That's pretty cool, those blue markers really pop! I just grabbed the special edition King Samurai with the black and green color scheme, kind of similar look to this one.
I recently purchased the SRPJ47K1 which somewhat pays homage to the old Seiko Sonar with its translucent dial and case back crystal. I showed the brown dial version as it is a rather unique and eye-catching colour. I set it to internet time when I received it almost 3 weeks ago, and am amazed to find it is still within 1 second of internet time! I have a time grapher app and holding it in 6 positions during the test if consistently tests at 0 seconds/day. My recently serviced Rolex Datejust is +1 to +2 seconds/day. My friend has the same Seiko model and after one month it is still within 2 seconds. I also have an SRPD63K1 in green dial. It runs +8 seconds/day, so I am not sure whether or not Seiko puts more effort into regulating the SRPJ47K1 version. All I can say is I am amazed with its accuracy.
Excellent quality review, good skills at camera make it look actually bettter than in real life. I checked the Seiko at local shop and it looks a bit cheap, specially compared to like same price Orient or Citizen watch. Tha ks for your effort on the review, a good one!
I was thinking "wow Seiko did a really great job with this one" and then you held up the Damasko and it just blew it away. It may look like there's no AR on the Seiko but it looks like there's no crystal on the Damasko. I like this 5KX, I'm surprised how good that blue-colored lume is. And its just a cool colorway. That Damasko though... whew!
Hey man, your review made me purchase one haha. Where did you get the dive strap from (it suits it perfectly) ? Just bought this model en the red variant, and I'm looking for some other strap options.

Thanks for your feedback Dave 👍
How do you like it? How does the lume compare?
Thank you for actually showing the in the dark lume shot. Most reviewers for get this.

6:35 beautiful shot! Great review and video!
This is one lovely watch! Buying this asap, thanks for the review
Just saw this at winners in Saskatoon for $250 on sale. They had this blue one with black and they had a brownish coloured one also.
Pick one up my man👊

Thanks Nef. Yes, the Damasko Dsub is one of my favourite diver atm. Though I am very impressed with the SRPD81, when you factor in the affordability 👌
Great review Toran, an affordable watch that looks very good. 👍🏻🎯😎😷
Many thanks Kevin 👍
Amazing. My next watch... Thanks bro...
You better hurry, it was just announced it was being discontinued 😢
@@johnhenryweber665thanks bro...

Thanks for the feedback. I picked up the divers strap off Ali Express for cheap. It just takes a few weeks to arrive 😜
The black and blue really makes this a great looking watch. I feel it would be too big for me though which is a bummer.
Where is that strap from?
Thanks for the feedback. The strap is a generic rubber from Ali Express
Мужик спасибо! Из 15 обзоров один ты показал цвет люминофора. Красавчик! Лайк от души.
I wish these 5 series were like a mm larger.
Can we fit a black metal strap on this watch? Do you have a link where I can buy one?
I have the same watch but mine doesn't say "Japan Movement" anywhere (have the original strap on so it may say it at the back, but not sure).
It's possible you have a Malaysian version of this watch. Not a big deal, just not Japan-domestic.
It would say “made in Japan” if it was made in Japan. Otherwise Japan movement means your watch is assembled somewhere else.
What is the production date? 2019?

nice watch strap!!!
Do you have purchase link?
It's a Zulu diver strap, which you can find on their website
@@EverydayWatchGuy 👌thanks a lot.
You have a 14 inch wrist?
Blue lume would have been cool
Is it made in China?
omg you sound exactly the same as Billy Bob Thornton
Not at all😁
