If you tie the leader to the swivel with a Palomar, first, you can then tie the main line to the swivel with a Palomar as well... Then the hook with a Palomar.... Just fyi... 😊
i’ve seen demonstration videos on youtube these jar test type experiments the white actually shows up better in water than the chartreuse chartreuse actually kind of blends in with dirty water much more than white

In South Florida, our water rarely gets below 70 and only from Dec-early Feb. Our water temps are already in the low 80s by the end of April early May. So for Florida, when are the best times to fish a floating worm?
I love the floating worm and you are right on about colors and letting the fish tell you - there will be a clear preference. I just started using your rigging (used to always use a round bend offset work hook) and I’m sold on it. Caught my biggest bass so far this year on a merthiolate trick worm last week with that 1/0 g-finesse hook 🙌🏼

Randy I remember back in the day before livescope Davey Hite used to tear them up on this technique.He did use a bait caster though.I guess it's personal preference.I like the spinning reel though.Hey Randy I love the channel and I try to watch all of the shows.
Yes this is a good idea! Love it when they’re on a trick worm bite. Had trouble last time I was catchin em with size. They were all small. Think there was one called a air lizard too btw
Resume trick worm with a motor oil with chartreuse tip gets them under almost every situation. Not as many as the go to color for the condition, but it a good anytime go to especially if conditions are fluctuating.
Neko and wacky rig work really good when fish wont bite this method. I do not balanced the worm when I fish a trick worm as a wacky or Neko rig. Also good for the drop shot and free rig....

@@andrewgreig8491 both. I always weighed em with a jig. Whether it floats or not didn't matter. They hit it. Even steelhead Besides, a lot of floating worms don't float well. They usually sink very slow

Im going to run old purple in my river first then if no bites, I'll try a smaller 4" pbandj..

I use a lighter medium action spinning reels so that I can actually set the hook
