  • Je ne pouvais pas trouver un vidéo avec les paroles, donc j'ai fait celui-ci. :D Si vous plaît, excuser tout erreurs; j'apprends à parler le français.
I couldn't find a video with the lyrics, so I made this one.
Révision 26 Fév: J'avais ajouté un note qui a changé "à pleine commence" à "à peine commence", 1:05
    ENGLISH TRANSLATION
    VALJEAN
    The big day
    Another life, another destiny
Freed from the constant need to flee.
But on the final judgment day
Each man must reveal his crimes
    On the big day.
    MARIUS
Tomorrow I'll never see her again
My blood runs cold at the thought
    VALJEAN
    The big day
    MARIUS and COSETTE
Tomorrow I'll never see you again
It's as if I've been struck by lightning
    ÉPONINE
    Tomorrow, alone in my story
    MARIUS and COSETTE
    Will I lose you forever?
    ÉPONINE
A big day lost without a glance
    MARIUS and COSETTE
When my life has barely begun
    ÉPONINE
A little more alone every night
    MARIUS and COSETTE
And I swear to be faithful
    ÉPONINE
I evoke him in my memory!
    ENJOLRAS
The big day is at hand.
    MARIUS
Should I go there, where she goes?
    ENJOLRAS
    Tomorrow on the barricade
    MARIUS
Or follow my brothers into combat?
    ENJOLRAS
    The big day finally dawns
    MARIUS
What to do? Do I have the right?
    ENJOLRAS
And the rights of humankind are written.
    ALL
    Friends, it's time
    Tomorrow arrives!
    VALJEAN
    The big day!
    JAVERT
    Their riot is childish
I will follow among their ranks
Without their suspecting it, I'll push them
    To splatter their own blood.
    VALJEAN
    The big day!
    The THÉNARDIERS
They're heading for disaster, we're waiting for the smoke to rise.
Once they've been shot in the wing we'll pluck 'em
A jewel here, a wee sou there
Nothing left to do but wait for the start of the hunt!
    The FRIENDS of the ABC
The big, patriotic day (Progress resumes its march)
Fighter for the future (Resurrected from its shroud)
By a magnificent hope (Of a new world to build)
At the will of the people!
    MARIUS
My place is here, by your side!
    (Everyone sings)
    VALJEAN
Tomorrow we'll leave with no regrets
    VALJEAN and JAVERT
    Tomorrow is the final judgment
    ALL
Tomorrow we will learn if God
    Has finally announced his return.
    It's finally here
    It's tomorrow
    The big day!

    Translation:
    Jean Valjean: That great day
    Another life, another destiny,
You may have escaped your punishment once,
But there will soon come judgement day,
When every man must soon reveal his sins,
    That great day.
Marius: From tomorrow I will never see her again
My blood freezes within my veins
    Valjean: That great day
Marius and Cosette: From tomorrow I will never see you again.
It is like lightning that now strikes me.
Eponine: Tomorrow I will be alone in my story
Marius and Cosette: So will I lose everything forever?
Eponine: Another day lost without seeing him.
Marius and Cosette: When my life becomes plain again
Eponine: Feeling more alone with each passing night.
Marius and Cosette: But I swear to remain true
Eponine: I will invoke him in my memories!
Enjolras: That grand day will come tomorrow
Marius: Should I go where she has gone?
Enjolras: Tomorrow we will build the barricade
Marius: Or follow my brothers to war?
Enjolras: That great day will soon arrive
Marius: What shall I do? Am I right or wrong?
Enjolras: And the men shall write
All: My friends, 'tis time, tomorrow is upon us!
    Valjean: One day more!
    Javert: This riot in shorts,
I shall follow in their ranks
I will pursue him while they doubt
To wash away their heated blood (Valjean: One day more!)
The Thenardiers: Going to the pipe-break to see it smoke,
When there is a feather of lead
    A small ring is here,
    And there another sou
There is something more to wait for
Than the beginning of the hunt (Valjean: One day more!)
Friends of the ABC: The great patriotic day
    The progress resumes its course,
As we fight for the future,
    Lifted from its old shroud
    To the magnificence of hope
To build a whole new world
Upon the will of the people!
Marius: My place is here, next to you
Valjean: One day more! (Cosette: Tomorrow I will never see you again. Rebels: With the heroes of the people! Thenardiers: With the pipe-breaker. Eponine: All alone in my history. Rebels: With new strategies. Thenardiers: With the feather of lead. Marius: My blood freezes in my viens. Javert: Inside their little secrets. Thenardiers: After they get away. Rebels: And we'll turn another page. Thenardiers: Another one of their feathers)
Valjean: One day more! (Cosette: Tomorrow I will never see you again. Rebels: With the heroes of the people! Thenardiers: With the pipe-breaker. Eponine: All alone in my history. Javert: I will follow in their ranks. Marius: My blood freezes in my veins, It is like lightning that strikes me.)
Valjean and Javert: Tomorrow we leave without regret,
Tomorrow is the final judgement day
All: Tomorrow we will know if God
Will announce his return to Earth
It's here at last! One more day! One day more!

Les Mis isn't about the French Revolution, it's about the June Rebellion

+Rebekah Bell In fact it's not about the June Rebellion, it's about revolution of the 1832(if I remember correctly). June revolution was before that one.

    • @creolebastard881

I think you might be confusing the June Rebellion for the July Revolution? The June Rebellion was in 1832 and the July Revolution was in 1830. Also, Wikipedia mentions that Les Misérables is describing the Rebellion.

This isn't from the original French album (1980) but the 1991 Paris revival. The original version of this song is "Demain" from the 1980 album. It was then adapted into the English "One Day More" and then that was adapted into this.
