Also check out an ELHO rake. I think it would be far easier for you on the maps you are running now. They can be front or rear mounted

Daggerwin, I am relatively new to farming simulator and have come to rely on your videos to help me both learn to play the game and to identify the best mods to use. Since subscribing to your channel, my enjoyment of the game has grown immensely thanks to the great mods and maps. I am currently playing Coldborough Park Farm and loving the map. The UK maps are the most realistic. I live in the US, but have not found any great US maps so I will continue with the UK. I love watching your videos and I am a great fan of your playing style. Also a shoutout to the great mod and map makers who make this game fantastic, BulletBill83, OxygenDavid, and Tommx55 to name a few of my favorites. Keep up the great work. We appreciate you.

great video daggerwin. the reason the extra straw is due to the mud mod it has crop destruction on so if you drive across a field of wheat/barley it will delete the crop and leave straw whatever vehicle you use

Great vid dagger. Also love the choice of equipment and how your challenging yourself with the money situation. I really hope you move Thornton to fri-sat-sun and knaveswell tue-wed but that's your choice I just think it would be better as Thornton is a bigger farm. Anyways great vid

Really enjoyed the video, a massive thumbs up. I have been using the Massey Ferguson 9407 telehandler for a few weeks now, and I highly recommend it, especially the different steering modes. It is the same model as the New Holland DLC, but the extra features make it more useful.

very nice as per usual daggerwin love the claas i use them both just remember you can please some of the people some of the time but you cant please all the people all of the time lol my local sale yard sold a massey 1220 first i have seen in years
Another brilliant video!!! But when you are in the field on the tractor with the trailer, don't drive a over the swoth/straw because in real life it gets caught in the drawbar of the trailer and then you have to get out and try pull all the straw out. But still a great vid

With them combines you usually you do 3 headlands and go through the middle of the field and keep going so the pipe/auger will be on the straw on the tractor stays at the side of the field and the combines just his till it if you're alone harvesting mate :)

Hey Dagger, if you really want to RP you can justify running a Lexion 580-600. They are already 15+ years old as well. That Mega is something from the 90s, it is possible a farm like this would use one but not sure as a primary at least for a long time. It's a good looking mod though! Also can't wait for this map to get released and put some hours on it.
is that the combain harvester u used in kanasvel and the heder looks a bit big on that heder trailer. great video though as usual keep them coming

Dagger quick tip. If you put your front right tire on the previous swath of straw you can unload the combine easier.

Dagger if your really going for realism why don't you do seasons? Personally I'd find watching you do a few episodes of ploughing/cultivating all the fields in Autumn then sowing followed by fertiliser and spraying in the spring and in summer just go all out harvesting? Like 5 episodes a season

When you start to use soilmod on this map, I think it would be very advisable to change your soilmod intervalIngameDays to maybe two days for this map. This would give you much more time for harvesting, and spraying, and all the other jobs you need to do.
I like the idea of that, I will change it after the harvest :)

Hi +Daggerwin i know you probably get asked this lots at the moment but sandy bay and the trigger wont work to go on your server on fs multiplayer! They are both installed and unzipped in my mods folder! Any ideas? Can anyone help me? I also dont have the link for the joskin could you put that somewhere for me please? Thank you!!

Hi Daggerwin, i have the error when you drive on the crop it makes a straw swath. I don't have that combine isn't the problem. Its so annoying when you go to spray a field that is grown!! if you can find the cause please mention it in a video would be so helpful. And awesome video as always!

I think the Claas Mega Dominator has a fail safe system that cuts off the header power when the operator gets out of the harvester while the engine is running.
When harvesting irl you fill the trailer from the back to the fromt so you can see where the grain is going when you are alongside the harvester
