes. Was starting to worry my paper was going to shred from the amount of times I erased. Tried this trick and I GOT IT. Yes! Thank you for this tip!

    About the thick strokes: it happened to me all the time and not even that long ago. I think I fixed it about 1-2 weeks ago.
    What I did to fix it was de-installing the old drivers and re-installing the new drivers of my wacom tablet from the wacom site. Now it does the thick lines only sometimes, but then I go to start>services and I restart "Tablet PC input service", "Tablet service pen" and "wacom consumer services" at it works fine (when you do that, it'll do the same as when you're restarting the computer, but now only for the tablet). If you have a newer tablet the names could be different though... I hope it helps!

    • @Javicandraw
      @Javicandraw  7 років тому

      Its been a while since I had this issue, I think it had to do with some "double tap as right click" cofiguration I had somewhere

    • @alanp741
      @alanp741 7 років тому

      Right Click is the button that is nearest to the stylus tip for me and I still had issues with it. Maybe Photoshop isn't that well compatible with the Wacom tablet because I now use Krita which is a free program(you can buy it at Steam but I don't know the difference) and I never had issues like that with that program or any other like SAI when I had it.

    I don't get how people can make the head shape first and then put the facial features on the face. Its so hard to make both the eyes identical and put everything else on in a small space.
    Please help me :(

    • @comicbookprodigy995
      @comicbookprodigy995 4 роки тому +3

      When drawing facial features first, proportions seem to unbalance. You wind up with a bigger head than ideal for the body, and certain features can be distorted. By drawing the egg (head) first, you can then draw guidelines on the head to set the eyes, nose, ears, mouth and hair, which is what the artist did here. It helps facial features stay proportionate. The most important thing to remember is an artist's drawing is never truly finished. Keep practicing!

    This is not a complaint: l thought you might be interested to know that background music, especially when one is trying to focus on words and technique, is a level of distraction for people with ADHD and other neuro-diverse types that makes it impossible to concentrate.
