Good on you mate for not supporting unauthorized mods. You are right. The legitimate authors work hard on a good mod and it's very distasteful when someone just slips it out from under and puts their name on it.
I downloaded that mod and couldn't get it to show up in game so it's deleted anyway.

yes it is extremely tough being a farmer because at the moment we are trying to get our silage cut and we cant get 2 days just to cut it because its to wet and it wont stop raining and its really disheartning when you are up every morning at 6 checking sheep and cows and you spend so much time with them and making sure they get a good quality of life before we sell them and they can turn around and die because you were a few minutes late to help them calf or lamb and you loose the beautiful animal.its not easy and its hard to watch your hard work be washed away in a flood and u need to make sure you save as much of the crop as you can but you cant afford to because you had to spend your money on feed for your animals.farming isnt all fun and games its tough and it is definitly not a hoppy, it is a hard job that is not a 9 to 5 and you can go home to your warm bed and sleep till the morning.You can never say your done because theres always something else to do and it never ends ,but thats why i loveeeeeeee it.

Hi dagger! Nutrient levels of grass fields do affect the yield but only if you harvest it directly, for example with a forage harvester. this is bevause soilmod cannot affect windrows which you get with regular cutting. same goes for the swaths left behind by the combine, the crop yield is influenced by nutrient levels, the swaths are not.

Good job dagger ! But in real life , you first do the most far end f the field , so you dont have to keep driving though the slurry you already spread , but you did a great job :)

The rain is actualy washing the slurry away
Thanks for feeling bad a little about farmers but depending on equipment. but now it's going good for the new equipment and technology usually.
I can't wait for mods on consoles as I'm on ps4. Makes the game so much more fun and entertaining

Nice mod of a slurry speader it looks like a bigger version of the in game marshal one and I do think you do the slurry work well.

I would in your place put it in the grass field where you put he combine now?
That be a nice spot there on the edge of that field so you can bring in the machine to be washed then either park it up neatly in the field or move it onto the shed or storage area you wish it to be?
I use the green grass field at the back of the main crop farm in coldborough park farm map for the storage of the bigger machines,
As it really helps to have them neat somewhere! :) also I have two pressure washers at each end of the grass field so I can wash the machines there!

great vid dagger but when your spreading slurry you usually start at the opoisite side of the field that the gate is on and you also go up a d down the field and then do the headland last
Dagger here is a tip, Don't turn with the four wheel drive on, It wears out the axels
You should start the opposite end of the field to the gate and then go up and down in strips, that's how I've always been told to do it, it means you don't drive on whatever you've already spread
get a agitator(slurry mixer) for your open pit and leave it goin when your away spreading and please get the chain mod would love to see it
Why did I get recommended this. I seen your recent video saying that it was picked up by the algorithm again, but it's still very weird. Atleast I know what the OG purbeck Valley farm looks like
I think it may be a problem with size on the fendt because its looks alright next to the other fendt at: 5:24 anyways good video! Cant wait for the next one!

You can also get slurry at the biogas, and the fendt did indeed handle the spreader quite good despite the fendt having 125hp and the trailer needing 130hp

Slurry tanker has bigger wheels meaning less pulling power and ground didn't vary a lot in height

You should start at the opposite end of the field to gate and go up and down so you don't drive on what you already spread when refilling
+daggerwin, it's not that hard to spread on a farm because you would normally have a little computer in the tractor or truck and its shows where u have been. And also do u know where the manure is?

I dont know, Thornton farm is kinda better in my opinio.. not that Knaveswell isnt good, I just prefer bigger fields althrough this is quite realistic and also Im not really a fan of the main farm being in the middle of the road.. sorry for bad english btw
+daggerwin a lot of people use bbi spreading on grass but if you have slurry you should use it to get rid of it

Daggerwin if you were spreading slurry and you're not going to spray you go At around 2mph and if you see a wet spot try go around it
sorry to tell you but i think to get the slurry to work on grass you need the green manure mod
U need to keep the row crop tyres on cause it is unrealistic if u change the tyres everyday for a few jobs
hey dagger i dont know if you read old comments but i recently got this map and it told me to get animation map trigger so i got it and put it in my mods folder. but when i get in game (this map) the gates dont give me an option to open, any help is appreciated, thanks :)

Dagger one of the most common tractor brands in Ireland is Valtra so if you ever want make it more realistic a Valtra would do a great job
it isnt. jd, nh and mf are the three main brands. maybe where you live valtras are common but across the country nope

daggerwin when you're spreading slurry you have to spread it in straight lines or else would break the drive shaft
Slurry and nitrogen spraying is one of the hardest jobs as u can hardly see where I've bin

No dagger don't rent the big m just mow a couple of fields with ur own two mowers would be unrealistic for a farmer to rent a big m when he has his own two mowers unless they were broken or something
I would generally agree, but soilmod does not affect "windrows" while directly harvesting it does. This is because at direct harvesting grass is considered a fruit type and thus can be affected. cut grass on the ground can't
Can you elaborate more on this comment please? Also does adding slurry or fert to grass have any affect on grass crop?

+KWAKA To clarify (and check the read me that comes with the Soilmod) the amount of grass that is in a windrow is somehow fixed by the game, so the soil condition has no effect. But if you use a forage harvester, it treats it like wheat, canola etc and yield is affected by the pH, moisture and nutrients.
+Daggerwin i farm and we dont do slurry but we do regular manure and it is not that hard to see but i understand 😊😄

two things about your slurry spreading, 1 you never spread the headlands first and you only spread in straight lines and always start at the furthest end of the field (unless there is a hill clearly) and 2 your spreading way to fast, in real life if you want a high dose you go at about 3 or 4 kilometers but about 8 kilometers tops. Ive been spreading slurry since i was 12 so know all about it

manure is not supposed to get washed in by the rain b/c it will run off into streams and violate farm laws

When I play I leave 4x4 on all the time, sometimes rear diff lock too if tractor seems under-powered but I only use front diff lock if i'm crawling up a hill at like 2 or 3 mph or I get stuck. I know front diff lock effects steering and rear less so but I am starting to wonder if there's a reason 4x4 shouldn't be used? I never worked on 4x4's so i'm not sure
In real life if you use 4wd on hard surfaces like roads it will ware your tires unevenly

the quality of a bale inst effected but of course the yield will be much less so effectively that is the loss of money when they are sold instead of the quality
