@@soulz98llz42 Hey, are you good? I don't think it's normal to get yelled at as a newbie but depends on the people. Sorry you got yelled like that and it's just a small mistake, my advice would be to keep trying and don't take it too personally as that coworker was probably having a bad day or like he was just so stressed out about the job that that mistake made him/her lose their mind. You are still in training and the coworker is responsible for you so that might be a reason as well. Although, if you've decided that you love making coffee but people don't appreciate your effort; you should look for another place. Besides you can put them in your resume as experience so it is easier to find a new barista job You are still learning and bad days happen, don't feel discouraged to keep going, you can do it :).
Oh no, I've been there too, my friend! My advice for you is, learn as much as you can from that workplace, and once you're experienced enough, go find a new place where you'll be valued. There are a lot of workplaces that values the staff, you don't deserve to be yelled at when they don't have proper training in the first place. Be strong, learn as much as you can, and move on after that😘
I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m looking into barista/cafe worker jobs and I am also from Australia! I will subscribe for more tips and tutorials for barista workers! :D

I hope my videos can also give you some helpful insights, never give up and good luck 💪
Watching you making the coffee at your worst (well you tried to make it look bad as), is even better than mine after like actually trying! I am done. Hahahah.
Just found out this channel and I love it! Can you do a tutorials how to make different type of coffees? And I’m interested to your story too in how you and your sister become barista in the first place :D
Nice information...I remember my time when I start as a Barista here in Germany..Thank you for sharing your knowledge to the new Barista.Have a nice day and happy coffee day
Thank you very much! I went to trial couple days ago and I streamed milk for latte and cap separately 😂😂 and today I’m going to another trial, hope I can do it 💪🏼 thank you again! 😀
Hey, I have a question. Why do you use the same milk for the cappuccino and the latte after frothing. Doesn’t that result in both drinks having the same milk texture/micro foam in the end? I know you said to pour the cappuccino first but how does that change the final texture?
from what i read, it doesn't really change the texture what matters is that a latte shouldn't have much foam (she made a video about the difference between a cappucino, latte and flat white, what only changed was the amount of milk and amount of foam in each cup) hope this helped a bit!! :)
this confused me too, at my first barista job they trained me to steam cappuccino milk separately bc it needs more air than a latte but is that just my place?
That is a very good question...what she did was aerate the milk she did not create froth. Latte is a milkier version of a cappuccino, the true art of traditional styles has changed and the new order is basically ruining coffee styles. A good frothing result is when the froth can actually stand alone like meringue and actually sit as a peak above the rim of the cup and a Latte should end flush with the cup and have 10 mm of froth depth as against 20mmm or so on the capp. If you have ever purchased a take away coffee and noticed the cup feels light...that's because the milk has been aerated not stretched correctly and chocolate powder should not be applied onto the shot unless the customer asks for a Mocca...reality has been lost in modern translation!
You can do it💪, try to practice more when the shop is not busy or maybe find a new workplace where you will be given more opportunities to grow and learn!
Is this the breville coffee machine?? I bought that one but can't do milk very well. Also I don't know which way to adjust my grind. Which is better fine or corse I don't know
However, we have a video for making two lattes at the same time. Thought u might be interested in the video! :) ua-cam.com/video/BlzNbzwbR8A/v-deo.html
Hi I noticed you pour the milk in by the side during initial mixing, is that gonna mix better and help the art? Just wondering. Beginner here and I love your videos, thanks!
I need some help😐 I steamed the milk for both cappuccino and latte. I made cappuccino at first and then I tried to make latte but there was no form left on the milk. It looks like a milk tea instead.😦 So nowadays If I receive order for cappuccino and latte...I steam the milk separately😴
