I have an F87 M2C with a 6MT, the car is just so much fun to drive. I already put an aftermarket exhaust on it to help fix the sound, it’s a night and day difference once you allow the car to breathe better.
I have a 21 m2c/manual, your OG m2 inspired me to get it. Got one of the last ones mfg'ed before they went discontinued. Had to order it from Seattle of all places because there were no more allocations left. Best decision on a car i ever made, hands down one of the best overall M cars BMW ever produced.
I test drove a 2021 M2C yesterday. Only had 5K miles on it, like new, manual. I'm all for some nice exhaust sounds when getting on it, but the super loud metallic BRAAPPP explosion every time you upshift is a bit more than I want. There's nice sounding, then there's obnoxious. I don't wan the obnoxious. I'd have to do something about that. Fantastic car other than that.
Any info on the Ps4s Star versus the non star tire setup? I hear that the Star variant is made for a G82 Front and is not recommended for the F87. Not sure if there’s anymore insight that can be provided for it
While I absolutely love this M2, I just couldn't live with that clicking noise when shifting. I just can't get into paddle shifting after driving manuals for so long. I drove a C8 just last week and I was blown away by its performance but still, the paddles just felt wrong to me. I kept shifting too early. I'd have to get softer sounding paddles for an M2 like this.
man, i really wish bmw put a b58 in the f87, would've been so good even with just a gen 1 b58 tuned up instead of the n55 (yes i know its an upgraded n55, still)
lol comp is nice when single turbo and actually sounds good. I much prefer the 660whp in my 2018 lci m2 with 6spd. But let’s be real I’m just glad these cars still exist. As much as I’m appalled of the looks of the g series m2 the s58 is a banger.
@@mperformance3502 lol you act like the s series engines are the end all be all. Inferior?? How bout work that crank hub first. And yes it’s a thing. I also had an f80 m3 and had crank hub issues while being stock. Both the n55b and s55 are fantastic. And the m2 isn’t some drag car lol. 😂

Thanks for featuring an M2! People call me crazy for selling my M5C for a 21 M2C 6MT, but I don't regret it one bit! I'm enjoying it so much more.

Brilliant move on the rotors, biggest gripe on my car is lack of wheels due to the size of the brake packages
There's no beating the grunt of the E92's S65. Such an incredible sounding engine.

I thought I would be okay with an f30. After test driving the m2 comp I stopped wanting a f30, that's how perfect the m2 was for me.
Ridgeline makes good shit, they shipped my gt4 v2 splitter on my e90 m3 perfectly

I prefer the characteristics of the n55. I’m fbo hpfp E85 and it rips pretty good but it’s still smooth
