Daggerwin, I keep seeing you, and other UA-camrs cutting the trees wrong in FS15. Yeah, in real life you need to notch the side you want it to fall towards, but FS15 has a built in notch cut when you cut it near perfectly 90 degrees square with the trunk. Cut a tree with the saw at 90 degrees from the trunk, the tree will always fall to your left, and you will see the stump has evidence of a notch missing off of the left side of it. I always walk up to the tree from a direction such that the tree falling to my left is where I want it to fall, turn the saw 90 degrees, get in position so the cutting disk shows up, then crouch and cut. You can tip the saw down a little bit to try to lower the height of the stumps, but tipping too much brings the cut out of square with the trunk, and negates the built in notching. Try it that way, and you will remove no end of frustrations about trees not falling over after being cut.
In game it is so that if you cut horizontally, not at an angle, the tree will always fall to your left. This way you can control where the tree falls and exclude the randomness.

I followed you method in the Forrest but used the Ponsse S/king, it worked very well cutting in 2m lengths
Soilmod will cause your straw swatches to shrink by a stage each day at midnight, so don't leave them too long. Not sure how many stages before they are gone, as I have never left for more than two game days. On the plus side, it does mean all those untidy missed bits will eventually disappear!

I use the Logitech G27 wheel with the Saitek side panel.

You should sell wood chips in storage as well, get a bit more of a cash injection. And you left the gate to the forest open. Remember your countryside code.
Daggerwin can I ask you a question, would you like to see fs15 mods in the case game of fs17 not like John Deere's and stuff as I don't think they have a agreement on using John Deere's in fs17 I mean more like the terrain mod or mud mod I personally would like to see that a lot! :)

Try disabling the "true" in the drivecontrol_config.xml by changing "true" to "false"
I guess that could easily conflict with real terrain mod

Daggerwin, did you ever get as far in SPINTIRES as using advanced mode, where you have to load the logs manually? Giants could learn a lot from Spintires about log handling - it is so much more slick in Spintires.

the jumping wheels is on my xbox 360 so i don't think that there is a conflict between two mods.

Daggerwin, you were asking for suggestions for a large tractor on Thornton Farm in the last episode. How about something like the Class Xerion 4500. There is a fantastic mod out there for it and it's something unusual.

I'm pretty sure there is a conflict with Real Terrain, but I think it may be conflicting with Terrain & Dirt Control, it may also be conflicting with Drive Control as well. I have removed Real Terrain, and no longer use it on any maps that I play on. Also, I see that not only has Thornton Farm been released, but also Knaveswell, and Ventonwyn, so I'm so excited. I just don't know which map to play first.

Yes there is because I asked the author of Terrain & Dirt Control mod, and he said that there is a conflict between OEB Real Terrain, and Terrain & Dirt Control, and that they should not both be used together.
Dagger win you should update the wood chipper mod. That backwards conveyer has been fixed. (It's version 2)

I think it might be the mud mod conflicting with real terrain as the mud mod says in the description that the suspension moves up and down over different terrain just what real terrain mod does 🤔

not to be rude daggerwin but tree chipping inst time consuming when your efficient. your setup could have been better with a tree harvester and you could have used the crane on the chipper. just some tips for future reference.
